The experience with Millers was great. The day I called to get an estimate, Matthew was able to come out right away, which I was impressed with. I scheduled the appt to have the work done and was very happy that Millers was on time and completed the job in the time frame they indicated. The workers were very friendly and professional and answered any questions I had. I was very pleased with the service I received. I have had some bad experiences with contractors and this was a breath of fresh air.

The estimator was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The men who came to do the job were friendly and worked quickly and did a great job. The only small thing that wasn't perfect was that I was told to call at 8 am the day of service to find out what time they were coming. That day at 7:15 am the crew was outside ready to do the install with no notice. It worked out fine, but would love better notice on the scheduling next time. Overall a great experience and great value. I will use them again and recommend them to others.

Paul was very professional and punctual. He was able to give an estimate within 1 business day. We went with another company because they were significantly cheaper, but they ended up to be more trouble than the savings were worth. Would choose Miller if we had to do it again.

Millers Insulation replaced damaged insulation under our manufactured home. After our pipes burst in February, we weren't sure how much of the insulation had been damaged. When we called Millers, they came out the next morning to estimate the job and we decided that they should quote it as if all of our insulation had been damaged. The estimate came to $1,270. They came about a week later to do the work and discovered that only a small portion of the insulation actually needed to be replaced. We had given them a $700 deposit, with the balance due upon completion of work. They actually refunded $275 of our deposit, making the total cost $425.These guys were prompt, thorough and honest and we would definitely use them again.

There was a small issue with the time they were suppose to be at the house at 7:30 am. When they weren't here by 8:15 I called to find out what happen. Apparently, there was an issue and my job was left off there schedule. However, they were able to get someone out to do the Attic Seal at 10 and he worked for 4 hours straight in the attic doing the attic seal. Then around 3:30 the truck to blow in the insulutation came and finished the job. We immediately noticed a huge different in the house. It was well worth the money. After the job was complete the office sent us and invoice and the rebate for the gas company filled out and ready to be sent in as well as information for our tax credit for next year. Overall it was a very good experience and we are very happy with their work. I would definately recommend them.

They were quick and efficient. The only thing is that the guys that came only spoke Spanish; so there was a little bit of language barrier. They were really polite but kind of messy. We still have insulation in our closet that I haven't had a chance to vacuum out because I have 3 young kids. They left the wrappings of the insulation in the front yard.

Very prompt. Answered all questions and made recommendations. Negotiated service date - my schedule is very busy. Reasonable billing schedule. No problems at all. Would recommend to anyone and have done so.

All these guys were professional from start to finish, they did everything they said they were going to do, we felt the price was good. And the effect in the house was immediate! We felt a big difference in the overall atmosphere and climate of the house, and it seemed quieter, too! We highly recommend Miller's Insulation & Fireproofing, Inc.

Accepted bid from Miller Insulation about a month before work was needed with stipulation that work would be done during a specific time frame. The job was expected to last one day minimum, possibly up to two days. As time for the work got closer, we confirmed the start date for the work several times with Bud, the estimator. The afternoon before the work was to be done, we called the office again to confirm arrival time the next day. A receptionist said that they would not be coming to our home the next day after all. Asked when Miller's planned to inform us of this, she had no answer. She also could not say for sure when they would come to do the job. This was quite inconvenient due to our work schedules. I called Bud and told him that we needed the job to be done according to our agreed upon date(s) as we had other work commitments after that. He told me that they were finishing another job and couldn't commit to our job until that one was finished. The following day, Miller finished their previous job and informed us that they would come to our home the next day (one day late). The two workmen who arrived seemed miffed that the access to our remodel area was a long way around the house and no one had told them about this. We found an agreeable solution - to bring the hose for the foam into the house through a window. Note, this did result in foam insulation on the metal-clad window, which is still there a year later as it is so difficult to remove. One worker did cut an electrical wire that was in the wall to be hooked up to some lights later on. Fortunately, instead of hiding the error, he told us about it, and my husband was able to replace the wire immediately. Other than the wire incident, the work went quite well. The two workmen did a pretty good job of cleaning up all of the foam bits left from trimming the foam flush with the wall studs. Upon removal of plastic sheeting, many staples were left protruding from framing, so we had to remove those later after they left. We also found a spot where there was apparently a gap in the plastic at one window sill, which a light coating of foam on the window frame and hardware which required some elbow grease on our part to remove. I did speak with the main office about this, and I asked that I only pay 90% until we were sure that the foam could be removed. The woman I dealt with was very willing to do so and only billed me the final 10% after calling to ensure everything was satisfactory.

I think that the estimator and the way they run the operation are both professional. However the people that did the work weren't accompanied by the estimator so that the two person team that did the installation were less formal. I was disappointed in terms of the scheduling. They couldn't even call me before they came out since they didn't carry cell phones. I was told that I just had to be there when they came; they only gave me a four hour window which was inconvenient as I work 8 hours a day. They did a good job and did it for a decent price. They also helped take care of a rebate that I was able to receive which defiantly made life easier for me.
