Oxi Fresh of Albuquerque Carpet Cleaning

I have had it steamed cleaned, shampoo cleaned, you name it. I like that you don't get the wet residue left on the carpet when you walk on it. I don't do that game very well, its not my favorite thing. I like that they are an dry service. They aren't draining five hundred buckets of water, and I like that.

It was fine. They showed up on time and did what they were supposed to do. One cleaner came out.

I'll start with the positives: Scheduling an appointment was easy online, the personnel performing the cleaning called me ~30 minutes prior to the appointment time to verify and let me know that he might be a few minutes late, the person doing the cleaning was professional and pleasant, the whole process was fast - it took a little over an hour from start to finish. Now for the negatives: An out-of-state relative had recommended Oxifresh and said that it was the best carpet cleaning that they'd every received. They said that the person that cleaned their carpets came in, treated spots, used the special solution and brush machine to work the solution into the carpet, and finally vacuumed the carpets. The whole process for 2 rooms and a hallway took ~2 hours. In our house, the person performing the work came in, treated stains/spots, treated the whole carpet in each room, and then used the brush machine to work the solution into the carpet. After this, they said that they were done and had me inspect the spots where stains previously were and verify that they'd gotten them out (they did). Finally, they said that in a few hours when the carpet dries I should lightly vacuum it, which I did. I was surprised that they didn't vacuum our carpets as was done for our relative out of state, but the carpets did look good. After a day or so, I noticed that my socks would feel sticky after walking on the carpet and then walking on the tile. So, I vacuumed the whole house twice more -- my total time vacuuming was more than the entire time the employee was in my house. The vacuum did pick up a lot of dirt (and the stickiness went away), but I thought that it was odd that I was having to vacuum my whole house 3 times when I'd just paid somebody to clean my carpets. Indeed, I'm not really sure how Oxifresh can claim to clean carpets when all they do is spray a solution on it and then work it into the carpet. This process must leave the solution and all prior dirt in the carpet for you to clean yourself! I was curious as to why our carpets weren't vacuumed by Oxifresh so I called the national phone number and asked them to walk me through the process. To my surprise, vacuuming the carpet after treating it is not standard practice. The person at the national office said that we can request vacuuming and it is free of charge, but we won't get that service unless we ask for it. This to me is really surprising. I don't believe that Oxifresh can claim to be a carpet cleaning service when they don't do the cleaning themselves -- the actual cleaning is done by the client when they vacuum their carpets after Oxifresh leaves. So, we received the exact service that we paid for and I'd say that the quality was okay -- the carpets look good and the stains were removed, but I spent more time vacuuming to get all of the 'encapsulated' dirt out of my carpet than the Oxifresh staff was in my house.

It was fine. They showed up on time, did the job. Overall we were satisfied. I would use them again.

My experience was average. Scheduling an appointment was fine. He did not really get the spots out that he said he was going to be able to. He said it would be dry within 3-4 hours and it took more like 8-10 hours for everything to dry.

I was not impressed with the guy personally. He did an adequate job, but it was not the best I have ever had, and he was kind of grouchy. He was not very professional. I would not get them again. The price was okay though.

The service was fine. They were good, they were here prompt and they did their job. I had to pay more, because I have a dog that pees all over the house, but it was fine. The price was fair.

It turned out great! We are calling them again to come out. They did an excellent job and gave an excellent price.

The tech was late, but called ahead to let me know. The carpet dried well, but I have had others that cleaned it better. It looks okay, I just know that it can look better. They were okay though. I might use them again, as the price wasn't bad. The cheap guys are usually horrible. You do get what you pay for!

The service was excellent, the carpet looks better than it ever has in the past according to my wife.

They did a very good job. Cleaned two rooms of carpets.

I contacted the company and was greeted by a very nice lady to schedule my appointment. They were very accomodating and scheduled my appointment at the best possible time for me. When the tech showed up she was very prompt and professional. She did an amazing job cleaning my carpets and the furniture. The carpets were completely dry within an hour and they smelled very fresh. We had the same result with the furniture. We wouldn't ever use another steam carpet cleaning system in our home again and will be life-long Oxifresh customers!

The service went fine. We thought the girl who came out was very good and we don't have any complaints.

The ladies were great employees and they got the job done quick. The only thing that was not to my satisfaction was that my carpet was very hard and rough after they cleaned it.

They were good and did a terrific job. My carpet had never been professionally cleaned but they got it to look great. I was really pleased with all the stains they got out and it was even pet friendly. They were just prompt and really thorough. I felt comfortable with him being here and offered a competitive price.

WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL!!! OXI-Fresh was our first thought on who to contact and they will be our next first thought. As before; I absolutely love how much less drying time there is. And you know what... Let's talk about the REAL REAL test! My pregnant wife said she loved the job they did. This is on an ivory white berber carpet that is about 12 years old and in very good condition. Need I say more... If the nesting mama is happy, I have done my good deed and all is right in the world.

See above. I waited for a couple of months to review, because I thought mulitple vacuumings might return my carpet to a closer version of the original. Did not happen. Carpet looks lifeless compared to before cleaning.

Not impressed with the cleaning properties of Oxi-Clean.

A tech and a trainee arrived on time, after calling ahead as I asked them to do. They were clean, neat, polite, professional and careful. They worked hard the entire time they were there. I am pleased with the results. They were able to remove some stubborn stains and even lighten up some old ones. That is saying a lot: the carpet is 14 years old and has been through 3 kids and 3 dogs!

Thanks to an Angie's List Big Deal, we had this company over to clean our carpets and upholster the chair, (the chair wasn't part of the Big Deal, but for an extra $30, we had it done). The guy who was coming out couldn't make it due to a family emergency, and he sent this young lady out instead. That might explain what happened, but I don't know if it's a matter of being inexperienced or just having a bad product. After the carpets and chair dried, all the major spots were still there. The carpet looked like it use to, though it was slightly cleaner, the stains were still present. Similarly, the chair still looks dirty. Compared to other carpet cleanings that same floor has had, I would say that this service was by far the worst quality of all of them. It would have been better to rent a Rug Doctor instead. I would not recommend this company or service to anyone else.

I bought the Angie's List coupon for 2 rooms of carpet. I have old off-white berber carpeting with kids and pets so they were in pretty bad shape. They called the morning they were coming to confirm and then the tech arrived on time and got to work. It didn't take very long and the carpets look much better. The process does leave a crusty residue after the carpets dry but it goes away after the carpet is walked on. My only negative is that there was a and quot;service chargeand quot; on top of the coupon price that I wasn't told about when I schedule the appointment.

Experience was fine. Just not quite what I expected.

It was easy to schedule an appointment at a convenient time. The cleaning itself went quickly. The carpet did need a whole day to dry and it was necessary to vacuum it right away to get the last of the residue. This may just be a function of my carpeting, because I've always need to do that after a cleaning. The critical point is that six weeks later the traffic pattern has NOT returned, which tells me the cleaning was deep and thorough.

Purchased special online. Then added stairs and two more rooms at time of service. The only issue was that the person who took the order online did not calculate the right amount so the technician needed to amend the bill. She was very willing to do that however and other than the extra time involved for that the entire cleaning process took apprx. an hour.
