I had gotten a referral to Maid to Shine (Robin Nolan). When I spoke to her, she was passionate about cleaning, which I liked very much, and said she was detailed, too. (Not as detailed as she claims, however, missing obvious spots.) She canceled twice, stating once she had been out late the evening before and was too tired. (At her age, her maturity for running a business was lacking.) She was not observing well, and ended up breaking 2 items (I brushed one off, but wanted reimbursement for a large item, which she never reimbursed me for). Then, one scheduled day, four months after hiring her, she just didn't show up, no call either, leaving me in a lurch with guests coming. I tried 4 times to contact her, thinking something bad had happened, but got no response. Nada. After noting she was active on social media (and she hadn't been in an accident, etc.), I assumed she just didn't want to clean my house. Our last contact was several months ago, and I will not hire her again.
