About as bad as you could expect. They did relocate the sprinkler heads, but left several of them standing about two inches above the ground (this is quite h****** your lawnmower!). No grass seed was put down and no fertilizer ever saw the light of day in our yard. We called the owner who promised to take care of everything. He didn't! We made several follow-up calls to his office but never found him available. He didn't return any call. We finally contracted with another company to take care of the sprinklers and are now contracting with yet another company to reseed the bare areas of our yard. All in all it was a complete waste of time and money. To make matters worse, we just received a form letter from this company saying "We hope you are happy with our professionalism and quality of work." We certainly were not. It went on to say that they had stopped by our property and noticed that some of our trees and shrubs needed pruning. That's a lot of hogwash! The vast majority of our trees and shrubs are in the backyard where entrance is denied by a gate. I imagine we're just one of hundreds who got the same form letter with our name hand-written above the body of the printed letter. It's too bad I didn't take the time to check out Angie's List before hiring these people. I'll know better next time.
Description of Work: Promised to move, adjust and lower sprinkler heads after we had added a rock area to our back yard. Then promised to reseed and fertilize areas where the grass had died due to lack of adequate water from the sprinkler system.

I have used this company in the past to do lawn aeration/power raking/fertilzation with satisfactory results. I had scheduled the same services for the afternoon of 5/10/13, for which I had taken off from work so I could be home. A young man arrived around 2:30 to tell me he was here to do aeration, and I said when I had called to schedule the appointment that I had asked for power raking and fertilization as well. (There shouldn't have been any confusion about this -- I specifically asked what the cost was for all 3 services on one lawn.) Since he only had the aeration machine with him, he informed me I would have to be rescheduled for the following Friday (5/17/13). I very politely asked if it could be in the morning so that I wouldn't have to waste another day waiting around for them. I was told they should be here between 8:00 and 10:30 in the morning. On Friday 5/17, by 11:00 a.m., nobody had shown up, so I called the office to ask where they were. The gentleman that answered the phone said I was next on their list and they should be here in "another hour or so." I waited until 2:30 in the afternoon and finally gave up. I am very busy and had things I needed to go do. I will never use this company again. The least they could do is call me and let me know they're running late. There are plenty of other companies in Albuquerque who perform the same services that would be happy to take my money, and be on time!
Description of Work: Nothing - no show.

I have used this company before for lawn and tree service. I had them plant new trees and shrubs, and update the sprinkler system. When I called because of unfinished work they promised to return and finish the job, but never did. Then two of the trees died and I never received a response after multiple calls and emails.
Description of Work: Planting new trees, fertilizing lawn, treating current plants and trees.

This is the first we have heard of this complaint. We respond to every problem promptly. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE HEARD OF THIS! We gave up psychic customer relations years ago.

I originally started out only wanting a bid to prune fruit trees - they accomplished this well, and sprayed them organically. The problems started when they said they could do everything else I needed. As a widow, I need all the help I can get. However, Stan promised way more than his crew could deliver. I had to constantly point out unfinished work and give guidance. If a company claims to be professional, they should act like it. They were not punctual, would leave early, different people would work on the same job, resulting in differing qualities of workmanship (on a fence, for example). One of the fences they built was so poorly constructed, it didn't last a year. I finally had to just fire them. Very disappointing, since I depend on outside services like this. Big talk, poor quality. Better to spend a bit more and get what you pay for.
Description of Work: Prune and organically spray fruit trees for bugs; aerate lawn, build fences, general clean up.

They did a really good job. Chris is really nice and knowledgeable. I've alreayd got my next appointment set up.
Description of Work: I've used them in the past. but most recently, they aerated and fertilized my lawn it. They also trimmed down my unhealthy-looking trees and applied some sort of fungicide on the stumps to help it fend off whatever was making them ill.

The crew and owner arrived to aerate our lawn for spring. That was done w/in 20 minutes (front and back). The additional price was to organically treat the spotty yard with seed and soil. One fellow barely hand sprinkled seed over only sparse areas and the 3 then proceeded to add what I thought was topsoil/decomposed earth product. This only sporadically covering some sparseness, not the whole lawn. What I saw were tree branches cut into 2-4" pieces and at least an inch wide! When I asked what was up, I was told not to worry...that they would decompose. It wasn't until after they left that I felt how hard the "earth" and branches were! I'm still raking that junk out of my yard 8 months later!!! The seed didn't take either. When I asked the follow up sprinkler crew for more seed, they shrugged and said it was up to the boss. He never called me back.
Description of Work: I responded to a home hangtag ad for lawn aeration and organic treatment. On 3/9/11, they arrived to aerate the lawn, seed it and add organic top soil ($321.33). On 3/21/11, 2 arrived to adjust the sprinklers ($160.67).
