We worked with Chris Schlavin on the Templeton team and cannot say enough good things about him! He was so fast in responding to our phone calls and getting us the answers we needed while searching for and then purchasing our first home. We never had to pester him for information or ask a question more than once. We really felt like he went to bat for us and that we were never being taken advantage of when talking with the selling agents. We chose Matt after doing much research. We had narrowed it down to 2 agents listed here on Angie's List. We met with Matt and chose him based on these reviews as well as his unique marketing strategy. Our house was listed on August 27. An open house was held the following Sunday, August 30. Over 40 people attended the open house and by the following Tuesday we had 3 offers. We sold the house for list price! The paperwork has gone very smoothly and we closed on September 30, exactly 1 month after the open house was held! We highly recommend Matt and his team. From the staging he recommended to the follow through regarding the documents, this team is very professional and extremely competent. We highly recommend them!

We are remodeling a house with the goal of selling it in a few years. I called Matt and asked if he could give me some advice. He met with me within a few days of my call. We wanted to sell our house, which we were upside down in. We met with Matt and he gave us some very wise advice about how to sell our house. We wanted to start at a higher price to try to get as close as possible to what we owed on our mortgage. Matt was very patient and professional throughout the entire process. He was not pushy and did not pressure us into doing anything we didn't feel comfortable with. He was diligent in advertising our house and he showed it many times. Unfortunately our house was priced too high for the market (which was our decision and not Matt's). We reconvened on the price and we brought it down. We bought our house right before the market crashed so we were upside-down in our house about $50,000. When all was said and done we ended up having to go the short sale route; but Matt was so fantastic in tirelessly communicating with the bank. Matt continued to show our house and was diligent to communicate with other Realtors who were showing our house to potential buyers. Matt is a go-getter and takes pride in doing the best job that he can do, and works hard for his clients. Additionally, the team that works with Matt is outstanding - consistent and thorough in communication. Even when the process got tough, Matt and his team were pleasant and easy to work with. Matt was our third realtor after two pretty bad ones. He was so refreshing because he really cared about what we were saying and never made us feel rushed.
