Masterson painting began in 1981 by James Masterson. After his passing, his wife Tracey, took over and continued to operate the company. Fast forward, and the business continues to be family owned. Operations are managed by Tracey and their son, Travis Masterson. This small mom & pop business has continued to provide high quality paint for all projects small to large. They continue to bring a collective 40 years’ worth of wisdom to your project. It’s amazing how the power of color and good design can improve your well-being. Description of Work: I bought a house in Snowheights recently which was in need of some work before I could move in. After a cleaning service did their work, I hired Masterson Painting to repaint almost all the interior of the house, except for the 1 3/4 baths, which I plan to renovate within a couple years--all the walls, all the trim. We left the ceilings as-is, except for the master bedroom. I chose a bright New Mexico flag yellow for most of the walls, except for the master bedroom, for which I chose forest green. A creamy bisque trim thoughout and a rust accent color for the fireplace in the study completed the plan. It is a 1421 sq ft house with a study, a dining area, a living room, a kitchen, a pantry, a hallway, and three bedrooms. Tracey Masterson, ably assisted by her son Travis, completed the work in 3 days--3 complete coats on the walls the first day, trim the second day, and the interface between them plus the fireplace on the third day. These two work fast and and well and are of a cheerful, breezy, and accommodating temperament. I heartily recommend this vendor.
