Just Sprinklers

I really like this company. The work that they've done has turned out very nice, and I wouldn't think about using anybody else.

They said the pipes needed to be replaced. I had them do the work and I'm sure they did a good job. However I went out and found they were putting in a drip system in which I already had. I told them I was not paying for this as I did not need it and did not ask for this. None of the guys there spoke English and made it difficult for me to talk to them. I am trusting that they did the job right but I am not sure.

They were good. They were on time and they did what they said and it did not cost me more than their estimate. I would use them again.

They are great and anytime they have come out for a problem they fix it right the first time.

They guaranteed their work. I had a leak in one of them and they came out and repaired it for free.

They are fast. They did an adequate job and they were quick to get the work done.

They would not negotiate with me and I made a BBB complaint. The BBB shows that it was resolved and it never was.

There was water leaking in the box where the valves are for my sprinkler system, so I thought maybe the valves were leaking. I called to set up an appointment to get an estimate and confirm the problem; when the workers showed up, they did not give me an estimate but said they were there do to the work. When I pointed out that I thought I was just getting an estimate, and that the representative on the phone did not explain that they would be actually doing the work when they arrived, there was no offer to do anything differently. I felt duped and that the behavior was underhanded and unprofessional. I will never recommend this company or use them again.

Everything was done in timeley manner and professionaly done. As of today we are happy with the result.

Because I had a giant leak in a main drip pipe and I water every other day, I needed somebody right away to repair before the next watering session. They promised to come on Thursday. They never showed up. I called at noon and they assured me sweetly that someone would definitely come before the end of the day. I got no further word. Update: I called this company to come out back in July and they did an incredible job. Will the technician carefully read the installation instructions and determined there was a problem but fixed it and completed the job in only 30-45 minutes. Will was very knowledgeable and explained everything.

I called to get an appt for repair...there was a three week waiting list...was told I would get a morning appt...was told repair would be about $175...the day before my repair I called to verify that I was on schedule for appt time of 8 to noon...on the day of repair noon came and went...I called and was told that appt. was for 3 pm...so I consider their punctuality lousy....repairmen were very professional and I was happy with the repair work that was done...not happy with having to waste my entire day waiting...

They crews always arrived later than I expected (around 10) but worked past 6. The first crew arrived on the date specified (the synthetic grass took a couple weeks for delivery), and graded the yard, laid the edging and gravel for the grass. They worked around our spetic cover and where we wanted a tree planted. The next day a new crew came and started the irrigation system. This took a few days. They finished by laying the grass. I did have to have Johnny come out to show me how the system worked since I couldn't get the drip lines working. He came out and showed me that the crew had turned the irrigation main off. The crews were always nice and respectful. They left the yard cleaner than when they arrived.

The appointment was for the morning (they couldn't give me any more specific time than "morning"). I got a call at 11:45 saying he wouldn't make it until 4:30PM. Then at 4:30 they called to say it wouldn't be until after 5:30PM and asked if I'd like to reschedule. I told them I'd give the job to someone else. I would have been a lot more understanding if the last time I dealt with them, about 5 years ago, the estimator didn't skip out on two appointments without even calling. I thought it must have just been a fluke, but apparently not.

Just Sprinklers got back to me when I left a message and were able to take care of my problem that day. We consulted on adding a new zone and converting some sprinkler to drip. The estimates seemed very reasonable to me and I would definitely hire this company in the future if I had any repair issues or decided to add to my system.

The estimator and supervisor (Johnny Carter) showed up with the two workers to get them started, and then left but returned several times throughout the project. The workers were polite and diligent. They usually arrived between 9:30 and 9:50 a.m., took a half-hour lunch, and departed around 4:30 p.m. They did a good job tidying up each day before leaving. At least one of the workers, Reuben, was present throughout the project. However, one day, in the middle of the project, no one showed up. There was no call and no reason ever given. My wife had arranged to be home that day, so it was a bit frustrating, but work went very quickly the first few days. They demolished and removed the old concrete walkway, brick borders, and sod. The next day they trenched and ran the new irrigation zones' lines from the valves at the opposite side of the house, through the back and side yards, and under the block-and-stucco courtyard wall to reach the front yard. In the process, they cut through and then repaired some existing irrigation lines in the back yard. Several of the concrete blocks separating our front yard from our neighbor's driveway also came loose. I was impressed that Johnny said they would repair this wall at no extra charge though the mortar was old and crumbly and the mortar joints for two of the blocks had failed long ago. (This repair was completed by two different workers about a week after the rest of the project.) Next, the workers built the serpentine retaining wall between the main front yard and the sidewalk. Since the wall did not exceed 2 ft high and we have relatively mild winters, they used a compacted crushed granite foundation. The blocks by Belgard, were a manmade product with a split (rough) face and matching capstones. The blocks look good, but seemed to be a bit brittle. When being cut or broken to size, sometimes the corners broke off, leaving too large a gap between adjacent blocks. The workers replaced these when asked, but did not seem to have an eye for this themselves. It was evident that the workers were not refined masons, but with a little input from us, they did a good job. The aim was for a semi-rough look, so the level of perfection needed was not the same as with a more refined material. While running the irrigation lines, we had only asked that an irrigation access point be made available in each of several places, not that all of the planter lines be completed. Johnny had the workers extend planter lines from the access points so that all I need to do in the spring is plant and run drip emitters to each new plant. They even ran emitters to all of the existing plants. That will save me at least one or two weekends of work in the spring. The last major task was the flagstone walkway from the driveway to the front gate. As with the block, the workers did not seem to have refined design perception, but with a few suggestions from me, they quickly shaped and rearranged the stones into a pleasing pattern and then filled the gaps with a sand-epoxy that dried to a firm, natural looking filler. The overall result was almost exactly as I had envisioned and drawn. It was definitely a pleasing result. Throughout the work, Johnny was reachable by cell phone. Either he or the company receptionist called back if Johnny could not take the call immediately. Johnny was patient, calm, and professional when it was necessary to interact with two difficult neighbors.

On a terrible weather day (40s and rainy), the guys showed up on time and worked until 6pm. They returned the next day at 8 to finish. All the workers were polite and professional. They cleaned up their trash and even cut a few of the old sprinkler heads off for me. They were more than willing to lay out the lines as I needed them to be.

THE SPRINKLERS ARE NOT SPRAYING THE AREAS THEY SHOULD. THEY DID NOT ADJUST THEM WELL. THEY REPAIRED THE ONE SPRINKLER TO SATISFACTION. THE SPRAY STILL DOES NOT GO WHERE YOU WANT IT TO.

THEIR PRODUCT WAS GREAT. THEY WERE THIRTY MINUTES EARLY AND GOT DONE IN A TIMELY MATTER. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THEY GOT THE JOB DONE RIGHT.

THEY DID A VERY BAD JOB. THEIR QUALITY OF WORK WAS TERRIBLE. THEY SAID THAT THEY COULDN'T FIND A LEAK. BUT THEIR WAS CLEARLY A LEAK, BECAUSE IT STARTED LEAKING IN THE KITCHEN. THEY WEREN'T VERY PROFESSIONAL.

I'M STILL MAD ABOUT THE WHOLE THING. THEY CHARGED US LABOR FOR SITTING AROUND DOING NOTHING, AND THEN THEY PUT IN THE WRONG PART. THEY CHARGED US FOR THAT TOO, AND THEY CHARGED US FOR ALL OF THE TIME IT TOOK TO FIX THE PROBLEM.

I LIKE THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THEY ARE WELL-KNOWN AND DO A GOOD JOB, BUT THEIR PRICES FOR THEIR SERVICES ARE A LITTLE HIGH. THE PEOPLE ARE NICE AND ALWAYS DO GOOD WORK.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE. IT TOOK OVER A WEEK BEFORE THEY CAME OUT TO DO ANYTHING, AND THAT WAS AFTER I THREATENED TO CALL THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. ON THE REPAIRS THAT THEY DID, THEY DID NOT TEST ANYTHING BEFORE LEAVING.

THEY DID A THOROUGH AND EFFICIENT JOB BECAUSE THERE WERE SITUATIONS WITH THE WATER LINES. THEY WERE GOOD AT TROUBLE SHOOTING. I AM REALLY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICES THEY DID FOR ME.

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS COMPANY FOR MANY YEARS AND THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING BUT EXCELLENT WORK FOR ME. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN AROUND FOR ME WHEN I NEEDED THEM. THEY SHOW UP ON TIME AND HAVE THE JOB DONE IN A QUICK AMOUNT OF TIME.

THEY TOLD ME AN ORIGINAL PRICE AND THEN CHARGED ME MORE. I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THE WAY THEY HANDLED THEIR BUSINESS. I HAD ESTIMATES THAT WERE BETTER AFTER WORDS AND THEY ALL SAID HE OVERCHARGE WITH LOW QUALITY REPLACEMENT PRODUCTS.
