+ 0 moreAs to the generator, I just told them to figure out what if anything was wrong. It took them a couple of days to get to it, but they found the generator and one regulator was OK, and the other regulator was bad. And then they didn't charge me which I thought was above and beyond normal. I had expected to pay them for their time. As to the pool motor, they fixed it on the spot because I had already disassembled it and it took them only a few minutes because they had the part in stock. They charged me only $20. I was happy I didn't have to drop it off and then pick it up later thereby costing me two trips. The work was performed at their place of business, they didn't come out to my house.
Description of Work: This time I brought an old tractor generator and two regulators over that I was having trouble with. I'll also mention an experience I had with these folks a couple of years ago as well - one of the plastic parts for my pool motor broke on the centrifugal clutch.

+ 1 moreI brought a pool pump electric motor in that I'd already disassembled and diagnosed as having a broken part. I showed up with the motor, and somebody helped me with it right away, found the part, replaced it, and I was good to go. Friendly folks too and very helpful. Definitely rate an "A".
Description of Work: They replaced a broken part (the plastic piece on which the fly-weights pivot) in an electric motor. BTW, You don't really have a category 'electric motor repair' so feel free to change it to whatever you think is appropriate.
