 + -1 moreAs I've said, Mat is terrific. He also did a major remodeling job for my neighbors, and they were extremely happy. He's great, really.
Description of Work: I've entered a specific date & amount because it is required...Mat has performed services for me many times, and he is just wonderful. Big jobs and small, he is straightforward, dependable, his work is fabulous, I can't say enough good about him. Also, if he is of the opinion that there is a better way to do a job than for him to do it, he will tell you which speaks very well of him. He built a wonderful patio cover for my front door/patio area--people always comment on it & ask who did the work. He spent a lot of time with me figuring out the design, materials, etc.

 + -1 moreMat did a wonderful job on the gate. My old gate was falling apart and off the hinges. Mat built a completely new gate, painted the new gate and surrounding frame, attached it with new hardware, etc. It looks wonderful and works beautifully. Mat is always friendly, professional, prompt and dependable. The cooler issue came up at the last minute and Mat was very accommodating about getting it up and running for me. He is also innovative with great ideas and new ways to approach problems.
Description of Work: Construction of a new wooden gate for front entry. Also replaced electrical outlets in bedroom and repaired evaporative cooler for the season.

 + -1 moreMat has done many things for us over the last couple of years, including custom-building and installing new shelves in the pantry. His work is flawless, but what I value just as much is his judgment. If my ideas are hazy, he helps fill in the blanks with excellent suggestions; if my ideas are crazy, he explains why in a most tactful way, and has a "Plan B" to offer. He is the ultimate in competence and professionalism.
Description of Work: Mat built and installed a glass tile vanity top in my bathroom, and installed a new sink and faucet. He removed two bathroom mirrors, patched the walls and installed new mirrors; installed one wall and two ceiling light fixtures, installed a medicine cabinet in the bathroom and a pot hook in the kitchen;other small projects
