We've been real estate investors for 20 years. We have properties that we require services like this (unstopping a drain), and need that rush service from time to time, so we have a lot of experience with this type of issue. 330.00 to unstop a drain is excessive. We've used roto-rooter for the same service at that same property, with time spent being about the same, and they were 150.00. Know your market folks! Gouging those with an emergency is bad business.

Took a lot of business calls while he was working on my project.

Work performed was satisfactory. Charged me nearly double what was quoted, which I paid under protest. Robert eventually realized there was a better way to do business fairly and refunded the amount overcharged.

When Rob 1st came he advised me it would cost between $5-700 .00. So far it has cost me $731. I have an open hole in the front yard but he did replace the hand pump. Charge of $375. too dig the hole in the front yard (3x4x2),

The cost of the repair was four times the cost of the phone quote. Would not have been so bad if we had been informed immediately once he realized the cost would be much more. The resultant hourly charge was much higher than competitors. Because of the way the repair was done I can't close my wall back up. Not even sure if what he did is to code.

Not sure about capabilities as an electrician. He left an exposed "live" wire and we had to ask him to return to make the system safe. However, he was prompt and courteous, probably a competent plumber if you don't need help with the electrical control system.
