Eric and Brian were friendly, professional, and took excellent care of my belongings. They were very careful about the newly-finished wood floors in my new house, and really helpful in getting everything placed. I'd use them without question.

My experience with this mover was horrible from start to finish. I arranged the move for Friday, March 28th, and they arrived on Thursday the 27th. I was not home because they weren't expected. The manager scolded me for not calling them to tell them I wouldn't be there, even though they weren't scheduled at that time. They came the following day, but I had to wait until the afternoon to get started on the move (I was originally scheduled for 8:30 a.m.. Once they got there, they told me they couldn't move my antique upright piano unless I paid an additional fee of $130.00. I specifically told the manager when I scheduled about the size and weight of the piano and he told me they move these pianos all the time - there would be no extra charge. In addition, the truck wasn't large enough to hold my furniture, so the move was split into two days, which was inconvenient. I told the manager/scheduler, at the time I arranged the move, the square footage of my house and the amount of furniture I had, but still the truck was not adequate. They told me they would come the next day at 2:00 to move the piano and the rest of the furniture. After several calls to them, they arrived at 8:00 pm and we moved until 10:30 at night. The whole experience was stressful and exhausting. The only redeeming part of this terrible ordeal was the movers themselves, particularly Chris. They were professional and worked very hard to accommodate me, knowing I was upset about the way the move was progressing. The movers themselves were great, but the lack adequate organization and management of the operation was below any acceptable standard. I would not recommend them to anyone who wants punctual service at the quoted rate - they simply won't get it.

I CALLED ON SATURDAY, ASKING IF THEY COULD MOVE THESE 2 ROOMS.. THEY WERE TRYING FOR MONDAY AFTERNOON, BUT JOHN CALLED ME BACK & SAID THEY COULD DO IT ON THEIR DAY OFF SINCE I NEEDED IT OVER THE WEEKEND. SO, ON SHORT NOTICE, THEY CAME ON SUNDAY, AS IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE AN EASY PROJECT. IT WAS MORE DIFFICULT THAN ANTICIPATED, AS THE TALL BOOKCASES WERE NOT EASY TO MANEUVER IN & OUT OF DOORS, AND HALLWAY TURNS. THEY SUCCEEDED, AND EVEN REARRANGED THE SLEEP SOFA IN THE DEN WHEN I CHANGED MY MIND. THEY WERE FAST, EFFICIENT, FRIENDLY, VERY COOPERATIVE & VERY REASONABLE. JOHN & CHRIS REALLY MADE THE EXTRA EFFORT TO MAKE IT WORK OUT. I WILL CERTAINLY CALL THEM WHENEVER I NEED MOVING DONE. THEY ALSO GAVE ME THE ANGIE'S DISCOUNT.

The movers were very funny, which was great, because moving is a challenge! They were careful and did not damage anything. I've had many moves in my life, and this one was a positive. I can't remember the cost at this point. My receipts are buried now as I unpack! I would use them again.

They were a little late. But understandable because moving can be unpredictable. We have a huge water wall fountain that needed to be moved and they handled it with care and had no problems. They were great guys!! I will definitely use them again!!!

They were very good. The only negative was that they were over 2 hours late. Apparently someone had misquoted the amount of time it would take to do the previous job, but they called to let us know and then called again when they were on their way. They were very efficient and worked extremely hard, especially lifting a king size bed and a large mechanical sofa upstairs. They took very good care of our things and we would highly recommend them.

Took care of our property like it was there own.

There were two mover-guys. They ended up being a couple hours late to our job due to some unpredictable problems at an earlier move on the same day. But they kept in contact with us, and when they arrived they were ready to work hard. It was apparent that they had done this type of work, the both of them, for a long time, and so we were reassured that they would take good care of our stuff. (Our previous move experiences in other places left us a little concerned with how all of this would go...) They had only a few minor issues, which were to be expected and in each case were expertly resolved, and they impressed us with how fast everything went along. We appreciated their professionalism, and we thought the expense was very reasonable and fair.

I was not happy with the quality of the service. I had used K&J before, years ago, and they were great. This time they were not. I asked the 2 guys (movers) to use the plastic mattress covers that I had bought specifically for the move and they said, yes of course, but they didn't. I asked them to wrap our humidor in the blanket things that they provide and again, they did not. My sideboard got a bit scratched up and our coffee table got cracked. They probably stacked really heavy items on it in the truck. I called the owner a few days later to discuss it and he was a bit defensive, but said he'd look into it and call me back. He never did.

Mitch and Chris A. arrived promptly and efficiently helped move my things to my new residence. They were professional, friendly and courteous and took great care in doing an excellent job. Even though I hired them for three hours, they managed to have everything moved in 2.5 hours. They even offered to help me unpack and move things around my new residence. These guys were great!!

John was helpful and responsive, and the helpers who did the move were cooperative and professional. We were pleased and relieved to have such a successful experience in an emergency, and we would strongly recommend K&J'z to other customers.

Brian and Chris were our movers and they showed up right on time and quickly loaded all household items in a very neat, and safe way. We could not believe they fit all of our household and garage items in their truck. They made one stop to drop off a couple of items and then on to our new house. They unloaded all of our belongings very quickly and without any damage to anything, even going up our very narrow staircase. They were so curtious and professional the entire time and we would highly recommend this company and our two movers to anyone needing this type of service. Thanks again for making our move very easy.

The guys were excellent in all ways . Very friendly guys -- extremely fast ,, no wasting time ,, and very respectful workers.

Overall I was very satisfied. I'd recommend them.

Everything went smoothy and we were very satisfied with the company and how well our personal items were taken care of.

It went well for a first time visit.

I would not recommend them to others. They have great reviews but they were awful. I hired them and originally the owner was nice. The workers worked pretty good. But at the end, I have a one load left and they said they have been working all day, they were tired and didn't want to finish. So I spent the rest of the evening moving myself out which was the whole point of paying. On the last trip, they broke my grill and broke my outdoor umbrella. They said they would come back and fix it but nobody came. I have to call the owner three times and he ended up sending me $60 for the base of the umbrella. Then he asked me to signed if I wanted an additional insurance, he had me signed at the back end then he checked no insurance. So I have no recourse, I had a brand new bill that was completely demolished. I moved some of my stuff in the garage and what they did they put my love seat on top of my leather couches so now my couch was permanently stretch. It was not a good experience.

Better than expected. Prompt and courteous.

They are hard-working guys. They got A LOT done. What I thought would take multiple hours actually only took them a bit over an hour. They only charged me for 1hr. I did have a small problem with them. I had to re-reschedule once, and they did not show up at all - simply didn't put it on their calendar. They apologized and said they would come the next day from 3-4pm. They showed up at 5pm. The workers were excellent but the management had some scheduling issues.

On time, on price, as described. No frills no hassle.....in and out and on their way. 2 guys and a truck. Good job.

Overall, the experience was okay. The movers were polite and, according to my fiance, worked hard. I don't know why it took them seven hours to move an apartment that was 80% packed if they worked so hard... but he says they did, so I'll take his word for it. I would have given them a C, but he says they deserve an A, so we're compromising. I, myself, with two teenagers and with my bad back have packed out and moved a two bedroom apartment - with furniture - in less time than they took. They also didn't have any boxes with them, so my fiance had to go and buy boxes from U-haul in order to finish packing. What kind of moving company doesn't have boxes??? I'm a little irked because the entire reason we hired a moving company was to help finish the packing and, you know, move the things from one place to the other. That's another thing, they didn't bring everything from the apartment to the house - they left an entire linen closet behind, not to mention all of the empty hangers, half the kitchen, and anything hanging on any rack (towel rack, coat rack, over the door rack, etc...). Meaning, they were not very thorough. It's a good thing we have two weeks to go back and clear the rest of the junk out. Maybe they knew that -- my fiance might have mentioned it -- and that's why they decided to leave stuff, but it's not very professional. Anyway, we finally got everything moved, only a couple of things were broken, which is to be expected. I'd probably use them or recommend them again, but instead of taking the animals out of the way and getting the other place ready, I'd probably be at the apartment, making sure things were getting done instead of leaving it in the hands of a bunch of men.

Do hire them. Make sure you have all your ducks in a row before they arrive. They commented on how well prepared we were and what could have turned into a two day move quite easily was finished in one day because we were so well prepared.

I liked their price. I liked their availability. I liked the care they took in moving the furniture’s and the rest.
