Description of Work: I wanted to buy a high-quality (but not audio-phile expensive) home theater speakers and CD/DVD player and a friend directed me to Hudson's for the B&W brand (they're the sole NM dealer). I'm a novice in the category (haven't bought equipment for 10+ years), but Charley and the other sales people weren't intimidating. They asked what my needs were and recommended based on that. They shared in my joy at having a GREAT new system, and set up an install date. There was one damper: when the owner tried to sell me a high-end remote, and wasn't happy that I passed. He told me the one my friend advised me to get was terrible, and that no one likes it (I have it now, and it's fine) - his attitude was almost enough to make me return everything I just bought. The only other bad experience came when I wanted to change the install date - I was told only the owner could do that, but he didn't return 2 calls I put in to his cell - after leaving 2 messages with the sales guy, who then told me to call his cell. I stopped in the store to get resolution - and walked out a recovered customer. The installer was there - he shook my hand, introduced himself and we arranged another install date. I was told the owner isn't very good at returning calls. Or maybe he was still sore because I didn't buy his remote. But the installation went well and I ended up buying two more speakers (rears) - and the installer even came back the next week to be sure they were set up properly, and made a couple other adjustments. The price: not inexpensive, but the value for that price is exceptional. And the installation charge was very reasonable, especially given the expertise they offer. I will likely go back when it's time to upgrade the TV - but I'll definitely avoid the owner.
