Kash was professional and friendly. I made my request close to the date needed but he made it work and found me movers. I was moving on base and he didn't charge an extra travel fee like most of the other companies I contacted. During the day of the unpacking, when the team that was assigned to me were running late on their current job, Kash called me and notified me. He stayed up on everything. The only thing I didn't care for was I requested three guys and only two showed up for the job. I have plenty of military gear and hobbies, (mountain bikes, road bikes, olympic weight set, squat rack, dumbells and rack, etc. etc.) and a full house's furnishings. Three would have been ideal. I ended up doing a lot more work then I planned on doing. The movers (I forgot their names) where extremely friendly, professional, and hard working. They worked in an organized fashion and took minimal breaks. I could tell by the speed they were working they were there to get the job done and not try to work the clock. I would use this company again if I move again.

I was told the starting time was 9 AM. I did not know if it was starting time here on site or when they picked up their truck. They were a little late, but went straight to work. They were friendly and professional and worked very rapidly. They took the time to wrap the furniture very carefully and and carried each piece to the truck with great care. I live in an upstairs apartment and you would have thought that was nothing! The items went into storage and they did a wonderful job getting things into that room. The only glitch we had was that they took a cash payment and nobody had cash! Something that we should have clarified together. I did not have any problems with either move. These people were great to work with. Prices can't be beat! I would recommend them to anyone and I will certainly use them when I move back into my next home.

Originally messaged K&J'z through Angie's List. They requested that I call in order to answer some questions. I did and they were very professional on the phone and told me that they could handle my slightly odd request. Once the freight company called to let us know that the tub was going to be delivered, we called K&J'z. They arrived not long after the freight company dropped off the tub. It was in the garage rather than the street due to the weather. K&J'z moved the tub without any problems. This tub weighs at least 400 pounds and could be as much as 600 pounds.

Employees of K and J'z Moving service broke a piece of glass in a hutch. It was a pocket impression piece of glass and, as such was quite expensive to replace. After the damage was discovered, the employees assured myself and my parents that the damage would be repaired under the contract which they had yet to sign. After this assurance, they induced my father to sign a receipt which they did not mention contained a Liability waiver. They then BACKDATED this "agreement." Days later, after discovering that the piece would be difficult to replace, Kash King, proprietor of K and J'z, announced that he would not pay for the full value of the damaged piece and that he was not required to pay anything as a result of the liability waiver his employees induced my parents to sign and then backdated himself. He consented to pay a small portion of the actual cost of the glass repair which we accepted. This is bad business and fraudulent contracting. Just disgusting.

It was a very good move. As a retired military man I have made many moves and this, although small, was one of the best. We even had a locker box with a lost key and the crew opened it with no damage. The crew was efficient with time and energy. As I said, they were good. . They are very good. I scheduled about a day to do every thing moving my daughter into her new apartment on the second floor . They were done and had us moved into the house in less then three hours, which included travel time. The price was adjusted accordingly.

I hired K and J's Moving due to a special on Angie's List and I am glad that I did. The move went great! The movers showed up ten minutes early and began setting everything up right away. They came to the door and introduced themselves and were very professional. They were VERY quick but took great care, especially with some very fragile antiques. When they realized that the amount being moved was less than originally estimated, they actually gave me a discount on the cost of the move!! This is a great company, with bonded and insured employees, who have a great work ethic. If I were ever to move again, I would hire them in a heartbeat. They made a difficult job, much less painful. GREAT job!

They came late, they had scheduled 2 people and 4 came in the truck, although i didn't pay for 4, more employees came into my house. They asked alot of questions like do you live here? Are you having an estate sale? And they started looking into cases in the garage. They had to be there a total of two days. At the end of the first day I couldn't set the alarm and couldn't figure out why. On the second day they left, the alarm couldn't be set and I had an electrician coming in the following day to look at it. At 8am I opened the front door and see the house had been broken in to. They had come in through the garage door using a garage door opener, that now missing from the garage, a mirror had been placed infront of the shelf where it had been prior to the moving. The house had doors open on furniture that had not been moved because it was located in an area that had tile not carpet. Tools, silver and collector plates were now missing and the fire door had been cro-barred. A police report was made. I met with the owner who only insisted his employees could never do this. My doorways and walls were nicked up and scratched, he tried to repair them ith furniture oil, it didn't work. No one hd access to the house, I had the only key and it was locked, including all windows.

It went very well. We had decided that instead of getting an estimate we would just hire 2 guys and a truck from them for a day. We (meaning I) underestimated the amount of work. These guys actually were able to get another crew and truck to come help for the 2nd half of the day - finishing the entire job in one day (barely). The underestimation was all mine. They worked hard, professionally and well, did a great job. Very pleased with the service. I marked the price as a B, but I do feel we got fair value for our money. They did what was needed to complete the job .....

The team that showed up was great. They worked very well together and were very careful with my items.

Before I hired this company, I confirmed that a new wood stove would be a major part of the move. However, when the movers arrived they balked at moving the stove. After some discussion they agreed to move the stove. Then when we arrived at the site my husband had to help them move the wood stove. While we understood it would be difficult the owner did not send strong enough men to do the job. They did an excellent job on all the other furniture and boxes. I would use them again.

They were prompt, fast, and professional. I have plenty of positive things to say about my experience with them. We are a military family and really appreciated that this company made our move very easy.

What a GREAT experience! Leroy and Chris arrived early on Monday, actually a few minutes before they were scheduled. Both movers took the time to introduce themselves and shake my hand. They then proceeded to quickly and efficiently move all of the furniture from two living areas and three bedrooms. They asked questions when information was needed. They offered advice when asked. And they were very helpful and knowledgeable about the best ways to move all kinds of furniture. They had the truck loaded in 15 minutes! When we arrived at the new house, the unloading went just as smoothly. They took the time to move furniture to the appropriate rooms and treated all of our possessions with great care. The job went by so quickly, that they actually refunded some of my pre-paid money. That was unexpected! I have moved numerous times in the past, but this move went better than any other, thanks especially to the hard work and professionalism of these two young men. They were awesome.

The guys did a great job. They were careful about not hitting the walls and doors as they replaced the furniture into the room. And after noticing that the leg on a piece of furniture was lose, they asked if they could tighten the screw on it. They care about making sure that the customer is happy with the job. We've used K&J'z before and will continue to use them.

They worked really hard in the heat, to get the work done in four hours. They were very professional and careful. We would definitely hire them again.

This is one of the best moves I've ever experienced! As a professional house stager, I've moved enough to know the difference between a good move and a rotten one. Here are some elements of a good move: - Furniture is undamaged (blankets used for padding, packing is conscientious) - Nothing in boxes gets broken - The truck is in good operating order - The movers are professional and understanding - The movers show up on time and work hard the whole time - The movers ask good questions and are attentive to my answers - The price for the service is competitive and reasonable All of these things were performed on my behalf for this move. Pretty well. They did break some potted plants and binoculars came up missing.

I have used this company several times since 1998 locally. Each experience was top notch and they are prompt, careful, and extremely courteous. I refer them and will only use them for any relocation need.
