We called Kiki's Tree Service yesterday (Saturday) morning and asked if there was any possibility of them coming with their chipper machine on Monday to remove and shred all the debris. Kiki told me he could give me an estimate about 4 p.m. Saturday. He called back about an hour later and said he could be over at noon for an estimate. He arrived as he said and after surveying the massive piles of debris, stated that he would be happy to do the job and could possibly even begin later in the day. He arrived with two employees last night at about 5:30 p.m. and immediately began shredding. He told me that if they did not finish Saturday, he guaranteed they would be back today to finish the job. We were thrilled to receive a phone call at 7:15 pm last night from Kiki telling us that the job was finished. We have a lot more tree work to be done at this home and will definitely be using Kiki and his company to complete the work. He is extremely professional and pleasant to work with, his willingness to do our job almost on the spot was incredible, and his price was fabulous! Thank you for a great job, Kiki! We'll be calling again and referring friends to you. Jeff and Kathy Kleyboecker
Description of Work: We are renovating a home with a massive overgrowth of pyracantha and juniper bushes. In preparation for stucco work, we cut down the bushes, many of which were dead in the middle and piled the debris in huge piles in the front yard. We would have easily needed three 30-yard dumpsters to haul off the debris so decided it would be better to have the debris shredded and then recycled, so we called Kiki's Tree Service.

Kiki's trees service was really wonderful. Not only did they do what they said they were going to do but also trimmed a couple of extra trees without changing the final cost. He also gave me some advice of how to take care of a tree that was not doing well and it is doing much better now. They also cleaned my entire yard up, actually left my yard cleaner than it was when they started. They are also very nice.

See the above story, and then call Kiki's Tree Service.
Description of Work: I was under some severe time constraints because my insurance company was demanding that my trees be trimmed away from the roof. Kiki was very accommodating in scheduling my apppointment as soon as he could possibly manage it. He and his crew arrived early on the day and began work immediately. They did the entire job, plus much more because I was required to trim a neighbors trees which were hanging over my roof. They even cut down an evergreen tree that was about 40 ft. tall. They cut a lot of the wood into pieces suitable for a fireplace, which I shared with the neighbor, who was very appreciative. Kiki also trimmed some of my fruit trees just as a favor. Throughout the job, he was very friendly and personable. Kiki is the only person I will ever call for tree care and trimming.

They showed up on time, told me what they were going to do, and cut the trees into 2-3 foot pieces for me to save. Then they put all the extra branches in their woodchipper. They came back into the yard and cleaned up the entire yard. They also cut some extra limbs off trees that were just in the way. So they did some extra work that they didn't charge me for. I will definitely hire them again when I need future work.

My experience with Kiki was phenomenal. I contacted him one day and he came by and provided a very reasonable estimate for the work, and the next day he was out with his crew to remove the trees. Kiki and his crew completed the removal and stump-grinding of nine Italian Cypress trees in the morning, and did a fantastic job cleaning the area. Kiki went above and beyond by pruning a sick evergreen I have out back, and by cutting a path to the backyard. This is the first review I have written on Angie's list, and cannot speak highly enough about Kiki and his crew. Thank you so much for a job well done!

Kiki arrived on time to give me estimate. My only reservation in hiring him was that his bid was so much less than the other companies I had gotten bids from. But I liked that he checked to see if the stump grinder could get through my gate and the way he sized up the job and gave me his price. He also offered to cut the wood for my fireplace, which none of the other companies had done. When he came to do the removal it was a very efficient operation and they did an excellent cleanup. He even had his stump grinder guy rough up the soil where the replacement tree was to be planted the next day. I am going to have some more extensive tree work done in the future and there is no question but that I will hire Kiki's Tree Service to do the job.

Kiki arrived exactly on time. He gave me an estimate on trimming my massive mulberry tree - which was very reasonable. Then he mentioned that I needed to have my sidewalk repaired where the root was pushing it up. He told me that he would lift the cement, cut it in half (breathing space), grind the root, and replace the sidewalk. He also trimmed up my bushes (I had tried on my own and made a mess of them) which look nice. He said it would take 2 or 3 days with the sidewalk and the tree. He was done in one! My neighbors were all astounded at how good the tree looked, not to mention the sidewalk! He was a pleasure to do business with. I chose him because of all his reviews and I was not disappointed at all! Thanks Kiki!!!

I called early morning on a Friday. I spoke to the owner. He said they had a full day on Friday but could come on Tuesday to give me an estimate. I told him I understood if they were busy but I was hoping to have someone out sooner. They were working that morning in my general area. He came to my house around 12:30, gave me a VERY reasonable estimate, which including grinding the stump to about 4 inches below ground (we did not want to go deeper due to possible interference with a sewer line), and said he could do it right then. It took an hour or less, they did a great job, and cleaned up the area very thoroughly. I could not be more pleased. I will be using him again. Next job will be to prune out extensive dead branches from an enormous pine tree in my front yard.

When he cut the tree I was worried about either house being damaged, however he did a great job in taking the trees out with no damage, in a tight area. He cut the wood up just the way I ask him to and stacked it and the smaller branches and limbs he ran through a chipper. After that he cleaned up the area, then it was cleaner as when he started. So if somebody wanted to get rid of a problem tree, I can definitely recommend him that he will do a great job. He works fast and he did a very, very good job. His price was the best, he said he would beat anyone's price and he did that by $50 which is good enough for me. They're very professional, showed up ready to work, and see to it that the job was done.

After a total of three estimates, I decided on Kiki's Tree Service. Not only was his estimate within my ability to pay, he also impressed me with his willingness to do whatever tree trimming I wanted and even made several helpful suggestions as to how other plants should be trimmed. The thick accululation of pine needles was removed. They cut the pinon branches from over my roof and my neighbor's roof. The cypress tree was removed and the ground around it was cleaned completely. I asked that some of the cypress branches be cut for firewood. They did this and also stacked them where I indicated. They were deligent in their efforts to remove every branch and almost everyone of the twigs that had fallen during this process. I had a small accumulation of trimmings from some other bushes that I previously cut. They gladly picked those up and took them to the chipper along with the tree branches. Everything was cleaned throughly from the back yard to the front driveway. My rock landscape has not looked this good since the day it was placed on the ground. Kiki supervised his crew every step of the way and made certain the job was completed just as he had promised it would be. The fact that he is more than happy to do some extra things makes him an unusual worker. I would recommend him to anyone who wants a great job done and I will most certainly hire him again when I have any trimming that requires professional expertise.
Description of Work: Kiki removed one old cypress tree, trimmed two pinons and cleaned the ground under one of the pinons because it was layered with old pine needles and small branches. He also stacked some of the cypress wood, after cutting it in pieces small enough for a fireplace.

The 70 mph wind gusts on Dec. 1st 2011 knocked over a very large CO blue spruce, which knocked over part of block fence on property boundary and hung over neighbors yard, supported by his ponderosa pine. I called 4 tree services and got on site estimates from 3 companies. Kiki's was represented by Kiki, an arborist, who was more knowledgeable than the others, was determined to provide customer satisfaction and less importantly, was eager for work and matched other estimates. We walked around my entire yard and he gave me much free information along with the estimate. Kiki himself and an assistant removed the tree easily and efficiently, under complete control, without endangering my neighbor's property or my property. Kiki even cleaned his gutters after getting on his garage roof to trim limbs and section the top of the tree. Kiki was absolutely professional. Watching him cut down the spruce really inspired confidence. He had the experience and equipment to do this job with ease. They were always careful not to do any damage, moving their equipment, driving trucks, cutting plants or anything else. All through the time they were at my house they did extra work. There was 30-40 years of litter 2-3 ft deep around the tree. They removed it all. They also cut the trunk into firewood, piled neatly exactly where and how I wanted, and saved branches as I asked. I had asked Kiki to pick out a replacement conifer. He brought a beautiful tree, bigger (12 ft) and less expensive than the estimate. He planted it with utmost care. Even when the large hole had to be dug by hand rather than machine power, he did not cheat and make the hole minimum size. He did everything to plant the tree so that it would survive, big root ball, organic complete fertilizer, deep soaking roots, properly backfilling and tamping soil, etc. He cares about trees. Kiki also removed a smaller tree infected with bark beetles. He used his stump grinder to remove roots from the infected tree below ground level. While working in the back yard Kiki trimmed many other shrubs and trees without charge. In the front yard, there was a very large limb from a very large ponderosa pine overhanging my neighbor's garage and driveway. It was nearly the size of the trunk and pulling the tree over. This was a tricky job because of the geometry. Kiki made it look easy. All together this was a lot of hard physical labor. These guys were always efficient, never slowed and never took a break. Front and back yards there was a large volume of stuff to clean up. They left my property immaculate, much neater than when they started. My neighbor's yard, side walk, roof, etc. was left perfectly clean. They swept everywhere, even the street and gutter in front of my neighbor's house. They picked up every stray pine cone by hand. They used a leaf blower to remove every single needle. My neighbor was thrilled. EVERYTHING was cleaned up. They cleaned up stuff that had nothing to do with them, trash, litter, dead plants, small stumps, landscaping gravel, etc. Kiki and his assistant did this entire job better than I expected and better than is normal in this profession. The cost was less than I expected as well. I will hire them again and again.

Winds felled 60' pine tree on Dec 1st, taking out some utility lines but missing my structures. Called Kiki Dec 2nd, he gave me a quote and offed to work on Sunday afternoon. He arrived before noon Dec 3rd, calling first as asked. Crew of three cut up the tree and then dealt with the massive root structure imbedded at 90 degrees. All work completed as promised and clean-up left the yard looking ready for spring planting. Previous work included tree removal and tree planting. Kiki cares about trees and his customers.

They arrived when promised and performed the work as promised leaving the yarn clean of tree debris. They left some wood chips and cut up fire wood per our request all neatly stacked. Their price is reasonable and their work is solid. We had the stumps sprayed to prevent regrowth and Kiki (the owner) promised to come back and re-spray should we see some growth. Based on this experience, I would use them again and I would recommend their services.

One neighbor suggested I call Kiki. I did, and we set up a time to meet later in the week after work in the evening. He came ahead of time, looked at the trees, and we walked around, he listened to my concerns, and gave advice on what I could do. At the end, we went inside and he gave me an estimate. I agreed and we set up a time to come back(one week later, on a Sunday, because I wanted it fast), and said it would take a day due to the requirement to climb into each of the big trees and on the roof with a safety sling, and I would need to provide half as a deposit before he brought the crew out and started work. I called him mid-week and arranged to drop of the deposit. He showed up with a crew of four ahead on time Sunday, and I have never seen so many tree branches being trimmed so quickly. I went to run an errand, and he called me in the afternoon and said that he was finished. I rushed back, reviewed the work, and paid. Since I've never done this before, I don't know how much value I got, or what quality, but he did exactly what I wanted, quickly, for a fair price (other people said it was a decent deal).
Description of Work: He advised how to fix my tree situation and provided options. He cut down one tree and one huge overgrown Pyracantha that were threatening the foundation of my building. Cut down three trees that were leaning over at a steep angle over thet parking area. Additionally heavily trimmed seven other large (mulberry, siberian elm, pine?) trees that had not been trimmed in years and were knocking shingles off my roof and both neighbors' roofs whenever the wind blew. He provided advice on how to remove the invasive elm whose children spring up like weeds in my xeriscaping. He cut all the stumps flush and chipped/cut all the debris. He has a massive chipper.
