Description of Work: Whole bedroom electrical circuits went out. When I explained to him what happened, he was able to spot which outlet was causing the trouble. He removed the melted outlet box and replaced it with a new one.

This man is a real “Pro from Dover,” he is technically proficient and thoroughly honest and reliable. I had him look at some other electrical work that is needed in our 45+ year old home. I have every intention of having him complete this additional work as well. Mr. Libo is a Veteran, he is competent and does not leave loose ends for others to follow up on; he is absolutely technically proficient and his personal integrity is beyond reproach! + 1 moreI hired Victor Libo back in November of 2016.. I was desperate to solve an electrical problem in my house. All my GFI's would periodically flip and I would have no electricity in my bathroom outlets, nor my front and back porches. I had gone through 4 or 5 electricians trying to solve the problem; spent alot of money on the wrong solutions, all to no avail. Victor came; it took him about 3 hours to figure it out, but he did it. Turned out to be a relatively simple solution. He is a great diagnostic electrician; He dogs the problem until he figures it out. That cost was $336.00 I was so impressed and happy that he solved my problem, in May of 2017, I decided to ask him to install quite extensive backyard lighting using the Volt landscape lights (his suggestion). It wasn't cheap but it has transformed my backyard. It took him the entire day to dig the trenches, run the electrical lines and install the lights, and he spent alot of time helping me design where the lights would be positioned. I am very pleased with the result. Victor is my go to electrician from now on! Landscaping costs: materials and work: $2,500.00

Description of Work: A ceiling light stopped working in the mother-in-law quarters bathroom, not an emergency, except to my 88 year old mother. Lester adjusted his schedule and came out and fixed it be rewiring the swirch (my explanation of the work) within a couple hours of the call.

+ 1 moreVictor did a great job helping us out with our electrical needs. We were able to find a good lighting solution for my mother, and new lights for our pantry. Victor was prompt, professional, courteous and had lots of great input on how to provide adequate lighting in new areas. He also assisted my brother in swapping out some problematic light receptacles at his house. I was quite pleased with the work, and would highly recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: New wiring in pantry and closets. Installed ceiling fan and provided separate light/fan switches. Fixed problem with smoke detector circuits.

Not only is he a great electrician, when the framer backed out on framing the new stairs to the basement, Victor said he would help me build the stair. He built the stair, I just played assistant. Just like his electrical work, the stairs are perfect!

+ 1 moreIt went bad and you, at Angies List, need to pay close attention to this guy because despite getting many good reviews, he also has many bad reviews and my experience was consistent with those other customers who gave him a bad score. I think he is a scammer and if he sees that there is a "big project" in the future, perhaps he works it. But if it is a small project, I think he wants to blow it off. Also, I noticed in his responses to bad reviews that he is very defensive and takes no responsibility for those bad reviews. He ought to offer to make amends. He is a joke in our house.
Description of Work: I had paid for the $99.00 special, to have some minor work done. I had a light fixture that needed to be replaced in a closet area and had the fixture for installation. Libo looks at it and seems completely perplexed by it. He "hemmed and hawed" for a while, checked to see if there was juice to the socket and ended up doing nothing. I mean, he's an electrician isn't he? I also had an issue with an outdoor light, which he removed to check and then never fixed it, nor returned it to the spot where it was removed and did nothing. So, the fixture is still sitting on my outdoor table having not been fixed. He told me he would provide an estimate for some additional work and I never heard from him again. I think Libo uses the Angies List $99.00 deal for two hours to get other work and never intends to complete any work for the two hour time frame. He literally just blew off the two hours of work. I couldn't figure out what he was doing. I mean he just seemed to wander around and seemed lost. I wasn't sure if he was mentally ok or what, because it was weird. I had two very simple requests and he could not deal with either of them. Neither issue dealt with construction problems or anything--it was purely electrical. So, no work was done at all. I really should get my money back because he did nothing.

+ -1 moreIt went great. I was fortunate that owner Victor Libo happened to have an opening the afternoon of the day I called. He came over in an hour. He verified the problem (an overheated, worn-out receptacle). He replaced the receptacle and also the power cord to the dryer. The power cord also showed overheating damage. He had the parts he needed on his well-equipped trailer. He also checked the 100 amp panel to made sure the lugs serving the dryer were tight. Victor was friendly, cordial, and a pleasure to have in the house.
Description of Work: Replacement of a 240 volt electric receptacle for the clothes dryer, and the dryer power cord.

Much to my surprise, Victor scheduled an appointment a couple of days before Christmas, definitely arrived on time, did the work and left everything clean. He told me to call an appliance person for the range, but then he managed a repair that allowed me to use all four burners for Christmas cooking. I could not have been happier; everything was done before Christmas guests arrived! Victor's charge was extremely reasonable. I have already recommended Victor to a neighbor, and I will call him again for any electrical work I need. I recommend Victor and Libo Electric without hesitation. Thanks, Victor!

Again responsive professional and very reasonably priced.

+ 0 moreI am very happy with the work performed by Victor. He was prompt, well versed in what I needed done, very pleasant, but most of all he was excellent at what he does. Victor is someone I would not hesitate to call again, and I would highly recommend him. Libo Electric is the first contractor I used after joining Angie's List and I am very please, satisfied, happy etc... with Libo Electric. After Victor left I plugged into an outlet (not the same one Victor worked on) and the breaker shut off, it would not reset. I immediately phoned Victor's cell phone and relayed what happened. He came back asap. He investigated the problem and determined it was a separate issue unrelated to his work however, he did the necessary fix at no charge. I absolutely think Victor Libo is the best person for your job.
Description of Work: I needed a ceiling mounted chandelier installed. As a second phase I need some ceiling fans worked on. The fans are phase 2 of the project. When I can better afford the work.
