The work was done well enough, but I made the mistake of paying the owner before it was completed. They were supposed to come back to our home to: 1. Finish sanding a door after some wood filler had hardened overnight. 2. Bring a container of the colored stucco so I could use it to patch places that might come loose (and some has already come loose.) 3. Bring my window latch back 4. Bring back the copy of my receipt which he picked up from our dining table and put in his pocket, unknown to me until he left. After I called to see which day he was coming back out, I was told a certain day, but no one showed up or called. I again called and was told he would show up on another day, and, again, he didn't show up or call. It became clear after two weeks that he had no intention of coming back, since he had already been paid. To illustrate how he thinks, I had told him we had a friend whose home needed stucco work, and that we would be building a home and would consider him for the job. All he had to do was take care of those last few things and he would have likely gotten one or both of those jobs. I lose about a hundred dollars, he loses about three hundred thousand dollars of work. One day during the job phase I complained that one of his crew lied to me by telling me he was coming out on a Saturday, but didn't show. The owner told me "You know how construction people are." Now I know he was including himself in the assessment. For me, lesson learned.
