Hazel came many times throughout the summer as we worked our way through every room in our house, garage, and the shed in our backyard. She helped us map out a plan and schedule. After 18 years in our home, the clutter was taking over--Hazel's help and suggestions has changed our house into a calm and uncluttered delight. I highly recommend Organized For Life for anyone who has reached the point where they are serious about decluttering and organizing their house. We are so pleased with the results.
Description of Work: Hazel helped us organize our home, garage, and shed from top to bottom. She worked extensively alongside us, helping, giving tips, suggestions, and encouragement.She also helped us rearrange our furniture, window coverings, and items on our walls. We love the results.

Hazel is smart, flexible, patient and kind. The results have been wonderful, but working with her was also a pleasure. It's been worth every penny.
Description of Work: Hazel helped me organize my office, jewelry design workspace and my garage. She helped me make difficult decisions about what to get rid of, figure out where to put things in a logical way and how to organize my time. When I go into the rooms that we worked on, the lack of clutter has taken a weight off my mind and has helped tremendously in increasing my productivity and creativity.

I met Hazel on two different days - the first day in my office setting (where I was moving from). I then met with her the second day in my home, where I showed her the various areas in the home that I would like to ultimately tackle and make better. I was actually a bit embarrased about the disorganized state of my home, and felt very instantly at ease with her - she did not make me feel bad at all. In fact, she had a natural knack for helping me to feel less concerned about how BAD it was and more focused on how we could improve on things in a relatively simple and quick manner. I still receive regular e-mails from her as a part of what was included in her service - regular information about her newsletter, and have even submitted a tip or two for her to incorporate into her newsletter. My personal experience with utilizing Hazel's professional service was an excellent one, and I would definitely recommend her. Granted, I have not utilized the services of a professional organizer other than her, so I don't have a comparison to make, but I honestly would not hesitate to go back to her again. In fact, I have a big project that I plan to do in the not too distant future, and I plan to enlist her help with it when I do!
Description of Work: Hazel provided an action plan for me to organize and prepare for reintegrating our offices for our business into our home. She came out to our house and looked at our situation here, including all of the rooms in the house, as well as the office and what needed to be moved from there. She then provided me with a specific action plan for how to go about incorporating the two offices into our household, as well as some specific pointers for how to clear out the clutter in my home closets and office at home. She spent several hours with me talking about the specific things we wanted to accomplish and providing ideas about how to go about that. She then drew up a specific written plan and issued that to me with her ideas and suggestions about how to proceed, as well as some general guidelines and plans for organizing my time and energy in my daily work life.
