Precision Garage Door

The two Technicians showed up at the time promised, the installation took about four hours. The installation went very well, the Techs were very friendly. They gave us instruction on how everything worked and they cleaned up after them selves. The doors and openers are very high quality, look great and worth the cost. The company did a excellent job beginning to end.

The technician explained each step of the repair, both before and after completion. We were very pleased with the work performed.

The recommended business is 90 miles away and does not service Los Alamos.

I told Precision that we had a loud noise whenever we open or close our garage door. I told them that I just wanted them to do a regular maintenance. He came out and the guy talked my husband into a $500 service and the noise was still there afterwards. I didn't call or complain. I just decided not to use them again. My husband was pleased with the service. I was upset with the up sell. I had said that I want the $139 service. He did a really good job and the day before we were supposed to leave on vacation I went out and the door was completely of it's hinges. It fell off the tracks. It worked smoother but it still made the noise. My husband got it back on the track. We called precision and said that they could have someone here by 9:30 in the morning. They were responsive. They said that if it had anything to do with what the guy did, there wouldn't be a charge. If it didn't have anything to do with what he did, there would be a charge. I thought it was odd. I figured that we would get a maintenance on it and we would be fine. I would say to be careful of the up sell. I wouldn't use them again because of the up sell feature. He was very nice, professional, and showed him exactly what he was going to do and how he was going to do it. It has never come off before. I will just use the company that put the doors in. They fixed one garage door. I thought $500 was high, he was here an hour and a half. If he had done what I had contracted him to do, I would have been happy.

Provider came same day. Service person was a little late but called and gave a heads up. Did work well and cleaned up completely when finished.

There was some difficulty getting the visit scheduled with call backs etc, as well as confusion over the charges, but the company was responsive when called, we were charged correctly and the work they did was good. I would use them again.

The service provided was excellent. Gary, the Precision Garage Door technician, was on time and provided excellent service, which was completed in less than an hour. Gary made his adjustments, lubricated the hinges and provided information on the door itself (it's only a couple years old, which we were unaware of) and on the remaining life expectancy of the hardware that was not replaced with the door. He also provided information on new equipment, should we find ourselves in need of future repairs/ replacements. Nice job and, if required, I will contact Precision Garage Door for any future maintenance.

The service was fine. They showed up and lubricated the hinges, although, they were not able to stop the squeak of the door. They were pleasant and professional.

On July 9, 2015, Ruben and Tyler showed up ready to install my new garage door. They both introduced themselves. Both were very friendly and courteous. I left them to do their work but checked on them in case anything was needed. The old manual garage door was removed in no time. The new steel garage door was installed with a digital keypad transmitter on the outside wall of the garage door and a wall station next to my light switch as I enter into the garage door. I am so happy with my new garage door its like a xmas present to me. All the sides of the garage door was enclosed and two automatic garage door openers were provided. I was asked to key in my own passcode to open the gaarage door. Ruben explained to me how to lock the swiych whenever I'm out of town. He also explained the up keep of maintainig the garage door by lubricating door hinges, rollers and bearings. If I'm not comfortable in perfrorming the maintanance on the garage door, both advised me that I could call the company and they'll do the maintanance on it. All the old parts to the garage door was removed. I told both of the workers that they did a wonderful job and thanked them.

It went very well. The price was good. They came when they said they were supposed to and they finished up. The garage door is fixed and they did a good job.

Our garage door spring broke on a Saturday as we were getting ready to leave. I called Precision door and they had somebody out in less than 2 hours, Craig the owner. Several repair options were presented in a matter of fact, low pressure way. I could have just had the door repaired, but we had been thinking about getting a new insulated door for awhile. Deciding factors for getting a new door vs. repairing were getting two springs vs. one (our old door had one spring, two improves safety), a new bottom seal (mice had chewed ours), a new factory paint job in Sandtone (our door needed repainting), and all new hardware and track. Craig put up a new spring to get our door operational again while a new door was ordered. The new door took about three weeks to come in, at which point Ruben and Tyler came out to install it. It took them about 2.5 hours to install and they did a great job. The door looks great. We are very happy customers!

Signed up for a "tune-up" on my garage door through Angie's List. Met Ryan who answered my questions about upgrades. He didn't try to sell me anything and said everything was in working order. But I decided to buy a new garage door and he applied the cost of the tune-up to the door cost! Then I met Tyler and Ruben on installation. They called first and were very organized. Ruben took the time to adjust the door and show me how to open it manually if needed. Great website and there are bios and pics of the techs so you know what they look like. Very professional. When I upgrade my opener I definitely will call them again.

The repair person was very professional and explained everything to me. He did no extra work without my approval. I would use this company again.

The appt was between 3 and 5 but at 3:40 the technician called to appologize that he could not be there exactly at 3:00. He let me know when I could expect him. When he arrived he was knowledgable but very personable so I felt very much at ease. He offered to do just the springs that broke, but for only a little more he took care of some extra fixes our aging garage door needed like replacing the door rollers, hinges and the reinforcement bracket. If felt as though I got a good deal.

It went very well. They had it installed in an hour. They were extremely professional. They took my schedule into account and they did a Great job. Would hire them again.

My garage door had begun to stick halfway open and I needed someone to assess it immediately. Precision Door responded right away. This company was great from the original phone call to the person who came to my home. Very professional and courteous as well as being able to respond to an urgent situation. The work was done immediately and timely. I was pleased that the door could be fixed without having to replace it. I feel the job was done very well and the door operates quietly and effectively. I am very pleased with this service and will use them in the future as well as recommend them to others.

The two workers were professional, friendly and knowledgable. The job was completed within an 90 minutes. Afterwords they showed me how to work the door and keypad and I then demonstrated my knowledge. They were patient with my questions and answered them thoroughly.

I had what turned out to be a fairly complicated problem with my garage door mechanism. Craig arrived late on a Saturday afternoon and with good humor and manifest expertise completed the job in a most agreeable fashion. His dedication to quality work was obvious.

Door was inspected and numerous issues were observed. New door installed same day.

Rudy did a great job. He went right to work and checked all the moving parts and oiled them. Then he changed out all the old rollers, which were plastic, for much better rollers. As a result, my clanky, noisy garage door is so much quieter now and improved all around. I will call Precision in the future as needed.

As was the first time I used Precision Door a couple of years ago (they came out on a Sunday and replaced garage door opener), they were timely, very professional, helpful and courteous. After the technician realigned the eye I asked him about replacing the springs and about the special they were running through Angie's list. He offered to give me the discount even though I had not bought it in advance.

Very nice. Very good. Sweet people. The worker was fine. There was only one worker. He was more prompt than what they said, he was about an hour early.
