The Technition was extremly professional and spoke highly of the companys ethics and what a great enterprise Precision is to work for. It was evedent that Treavor ( the tech) loves his work and he extremly knowledgeable in his trade, he took the time to explain to me the routine maintenance and care to provide that will insure many years of service. He was timely courtious and efficient. Thank's Precision you made my day!

They put in the garage door opener. My door had fallen down and it was stuck in the down position. They came in within an hour or hour and a half and fixed everything. They were professional and they got the problem done. This time I had a good experience. In the past, my husband had a bad experience with them. He wasn't sure what was wrong with the garage door and he thought they overcharged for the work that would have been needed. He ended up getting a second opinion that was much less.

They were really good. The guy that came out was professional. He diagnosed the problem really quickly. When he finished he made sure that the rails were really lubricated. He was really good and provided really good customer service. They came really quickly. I would use them again.

Beware!!! I called them to do the inspection and considered them "EXPERTS" in garage door repair. The person who came in spent less than 5 minutes inspecting the garage door and said that my Genie operator needs to be replaced. He said "its old". He did not even open the panel on the Genie to see what is going on. He said that for $400 + tax, they can replace it. I refused and paid $53 for their services. When he left, I spent 30 minutes cleaning the rail and my garage door opener works "like a champ". It has been running now for more than 10 days with at least 100 times of opening / closing. Bottom line, I am very unhappy. They are not experts and are out there to replace complete systems even if they do not need to be replaced. I DO NOT CALL EXPERTS TO TELL ME THAT MY "OPENER IS OLD". I already know the age of the opener (15 years) but it can probably run another 15 years so why replace?

My over-sized double car garage door came off the track, leaving it standing open, on a Saturday night. I consulted Angie's list and then called Precision Garage Door Service at 10:12 p.m. hoping to leave a voice mail message for someone to call me back when they reopened. To my surprise, a live person actually answered my call and scheduled an appointment for the next day, Sunday, with Sabino Sanchez. Sabino arrived on time, was courteous, knew what needed to be done, gave me an accurate estimate (waiving the $49.95 service fee since I was an Angie's member), and went to work. Several stacked storage containers in my garage had to be moved for the work to be done and the repairman even moved them back after he completed the work. I could not be more pleased!

I originally scheduled this as a service call for my garage door when it began having problems, after I made the appointment it stopped working altogether. Luckily the appointment they gave me was just a day away. The service guy showed up promptly on time, allowed me to watch him working and explained what he was doing to me. It turns out there were several problems, which he all fixed, then lubricated the door and left. The whole appointment was about 30 minutes. The price was a bit high for a service call compared to other companies, but he worked hard to fix the problem without ordering additional parts or costing me additional money.

I called them and they came when they said they would. They did what they had to do and did it promptly. They job turned out fine.

They were excellent. He showed up when he said he would, he was very honest, and I am very happy with the work. I would absolutely use them again.

I just had someone from Precision Overhead Services here in Albuquerque, I live in the downtown area of Albuquerque and leaving a garage door open is an invitation for theft. A technician came out and closed the garage door which had been stuck open. While the service person released the garage door, so that I can close it manually, he stated that the opener was irreparable. It was an emergency, and I was told that the service call would cost $49.00, with a $10.00 discount since I mentioned I found their name in the yellow pages. The service person spent less than a half hour rewinding the cables and added bit of tension to the springs. For that, I was charged an additional $140.00. And then he had the effrontery of trying to sell me a new garage door and opener for $2500. Today, I checked with Lowe?s, Costco, and a local garage door installer. All of them quoted me a price for a similar door and opener for less than half what Precision wanted to charge me.

If I do need a new opener, I certainly will not call on this company. My feeling is that he had already decided to tell me I needed a new one. I know the economy is bad but at least make it look like your doing your job.

BEWARE!! Do service price comparisons first, company will charge the $49.95 service call even if they don't perform any work. The technician right away started suggesting that the springs probably needed to be replaced. Odd, since both springs had been replaced within one year. He then insisted that we had the wrong springs on the door (I later confirmed with the door manufacturer that this was not the case). Anyhow, since I was already down $50, I allowed the technician to do the work for which he quoted me $150, I did not think this was on top of the $50 service call and the additional fuel sur charge. I believe the $150 was expensive enough considering it only took him 15 minutes to do the repair. Furthermore, the technician wrote me the 'Work- order Agreement' AFTER he had done the work. Call me naive, but that was outright wrong on the technician's part. And, to make matters worse, I later called two other service companies, both quoted prices much less than Precision.

I DID NOT HAVE TO WATCH THEM DO THE JOB OR TELL THEM WHAT I WANTED DONE. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY WERE PROMPT AND ON TIME. THEY ANSWERED ALL THE QUESTIONS I ASKED.

THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY REPAIRED THE GARAGE DOOR WITHOUT ME HAVING TO STAND OVER AND WATCH THEM. THEY ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS. THEY ARE A VERY GOOD COMPANY.
