Called several providers on pricing for 30 or 40 yard size dumpsters. L Mora was not the least expensive not the most expensive, but they had best load weight limit before applying additional charges. They also were the most responsive, including dropping off on Saturday, when I called Friday and asked if they could help me out so that I could work that weekend. No other provider offered to do that on such short notice. They said the driver would drop off between 9-12 and he was there at just after 9. I would definitely use them again.
Description of Work: Needed a drop-off dumpster for construction waste. 30-40 yard dumpster size.

Trash removal was fine until the day there was a big problem and then it was truly awful. On 4/5/2017, our normal pick-up day, I put the garbage can out and went to do a short errand. I was gone from 10 AM to about 11:15 AM. When I returned home, my trash was gone and our front gate was laying on the ground... with the railroad tie the gate was mounted on snapped off at the ground line. I called the company and told Mrs. M*** that her driver backed into my gate. She denied it, the driver denied it and since I was not home, there is no proof he did hit my gate and no proof he did not. The driver told his employer must have fell over by itself or the wind did it, which would have taken more than a 10 mph wind as it is a 20 foot 200 lb welded steel gate mounted on a railroad tie buried 2 feet deep in concrete. I live in a rural area, 2 dirt roads from pavement on a dead end road with 4 houses. We get literally NO TRAFFIC and it was hard for me to imagine that another big heavy truck came up the road for no reason, knocked over a very substantial gate and took my trash during the hour I was gone. I called the company and talked to Mrs. M one time and sent 2 emails about the damage including photos. She denied any possibility of responsibility for my gate. I filed a complaint with the BBB and then received a letter from a law firm threatening me with a lawsuit for harassment! Mrs. M refused to even consider her driver ran into my gate despite the fact that there were not a lot of trucks big or heavy enough on our road during that time frame that could break a railroad tie in half and then take our garbage. It took several weeks and 2 more complaints to the BBB to get a refund for the unused services. Being threatened by a law firm for harassment over 1 phone call and 2 emails about a damage situation is not a good way to deal with a legitimate customer complaint and I feel her methods for dealing with customer complaints are very unprofessional and do not exactly inspire confidence in this company's business practices. The threatening letter from the law firm was a bit over the top. I was stuck paying to have the gate repaired which was several hundred dollars. A reputable and responsible company might have offered to pay some of the damages because the company could not prove their truck did not hit my fence any more than I could prove they did. Did the driver lie? Probably, considering that he has worked for this woman several years and must know how she handles problems. My advice - if you use this company, do not ever expect a complaint to be handled in a professional and courteous way.
Description of Work: I used this company from 2/2013 to 5/2017 to pick up my trash weekly and everything was good - until the day it wasn't. This company does not seem able to resolve customer problems or complaints in a satisfactory or even customer-friendly way.

They started out good but have continued to go downhill since!
Description of Work: I am a long term resident of the east mountains(20+). When they started servicing us out here they were great, even "driving up long driveways" as advertised, not any more! Now they don't. Now they are too big for their britches. I have had a problem with bears attacking my garbage can and moved it away from the house. I even purchased a bear proof trash can, and it worked. It was sold at the local hardware store to help out the local "Bear Watch". I have always kept the snow away from my trash can because I have a snow plow! They have missed too many collections even though the roads were cleared by the county and me. When I have contacted them at there main number I always had to leave a voice mail. If and when they returned my call it was by the owners wife. She needs to get off the phone or undergo significant retraining on "customer relations"! She has no compassion and full of excuses! I used the tip left in the Holiday Card that was taped to the trash can to pay for the trip to the transfer station, which is how I started out. I have a new contract with East Mountain Disposal and will report on the service soon. I have seen them working much harder to service customers during bad weather!
