He came to the house and measured and seemed nice. Never called back with an estimate. Waste of both our time.

The concrete and grading project well fairly week. The contractor started and finished as planned. He came back to fix a problem. However, the finish work was not the best. The block wall construction - another story. The subcontractor or employee that supervised the project was less then professional. Always late, always telling a different story . . . I felt like he didn't understand what was covered in my contract with JK Marsh. The quality was fair. In general the company does ok work but does not communicate with employees, subcontractors or the customer. It was difficult to work with them. This project started June 20 and ended in September. The project was planned to be done in a month. I won't hire them again. I am still waiting for my copy of the city permit for the wall!!

The work went well and on schedule. During the digging of the trench for the wall foundation, the contractor had to cut through tree roots which was handled well. Also, the final cleanup and debris removal was very complete. Good follow through.

Project was started and finished within the 14 week time frame that was in the contract. Ivan (the head carpenter that ran our project) was a pleasure to work with. He cleaned up everyday and was on the job site from start to finish. The quality of the finished project is above what our expatiations were. JK Marsh stopped by to check on the project everyday and was always available to answer questions and deal with issues that arose during the process. We will be adding a RV garage next year and are defiantly going to hire Marsh Construction again.

This is the second project that Marsh Construction has done for us. J K was responsive to our wishes and schedule and started work on the date upon which we agreed. His carpenter, Ivan, did a wonderful, professional job. The price was fair and we are very happy with the finished product.

First, communication is lousy, the worst, so when I finally get an appointment, I am over the moon. In the meantime, (life always throws you a curve ball) between the time of the appt (2 weeks out), my sister in El Paso took a turn for the worse so I went down there to stay with her at the hospice until she passed. This was the Saturday before the appointment. Still, the roofer appointment was on my mind since it was so hard to get. So I call these guys, repeatedly (at least 4 times), and emailed too, by now I'm getting frantic since I don't know if they got my message to cancel. Finally, after about the fourth call I finally get through and the guy tells me that he didn't return my calls because he thought I had enough to worry about. That was certainly true but him not calling me back and me not knowing whether they got my cancellation request, created a great deal of stress that I didn't need. He actually created more stress and problems by not returning my call. Then, getting rescheduled took another two weeks. Then they were several hours late which caused another problem because I had a customer here so I couldn't see if they actually did the work. I'm guessing not since the leak is the same as it ever was ( all I saw was the inspector). And of course, I've messaged the company and of course, have not heard back -hence this review. Fix my roof guys!

They did a good job overall, but - they were very slow. They began the job in June and diidn't finish until late August. I've never had a room added to a house before so the slowness may be the norm for projects like this. But they would tell me they would be back the next week and I wouldn't see them until the week after that. The excuse always was that they were waiting for the inspector to come and review and sign off the work. They did good work - when they were here. Since I work, I couldn't always be here to let them in once the room was enclosed, so I gave them a key to the back door that they put on the room. The job was fiinished in late August and today is December 1st and I am STILL WAITING FOR THE RETURN OF MY KEY!! The last communication I had from the owner of the company regarding the return of my key was in OCTOBER when he promised to drop it off that day or the following one. I haven't seen him yet. I have e-mailed him three times requesting that it be returned, to just mail it to me, and I've gotten no response to the last e-mails. Whenever he asked me for payment of money so they could purchase supplies, I readily gave him a check without hesitation, so why is it so difficult for him to return my key? When the job was finished, I asked for his business cards so I could promote his company to anybody who asked me who did the work, but I will not do that now, nor will I hire them again if I have another job in the future.

Was hired to to a routine maintenance job on the roof. He told me that the roof needed to be replaced for 6K. I got three other roofers to go inspect and give me a bid and all said I only needed maintenance, not a new roof. I did not let Marsh do the maintenance.

OK. Appeared to do what was promised. What we were not happy with using this as an opportunity to upsell us an entire roof replacement or whole house parapet stucco repair. Our roof is only 8 years old and is certainly not in need of total replacement. We felt like we were paying $99 for a sales call.

They were fantastic from beginning to end. Punctual, nice, detailed and meticulous. We are extremely happy with the end result!

The work was very well done by his employees with him supervising closely with no need to because his employees were so good and knew what they were supposed to do, how to do it and got it done. Marsh is a great individual and has excellent employees working for him. Great company.

My only complaint is that he is a hard man to get a hold of. However, the re-roof went off with out a hitch and it was done quickly, and he did it with a very competitive bid. He also shared so valuable information on how to deal with our insurance company

JK is very professional -- kind and calm and does exactly what he says he will do. He came on site daily to check the status of the work and sometimes twice a day. He was 100% responsive to our concerns and corrected every issue we pointed out. Great company - great owner!

am in the middle of a lawsuit and needed a full bid for the damages on my house. He promised me a bid by the end of the week. He then extended that and said that the bid would be done by Tuesday. That of course never came and I am still waiting on the bid. I don't like it when businesses promise they will have something done by a certain time and not stick to their word. He has not called me or texted me back to return my calls. Because of him I had to extend my lawsuit another 2 weeks because he couldn't get his estimate done on time. I don't know the type of work he does nor will I ever find out. Angies list rated him very high, and that rating was a big disappointment. It is now hard to trust Angies List from this experience.

JK Marsh and his worker arrived at my home at 0800 as we had agreed upon. The worker trimmed back the eaves and then reconstructed the eaves to blend in with the roof line. He installed new fascia boards and drip cap and roof shingles. Then the worker painted the eaves even though that was of art of the contracted work. After he was done he did an excellent job of cleaning up the work area. The job was done well and in a reasonable amount of time. I would recommend JK Marsh construction to anyone wanting a reasonable priced quality job completed. .

Jim was very thorough & helpful but his price was high - about $15,000 higher than others. We went with another company. He was very prompt in getting the bid back to us however.

We asked them to bid on a workshop,which they did in a timely and professional manner. Although we decided not to undertake the project, we would consider Marsh for future work.

They were very timely about it. We chose to get a quote from them because we liked their website. They were very nice, but they talked for so long we had to ask them to end the interview. They seemed very knowledgeable.

They did excellent work. Their workmanship was great. They did a couple things that weren't on their list, like power-wash, this was around the swimming pool. They power-washed the walkway around the swimming pool, they just did great work.

Vast majority of work done over three days, all of the work was precise; workers cleaned up each day and worked really steady at the tasks. From the design to the construction Marsh Const. did an excellent job. I will use them in the future.

Outstanding. The workers were great. They came on time, stayed on the job until finished completely, cleaned up after they finished the work and took all garbage with them. A great pair of guys doing the work. No wasted time on the job. Very little chit-chat on the job and they worked together very well. A great job.

They did this work over several months. We have an old, challenging, home, and they did a superb job. Much of the work was done while I was out of town, and I had no problems with them doing the work without close supervision.

JK is a nice guy and has good workers. Isaac did the masonry work very well and quickly, he & another worker also did a good job on the gates, and exterior painting although, some of the paint was not applied thickly enough in places. There were a few small issues after the work was completed and payed for, and JK took care of them. I've also had JK do work for me before this job, and very satisfied with the results. He is definitely a contractor who stands behind his work in an ethical manner.

Excellent, Issac is an excellent employee and a great stone mason. He put up a perfect wall and sub wall for use. He redid the plaster covering on our kitchen ceiling and did it perfectly. Everything was done in a timely fashion, quickly and they cleaned up their mess at the end of each day.Very little time was wasted BS'ing with him and his helper. They both worked very hard and constantly. Great pair. Mr. Marsh is a very nice man to do business with, poiite, accomadating and willing to have his crew do most anything. Good company to do business with. Very trustworthy and honest.

They did a very nice job. They are good and my husband seems to b satisfied. I didn't deal with them, so I couldn't tell you since I was recuperating from an operation, but my husband seemed pleased. I think he would hire them again. I had a problem with their punctuality but I know there might have been reasons why since the boss was doing a lot of jobs at one time.
