I had very high hopes.. Never contacted me. Tried calling them no response.

I was a fan for years, but I'm so dissapointed now. After they didn't show up 3 appointments in a row in November, they finally came out and charged a huge amount for what they now call "a small fix." I had just left town long term when they fixed the furnace. I asked about the guarantee and by phone they said 1 year. I told them to go ahead since I was out of town and I trusted them. They replaced my programmable thermostat for a super cheap one that won't shut off. I only noticed now that I'm back here to see the work. The flame is on a full, high blast and the house is sweltering, it won't turn off. Tenants didn't notice during the winter but now it's been burning huge amounts of gas even though the thermostat has been off 2 months. Now Tony and Mike say it's only a 90-day guarantee "for such a small fix" which cost me $700. I'll have to pay weekend prices to have them fix their faulty work. I should have gone with the company my tenants found, the estimate was way lower. But I trusted Marathon and wanted them to do the work since I was out of town. They didn't stand by the warranty that the woman told me about on the phone and they will never have my business again.

Contacted marathon mechanical regarding a water leak at the kitchen faucet that had already caused some major damage to cabinet and flooring. They were very prompt to answer the initial phone call and advised they have someone call me back to schedule a service. After 2 days and no response I went with a different plumber. To this day no one ever called back from Major mechanical . I instead contacted J.C. & E. Plumbing and they were very responsive sending someone out almost immediately and resolving the problem by the next day.

My husband was the one who was home when they were installing, and I also met them when they came out to give us a bid. I have four different people they gave us the most reasonable bid, and they were also willing to relocate the system instead of trying to put the central air conditioner on the roof. My husband was amazed at how quickly and quietly they worked and they sid it all in ONE DAY! I was amazed and impressed at how well they cleaned up after themselves. We have an amazing central air system, a constant, even temperature, and the system has worked flawlessly for two months now. The guy is courteous, very nice to work with. We don’t want to use anyone else in the future.

My hat's off to Marathon Mechanical for the great plumbing work they did on our major master bathroom remodel. They installed all of the plumbing and fixtures including a stand-alone soaking bathtub with a floor mounted faucet, plumbing for a much larger double sink vanity and rerouted plumbing for a new shower system they also installed. Before the remodel our master bathroom was very slow in getting hot water and we'd have to waste water waiting for the hot water. To solve this problem they ran new plumbing lines all the way from the water heater to the master bathroom and installed a circulating pump so now we get hot water almost instantly. A special thanks to the owner, Mike Covino and his lead Tech, Joe and his crew. They were all very professional and on time. We highly recommend Marathon Mechanical for all your heating, cooling, and plumbing needs!

The job is done for my rental property and it is quite far from me as it is in other state. The job is done good according property manager.

There was a problem with my roof that they made an error and I ended up getting water that leaked into my roof. So they ended up doing all of the drywall themselves for no cost for all of the damage they caused. I used to get a leak out of that duct before I got the work done and I haven't had it since. That was part of what they were supposed to do. The duct work was the return from the air conditioning/ heater that is on the roof and it goes into the house. When I bought the house there was a slight leak in the connection from the duct to the roof. It wasn't it a huge problem but it was enough of a problem. I lived with it for about a year but I ended up wanting to get it done. What happened was when they replaced the duct one of their workers didn't seal up around the duct work and then it rained and that is what damaged the the rest.

Just moved into a new home and the water heater needed replacement quickly. Mike was very accommodating and squeezed us in on Friday so we wouldn't have any problems over the weekend. The two plumbers who installed the heater were personable and professional and did a good job with the installation. We also used Marathon for a subsequent problem with a clogged drain in March 2016. Squeezed us in the schedule that day also since he knew we couldn't use the kitchen sink. Same professional service when Joe came to unclog the drain. Overall, quick, competent and reasonable price. I would use them again and recommend them.

Guest bathroom toilet was leaking pretty severely after an influx of houseguests. Got a very quick appointment from Marathon. It was necessary to replace the whole thing since the tank was cracked. I let them know that financially I couldn't pay a whole lot for the new unit. They were very considerate and found a nice new unit for an excellent price and installed it in a short time. Advised me on repairing the damage to wall and floor caused by the leaking. Very professional and pleasant. I called Marathon because the previous summer they had helped with another major ($1200) plumbing problem originating in garage.

We heard water running, troubleshot and verified main water line had a leak in the middle of the yard, 20 inches down with a large tree covering the waterline. Repair on a 40 year old water line not practical.Marathon brought in big equipment and trenched 50 feet approx 2-3 foot deep around the big tree.. Installed Aqua-Pex and shutoff at house. They were very care full not to damage the big tree.Covered up line and water system up and running on the same day. There were a few problems encountered along the way and each one was resolved in a timely-professional manner.The crew were great guys that stayed focused and made positive results. The support from the office was top notch. I Would definitely utilize Marathon Mechanical Services again and RECOMMEND their Business. The cost of the Job was significantly priced lower than other businesses quoting for the Job. I Feel that I got real value for my money.

My wife discovered water in cabinet under sink and I called to have come out. Joe showed up in quickly. I was impressed with the speed on a weekend. He located the leak in the hose in the faucet and that we needed a new faucet. Joe and Carlos came by on Monday and installed the new faucet. I would recommend this outfit for any plumbing issues.

I was very impressed with how quickly Marathon got to my house. I left a message and within 20 mins Mike (the Owner) called me back. I had two very polite men arrive at my door within the hour. They were able to identify and fix the problem within a few hours. Carlos and Carlos were very professional and efficient! If I ever have a plumbing need in the future they will be my first call.

He arrived immediately after my call. He fixed it very fast, and was very professional!

I thought he was very efficient, very prompt and had a feeling that he had a lot of integrity as a repair person.

It went very well. But it cost more than I expected.

I called Mike hoping he would be able to come out this week, he came out same day. Always professional, kind and prompt.

I only have one bathroom so when it's out of commission it's a big problem. Even though they were booked solid for several days, they were able to work me into their schedule the next day. They arrived on time. In addition to snaking the tub, they fixed the leakey faucet as well. No complaints.

Install was quick and well done. However, the brand/model of AC/Furnace installed (Rheem) did not allow for usage of a replaceable electrostatic microparticle filter. The system came with a washable lint filter that did not filter pollen. As an allergy sufferer, this was an unacceptable outcome for me. I had not thought to ask about this beforehand because I had never seen a furnace/AC that DID NOT accept a replaceable filter. The owner of Marathon assured me that a solution could be developed that would allow usage of a replaceable filter. However, it was difficult to schedule a return date as he was extremely busy. Eventually, he did come back and alter the installation so that a replaceable microparticle filter could be inserted. I am very happy with the final result. Fortunately the spring pollen subsided very shortly after I moved in (purchased the home, new furnace and A/C installed prior to moving in), and the system was modified to take the replaceable filter prior to start of the Summer weed season. I would highly recommend Marathon Mechanical for furnace/AC installations, with the caveat that customers should make clear at the start if they suffer from seasonal allergies, and thus desire pollen filtration.

They answered the phone right away when I called to make an appointment, and they were able to get out to the house the next day. (It wasn't an emergency, but nice to have easy access.) They called me 15 minutes before the appointment time and advised me they were on their way. They arrived promptly and finished the entire process within 30 minutes. Friendly and Fast!

It was a very good experience. They were prompt and did it right the first time. They were professional and courteous. They did good consultation. Their price was competitive and I got my money's worth. They cleaned up and everything was good.

The switch over went smoothly. We had scheduled it earlier but then an unexpected freeze was forecasted so we canceled. It was nice that they we able to accommodate us once the weather warmed up. Nice folks that get the job done. We will use them again.

He arrived on time and was very professional in looks and manner. He disconnected the furnace and went on the roof to work on the swamp cooler. When he was done he tested it to make sure it was working properly. He found a leak so he went to get the parts he needed and returned in a timely manner. When he was done I asked questions about replacing the furnace and he gave advice and ideas. A very good experience for sure.
