One World Rug Care

A pipe broke in our house, all our rugs were soaked. I had used One World in the past so knew I could depend on them. They came quickly helped us pull the heavy rugs out and cleaned dried and restored them. I am so grateful to Michael Rose. He is a caring and considerate person and has excellwnt knowledge of fine carpets.

Our beautiful1950's vintage Persian rug was damaged on one end, had tassels on two ends that I had to re-braid often, and had never been cleaned. One World Rug Care repaired it, took the tassels off and cleaned it. It looks more beautiful than ever. They did a fantastic job and recommended a custom cut padding for it. The padding made a lot of difference in how it feels when you walk on it. The padding was a very reasonable price. When it came home it was better than we expected. Mike and his father are such experts and always willing to share history and knowledge about rugs and what to expect when you trust them with your rug. They are passionate and take pride in their business and it shows when they explaining the process. Their price was very reasonable for all the work they did. Excellent service, reasonably priced. Two rooms with beige carpets that were badly stained were cleaned so that the carpets almost looked new! They were also able to give me great information on three oriental rugs I own! Knowledgeable and great expertise aptly describe this service!

One World Rug Care is by far one of favorite places to do business. Always professional, thoughtful, and comprehensive in their offers of services. The owner, Michael, has more knowledge and passion about his job than anyone I’ve ever met, and that comes through in treatment of customers and the fine care and cleaning of the textiles we use in our home every day. He always goes above and beyond. I also really appreciate the company’s use of non-toxic but thorough cleaning methods and the environmentally friendly rug pads they offer; a product of their own design! Micheal Rose also let us know of some incredibly interesting history of one of the rugs we were left and knew nothing about. After cleaned by their team, it was so beautiful we decided to put it on the wall instead of back on the floor! BTW, they also make custom wall hangers, and install! Brilliant company and we highly recommend.

Excellent, just as I have come to expect in the past. The delivery included positioning the rug where it looked best, and offering suggestions for slight rearrangement of furniture for traffic flow as the rug was larger than the previous one. I have known Michael since his days at the large warehouse off Paseo and the I-25 frontage road. At his new and incredibly beautiful showroom in 2018, he hosted a benefit for the Alzheimer Association, an expression of the big heart and community spirit he and his family have. I will use his company again for anything related to rugs, carpets and cleaning. To say his entire family lives and breathe carpets is not an overstatement, thank you Michael, JK PS, thanks for the advice on the fringe, it makes the rug look very modern, like new.

My rugs came out as clean as new. And the pads they sell are better than any I've seen. Will definitely consider them again in the future.

I have used Michael’s service for five years, he has cleaned, and repaired special rugs in my house. I find it a joy to work with Michael, he is very open and honest, as well as do his very best to accommodate your every request.

I've used One World Rug Care a few times to clean my Turkish rugs. This time, I needed to clean one hanging on a wall in a room with 20-foot ceilings. Michael and his crew cleaned it beautifully and made a lovely wooden hanger that made the rug look much more finished than when a previous handyman hung it. Later, I had Michael back to adjust the hanging after some painters moved it and put it back up improperly. Michael went above and beyond to make it right, even removing old tack strips used to hang the rug previously, and cleaning up the wall. Highly recommend.

I have been continually impressed with One World's professionalism, friendly and knowledgeable service, and willingness to pick up and deliver rugs and blankets.

One World did a great job repairing the side rails on my 8x11 Karastan rug. The colors on my rug have variations within each color which results in an antiqued look. Because of this variation I was worried the repair would stand out. I definitely did not want a monotone band ruining the antique look. I opted for a full-wrap hand repair (versus machine surging) which came out beautifully. It looks like it's always been there. I'm very pleased and relieved. It's hard to find truly skilled artisans these days. From my experience, One World Rug Care is a gem of a find.

Michael arrived to pick up the rug for cleaning. He did a thorough inspection of the rug before taking it, discussing with me the condition of the rug and what cleaning it would require. He also gave me interesting information on the creation and care of rugs. He is obviously very knowledgeable regarding rugs and their care. He had the rug cleaned and ready to return to me in 7 days. He delivered back to my home, at a time that was convenient to me. I should note that he arrived on time for appointments, or called if he was running a little behind - something that I appreciate. The rug is absolutely beautiful. It feels so soft, clean and new. I'm absolutely thrilled.
