Description of Work: Moved our furniture from our rental house to our new home. They were very prompt, courteous, and professional. Only negative were some dirty hand prints left on cream colored leather furniture. But they came off easily. Would use them again.

Description of Work: They were courteous, and friendly. Very careful with our furniture, they explained everything they were doing. Our things arrived on time and without any damage. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

Description of Work: We had a small move from one condo to another in the same community. They loaded up in a timely fashion, delivered to the other unit and helped place the furniture. Overall a very positive experience and I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: they sent sub contractors who complained the whole time. The movers were not prepared for the size of the house and had to make multiple trips even though I told the K&J people exactly what was needed. Stuff was left at the old house that we had to go back and get the next day. They refused to move a tread mill cause it wouldn't fit on the truck and they didn't want to make another trip.

Description of Work: Kash and John were a great mix of easy-going and professional. We had had a terrible experience moving TO New Mexico and with all the lack of regulation in the moving bizz, we were extremely wary and did our homework. I saw that K & J'z had good reviews on Angie's List, and that they did out of state moves. They were not the least expensive, and this was a big house, so to save some money I packed everything myself, as they charge by the hour. but they have been in business long enough that when they come to bid the job, they know pretty much how long it will take them and the weight and cubic feet as well. We were moving from Santa Fe to The Bay Area and two things gave me a lot of confidence in the company: 1) They let me speak with someone they had recently moved and he spoke highly of them and 2) The same guys who load up the truck are there to unload your items at the other end! This is rare and I liked this aspect very much. On moving day the guys called to tell me their ETA and it was very punctual. A crew of four showed up and while one took inventory and put stickers on everything, the others loaded the truck. It was a very hot day and you should ALWAYS offer these men who are moving your belongings food, drink, and a tip. I went and got them cold beverages and sandwiches and they took only a few breaks the whole time and I was very impressed with how hard they worked. Ditto for the crew of two of the men who were there to unload it. I gave them my ideal arrival date as Sept. 9 and our belongings arrived on the 10th. This is excellent news as anyone who has ever had to wait 2 weeks for their items can attest! A mirror and a TV were damaged but given the amount of breakable items we had, (LOTS!) and also given how readily and quickly the company covered those items, this was no big deal. All in all: FIVE STARS! Great team, honest, fair and as stress-free as something as stressful as a cross country move could possibly be. Highly recommended!

Description of Work: Excellent service. I had numerous items that needed to be moved within a two-story home and to and from a 5th wheel camper. All done within a half hour timeframe (the movers were fast and didn't waste any time). The movers were friendly, polite, and courteous. I will certainly call K&J'z movers again.
