Mr. Libo came a little earlier than the appointment time, which worked out fine for me. He was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. Originally I was just going to have him replace 2 of my outdoor motion sensor lights, with two new ones I had purchased. I asked that if there was any time 'remaining', from the time I had paid for, if he would also be able to replace another outside light with a "Dawn to Dusk" light I had purchased. Though it took a little longer than the time we had scheduled for him to replace the two lights, he did not charge me for the extra time to install the third light. When the two motion sensor lights were replaced, there was a gap between the stucco and the light fixture on one of them. He told me all I needed was some silicone caulking to fill the gap, and to go around both lights with the silicone seal. He didn't have the correct silicone with him, so he told me what to get. The next day I called him because I got confused with all the different types of silicone available (and the guy I asked at Lowe's was NO help at all!), and I asked Mr. Libo if he would be able to come by when he was in this area of town again, and get the type of silicone that was needed, and seal the lights for me. I was concerned because of all the rain we have been getting. Mr. Libo came out today, on a Saturday, and sealed the two light fixtures. I appreciate that he took the extra time to install the third light I had, and also to come out on a weekend to seal the two fixtures that needed it. I would definitely use Libo Electric again if I needed additional electrical work done on my house.

The service went very well. I paid an additional fee to have them install an outdoor electrical outlet. One technician came out for the job and completed the service in about 2-3 hours. He was very personable and professional. I had no problem contacting the company or scheduling the service. The only problem was the high price that I ended up paying for the service.

To fix the GFI problem, he changed the plug, found the possible problem was a jumble of extension cords connected to the landscape lights which were laying on the dirt. He hung up the transformer and wrapped the cords to keep them from sitting in water. He tested all his work before moving on to another job. This was done on the $99 2-hr deal. The next job was running the electrical from the guest bedroom thru the closet to the bathroom as I needed an extra plug in the bathroom. He had to cut into the drywall in the bedroom, the closet and the bathroom. However he was very careful with his measurements to cut out only the least amount of drywall as needed. He was very careful to explain the hazards of plugging in a hair dryer into this plug, which I appreciated. This part of the job cost me $73. He referred me to a drywall contractor who is coming in to take care of patching the drywall. which is a fairly small job. I've also got another job for him to run power from the living room thru the wall to add another electrical plug to the backyard so I don't have to connect so many cords into the one plug that I have in the backyard. He had another appointment after mine, so I will schedule this new appointment soon to get this new job done. I also thought I wanted a fan in my bathroom, however after he explained all that it entailed and the cost, I decided not to have this done. I only have good things to say about Victor Libo He was extremely professional, He was very through in looking for the problem before he started working. He explained everything to me as he was working on each job, and I really appreciated all the information he passed on to me. I would definitely recommend Libo Electric to my friends. .

Victor Libo is the guy you want working on your house here in Albuquerque, he was very professional and the quality of work was exceptional. Our home is a very old adobe/flat roof home that presented that presented some challenges to Mr. Libo, and he met the challenges with ease while providing us with a sense of safety now that our badly out-of-code wiring was addressed. If your from Albuquerque, give Mr. Libo a call - this is definitely a company that reflects quality, integrity and good values.

I contacted Victor before I purchased the Big Deal Coupon to get an estimate of how long it would take to install a chandelier and 2 ceiling fans. Victor contacted me within an a couple of hours to discuss what I wanted done and approximately how long it would take. I purchased the Big Deal Coupon 2 hours for $99. Victor contacted me again almost immediately to set up an appointment. He showed up on time and was ready to work. He assembled and installed 1 chandelier and 2 ceiling fans in 2 and a half hours. He was friendly, professional and extremely hard working. Victor is the company owner and does all the work himself, he doesn't send someone else to do the job. I am extremely pleased with the work he did. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional electrician. I will definitely use him again for any future electrical work.

We had purchased an Angie's Deal for the work -- an electrician for 2 hours. Before he started the work and after we had explained what we wanted him to do, he asked if we wanted to stick to the two hours or to complete the project if it went longer than 2 hours. We said that we wanted the project completed. It did go slightly over the 2 hours, even though he did not waste any time. The additional cost was very reasonable. We feel confident the replaced outlet and switches are in good working order now. The new outdoor lights look great and have worked well. Victor was a pleasure to work with; he was very personable and professional. The next time we need electrical work we will call Libo Electric & Construction.

The job went perfectly, he knew what he was doing and made it look so easy. He also cleaned up the debrie and made sure everything was as I wanted before he left. I would use him again without any hesitation and highly recommend him. This was a pleasant experience.

I know that this will not be an appreciated review, but I want to be fair and accurate to my experience. I paid for the $99 big deal from Libo Electrical and Construction. This was for up to 2 hours worth of work. What I needed was my doorbell fixed (my top priority) and for someone to figure out why the past two light fixtures put in the same area both stopped coming on. These seemed like two fairly easy jobs, but I thought I'd give my husband a break by purchasing the "big deal." The gentleman came to the condo I own and rent out to my son on time and as scheduled. No problem there. He looked at the doorbell and sent me a message that he could assist if-and recommended that-I get a Wireless doorbell. He also told me that the fan worked on my light fixture, but the lights didn't, so I probably needed a new fan. He was there a 1/2 hour or a little less and asked if there was anything else. I"m sorry, but it does not take an electrician to plug in a Wireless doorbell as long as you can use doublestick tape and a wall socket. On the fan, I needed to know why light fixtures put in the same spot kept failing. He agreed to come back again if I bought a new doorbell chime as he thought that might fix my doorbell problem. He also said he would test the voltage on the fan. He suggested I get a new fan to replace the other new fan (easy work that I could do myself), but I did not want to do that because that does not tell me what the problem is. The second time he came back, he tested the voltage, said I had a low voltage problem and he did not fix low voltage. He also said that I would need a drywall guy to help put in the doorbell. As this company is called LIBO ELECTRICAL AND CONSTRUCTION, I'm confused as to why he can't fix a voltage problem (electrical) or do drywall (EASY construction work!) I'm giving a C because he did come back twice and on time. HOWEVER, I would have preferred that on the first visit, he assess the needs of the job. Figured out exactly why the doorbell didn't work the first time (test the voltage then). With the fan, same thing. It had not been anywhere close to two hours, so why not check the voltage then? Then tell me exactly what needs to be done and how long it would actually take to fix it. Subtract that from the two hours I already paid for to get a fair price. Let me decide if I'd like the work done, not decide we were done with the "up to two hours." My recommendation is, if you need a handyman to replace a light fixture with another light fixture (easy) or other similar handyman type work, then go with Libo because you will likely get the job done and done well. If you need true electrical work that may also require construction, you need to go with a larger company.

It went great. He came out for an estimate and discussed the possible scenarios which might crop up once opening the ceiling. Although he had estimated the work could take up to 4 hours, he was done in about 2.5 hours. Afterward I had several holes in the wall and ceiling which needed to be repaired, and he recommended someone in town who turned out to be fabulous as well. For any additional electrical work I may need in the future, I will be sure to hire him again. Very pleasant and interesting guy too.

It turned out great. The one tech that they sent fixed what I needed. I had them hang a chandelier and take down a fan light.

Victor Libo, of Libo Electric & Construction, was on time, polite, professional and worked very efficiently to install 2 ceiling fans in my home, along with a wall timer for my outside lights. From the initial phone call to the actual installation and final bill, Victor stayed true to his word and my budget! (I bought the 2hrs @ $99 coupon Libo Electric advertised.) Victor even advised me on a future lighting project & a remodel project I have been considering and had both wonderful and helpful ideas! I'm looking forward to using Libo Electric & construction again and am so happy to have an electrician I can count on!

Excellent service. We used his coupon deal and he promptly emailed with available times and we set up a time that was pretty quick. He worked with my wife in the house on wiring and issues and the overall experience was great. He is very thorough and professional. My husband and I decided to tackle a Freddie Mac foreclosure. We were in it less than a year when I discovered I had a torn Achilles tendon. This meant that for months there would be no ladders, getting on the floor, yard work, or driving. Progress came to a halt. My frustration increased as I looked at all the work that I would normally do so easily. For Mother?s Day my insightful daughter sent me the funds for an ?Angie?s List Fiesta? of helpers to lend a hand until I was completely mended. I perused the Angie?s List Big Deals and purchased two hours of electrical work from Libo Electric. Victor Libo confirmed my purchase almost immediately and was able to schedule the work on one of my suggested dates. He arrived 30 minutes early, but not before he called asking if that would be convenient for us. His warm, congenial personality was immediately evident as he handed us a couple of business cards and proceeded to confirm exactly what work we needed done. He had a ceiling fan installed in no time. He did some sleuthing and quickly determined why we had been unable to make our garage door opener work when it was plugged into its ceiling outlet. And, because his expertise allowed him to swiftly finish the two chores I had originally planned on having done, he had time remaining to install two new switches on ceiling closet lights. Before he left, we indicated that prior to next summer we intend to replace evaporative coolers with refrigeration units. He outlined what electrical work he would have to do and gave us a recommendation for a company to install the units. Mr. Libo is a pro who we can confidently recommend, and the best Mother?s Day gift I ever received.

Called prior to appointment which gave me an opportunity. to crate my dog. Arrived on time and performed the requested service. Mr. Libo was professional and personable. I would use his service again.

As noted above, the light fixture was a bit of a challenge, but my husband and Mr. Libo figured out a "fix" that resulted in the light fixture getting installed, working well, and looking just great. The fan, too, is well installed and working well with the optional remote that Mr. Libo also installed. He came on time, focused on the work at hand, kept us informed of his progress, and completed the work in a reasonable amount of time. The extra charge for the additional time it took to solve the problem was reasonable. We would not hesitate to buy another Big Deal, and may well call Mr. Libo if additional electrical work is needed.

Mr. Libo was punctual, polite, very reasonable, and willing to crawl into our attic to the other side of the house where the fixture was located. It was quite dusty in there, and we found a mask for him to wear. I helped him locate the fixture from inside the house to the attic, and he had me turn on and off the fuses as necessary. He was fast, efficient and made it work right. As this is an older home which has never been updated, he showed me the insulation of the wiring which was going bad - it is cloth, and it is melting away. He advised getting the main circuit panel moved outside from inside as per code. Mr. Libo was highly professional and I was very satisfied with his work. I will be having him back to do more work as finances allow.

Everything went very smoothly and the lights were installed just the way I wanted them. Very professional and a very nice man.

This is the fourth time I have had Victor do work for me. This time he upgraded my electrical to a 200 AMP service. Since I have underground electric service it required a lot of digging and cleaning up when it was done. He worked very hard to make sure the back yard looked as neat as possible before he left. Victor has always been on time, or early, and has never overcharged me or tried to over sale me on anything. He?s very knowledgeable about his work and very efficient. He went to a lot of trouble to make sure my electric service was only off for a short period. It would have been easier for him to have left it off for 8 hours or so but he found a way to get me back on line in a couple of hours. I recommend him highly. He is very busy so give him some time to get back to you but he will defiantly be worth the wait.

In a few words, WE LOVED working with Victor. He is professional, meticulous and his works speaks for itself. We bought a house built in 1970's in Albuquerque, and the kitchen needed a complete overhaul as the cabinetry and appliances were all original. Being somehow DIY type of guys we decided to start removing the cabinets, three layers of flooring, soffits and install the can lights ourselves to get the kitchen ready for the new cabinets. Once we started removing the cabinets we realized that the drywall was in very bad shape and once we removed more of the drywall we discovered that all the electrical cables ran across the soffits and there was a mess of cables leading to the main service box (also dating 1970's). At that point we stopped our intentions of DIY and contacted various contractors to have an estimate to finish the kitchen. Most of the contractors did not show up, never returned our calls, or took a long time for them to get their quotes. Once we got their quotes there were ridiculously high. We wasted about 3 weeks on this process. We found LIBO ELECTRIC AND CONSTRUCTION information on Angie's List and contacted him to explained what we needed to do. He was very busy at the time but told us that if we were interested to work with him he could get into the place a week later to take a look to prepare his estimate. He was right on time, and as we were not available we talk over the phone to explain what we needed to do. He had his estimate two days later and once we gave him the go and have the deposit cleared he started working the next Monday, about 2 weeks after the first visit to our place. We also needed to install a water line for the fridge and a pot filler, and move the gas line, hence he recommended us a great plumber that took care of these at a very reasonable price. He also recommended us a drywall guy that finished the work, placed the texture over the walls and painted the whole kitchen, also at a very reasonable price. At every step of the process he kept us informed on the progress and contacted us for clarifications when needed. He finished the job on time, as planned and the work was fantastic. We are very happy with the new kitchen space and now we cannot wait to have the cabinetry installed. Please note that Victor is very good, hence he might get very busy, so please be patience with him about his turn around time when contacting him. Believe me when I tell you that it is worth waiting for him, and from now on we would not use another electrician in Albuquerque if it is not him.
