+ -1 moreJoseph called back very promptly to let me know that he doesn't work on antiques (my piano was built in 1902). He recommended 88 Keys, whose piano tuner unfortunately will not return phone calls. Joseph may not want to recommend 88 Keys in the future. However, Joseph was very responsive and very personable. Based on that, I would recommend him for anyone that doesn't have an antique.

+ -1 moreJoe was great! My piano had not been tuned a few decades! And he was able to bring it into tune! He was reasonably priced and very professional. He drove 30 minutes outside of Albuquerque and took his time to do the work. I will be hiring him again to keep it in better tune. Thank you Joe!

Description of Work: Joseph Garcia came and tuned up our piano for a very reasonable price. We purchased a very old upright for a nominal amount and were just trying to get it tuned so it would be usable. Joseph stated that it wouldn't be "concert ready," but it would be good enough for our purposes. The price was very reasonable, and he even engaged a bit with my son by listening to him play an original composition, even going so far as to say his talent deserved a better piano!

+ -1 moreJoseph came right on schedule and tuned my fairly old piano (it had probably been 10 years since it was last tuned and required quite a bit of work). He went above and beyond just doing the bare minimum and did so in a very timely manner. I highly recommend him for anyone in need or any sort of work on their piano.

He examines every inch of the piano and has repaired keys without additional charge.
