+ -1 moreI've been using Pete Lovato as my custom cabinet maker for 11 years. Every piece has been designed by me with input from Pete. The kitchen cabinets are more like furniture, since there is no toe-kick and they are on legs. They re also SOLID wood, not particle board. Pete's crew used my drawings to build the pieces. Once installed, there were some design flaws (my fault) and Pete came up with perfect solutions to each problem. For instance, the sink I purchased did not fit perfectly & the granite contractor couldn't proceed with the installation. Pete was able to devise a plan to adjust the height of the cabinets to accommodate the problem within 24 hours! Other jobs that Mariah Creations has done for me: bedside tables, huge bookcases for my library, a 9 foot tall china cabinet, media cabinets (TV, stereo equipment) and custom screen doors. I would recommend this company for any wood project. Additionally, Pete's prices are more than competitive. Another company gave me a quote that was almost double Pete's cost for building & installing approx. 33 linear feet of kitchen cabinets.
