I am very happy with the results and the price I paid. In addition, I had the heater installation inspected by the City and it passed with no problems. John is my first call whenever I need handyman service.

John did an incredible job. It was a very hard job, with a kitchen faucet that was there since the house was built 35 years ago, and no space to get to it. He spent hours working on it and finally got it in. It's beautiful. He also took down a built in microwave that has also been there since the dark ages and made from scratch a holder for the new one, then replaced it. Everything was clean after he was done, as though he had not even been there. He even fixed the exhaust pipe which had been installed improperly. On his way out I asked if he would please drill three holes for me in a piece of furniture I was repairing, because I couldn't get to the area of the holes. Not only did he drill the holes but placed the screws in them as well. And it was late in the evening when he should have been with his family. A very very kind man, very knowledgeable, who is eager to help and is very professional. He goes out of his way to help. I will call him again for any household problem. He is really good. Whenever I call, he comes right out. He charges $50 an hour.

It took a lot of work. The replacement oven required some electrical work but John took care of it. We appreciated his skill and patience.

I called John when tenants moved out of one of my apartments and left it in shambles. Originally, I just wanted John to bid a couple of plumbing projects on the unit. John showed up when promised. He looked at the job/jobs I was requesting, and was honest about what needed to be done, and what his time frame would be based on his current commitments. When it was time for the work to start, John was there on-time and performed the work with professionalism and care as if it were his own place. His work was so good, I ended up having John help me with the entire re-do which took over a month to complete. All I can say is I could not have done it without John's help and guidance along the way. I continue to use John for work on my other investment properties in Albuquerque.

First of all, John is very busy and it is very hard to contact him. Next, trying to get him to come to your home to do the work he said he would do. 1. He did install the air conditioner quickly, after he had me go buy the unit and bring it home for him. He did a lousy job of installing it. He used a plastic water line so it will only last one season, so I will have to replace that this season. He refused to install a water-refreshing system that I bought at the same time I bought the A/C unit and would not put a drain line on. He installed a new thermostat that seems to be working fine. 2. He installed a PLASTIC water line in my kitchen for my fridge icemaker and ran it behind my oven, which promptly melted and burst. Luckily, I was home at the time of the burst which flooded my kitchen so I could turn off the water supply before more damage was done. So, I had to have someone else put in a copper water line for the supply line to the icemaker. 3. He finally came to the house about three weeks later to complete other jobs that we had hired him to do, but by then, we had already hired someone else to complete the jobs. We just didn't want to wait any longer for him. He is a very likable person, very friendly, but he just takes on too many jobs at once and cannot spread himself that thin. Then he makes stupid mistakes, I guess, and you have to re-do the job some time later and pay someone else after paying him. I would not recommend him if you want a job done in a timely manner or if you want the job done right the first time. This is my own personal opinion and am not putting him down, I just had experiences with him that were not favorable.

He is conscientious, but the only thing some people may object to is that he does not work fast. So if people want a fast job they might not be satisfied with John. He does the work when I need it but it takes him a while to get it done. He is the only one working because he doesn't want to work with anybody. What he does is sheer perfection. I like that. I admire him and the value of the work. He knows how to do everything. I see him pretty often. He charges $50 per hour and I think his prices are reasonable. That's really low compared to what other people charge. He has other jobs he works on so he does not do jobs overnight. It didn't bother me. He comes when he says he shall be here. He does what he is supposed to do. He did a lot for me. Last year he fixed electrical wiring for me. He just does a beautiful job. He always calls if he is not going to be there.

|John's Plumbing and Heating (JPH) were contacted for assistance, but other scheduled jobs prevented JPH from arriving until mid afternoon. Once JPH assessed the problem they provided a quote and indicated the installation would have to be performed later that evening. Due to other jobs already scheduled, JPH arrived late evening and worked into the night installing a new hot water heater. I appreciated the efforts of JPH, despite a heavy workload, in getting our household back to normal.

It was an extremely positive experience! It was extremely reasonable for him to come out and fix our issue. He was very timely, as he came out promptly and finished the job very quickly. I would definitely use them again in the future.

John called shortly before his scheduled arrival time and said he would be about 45 minutes late. In fact, it was nearly one hour and 45 minutes later when he arrived. But once he did arrive, he took the time to thoroughly understand the problems and then dove right in. The leak turned out to be a very minor fix. The water pipes were a little more challenging. He had to build a wood bracket to support the pipes, then strap them down to the bracket. The bracket is a little klunky, but effective. Considering he did all of this work in less than an hour, and charged me only $50 labor, it was a bargain. He was friendly and considerate. I would use John again for small jobs, especially small plumbing jobs, but would seek a specialized contractor for major work.

We did not use him for the work because my husband ended up doing it himself and did a good job. However, if we were to need plumbing work done in the future, I would call on John the Plumber first.

John is a very nice guy. He came by once and gave me an and quot;estimateand quot; and then a week later came back and did the work. I put and quot;estimateand quot; in quotes because he charged by the hour and it took a little longer than he estimated. I could tell he knew what he was doing, and he was very professional. I have no hesitation recommending him, or using him again for other projects.

John showed up on time, took my list of repairs I needed and started immediately. He completed each task efficiently and to my expectations. John is hard working and stays with it - doesn't stand around talking like the last one we had. I would definitely recommend this handyman to anyone.

John arrived on time and fixed the problem really quickly. He needed to replace a small part but only charged me the minimum call out fee. I would definitely recommend him as a handyman and I will be using him again.

Very professional handy man work. John can do about everything that you need. Even though he lives in Albuquerque, he drove down to Los Lunas for us to do work on one of our houses. He is very punctual and professional. Doesn't waste time and does a very good, quality job. I highly recommend John!!

John came and gave me a $150.00-$200.00 appraisal and told me it would take 4 hours to do the project. He was booked so it would be 2 weeks until he could come and do the work. I decided to let John do the job because he had great ratings on Angie's list and this was a price I could afford. I am retired and on a limited budget. I called to confirm the day and time the day before he was suppose to be there. He said he would show at 8:30 AM. He arrived at 9:00 AM. He ran into problems putting in the cabinet and the job ended up taking him 8 hours to complete. He cancelled a job he had for the afternoon so he could complete. He left twice to go and get parts. He said he had to cut my tile on the floor to put the cabinet in so it would balance. I told him I had tile left from when I tiled my bathroom so he could tile the little portion so there would be tile under the vanity. He assured me this would work. After he left, I was cleaning the bathroom and noticed you some of the concrete by the front of the cabinet. This is an eye sore. When you sit on the toilet, this is noticeable. He also cut the molding around the door to fit the cabinet and then there was a gap so he placed a little slab of wood there to fill in the gap. I think had he left the molding, it might have worked. He said no. As far as the plumbing, he did an excellent jobe and this is definitely a strength for him. At the end, he brought the bill and it was $590.64. This really hurt my pocketbook. His price ended up being higher than any bid I received from anyone before. I would have gone with another bidder had I know the price was going to be so high. I am happy I finally have a working sink but I am disappointed in the job overall.

John came and did the estimate within a timely manner. I wanted my a toliet and 2 faucets. He gave me a quote of $150.00 which I thought was good. He wanted me to get everything and call him back so I did. When I called him back the first time it took several phone calls before he called back and he didn't remember what or who I was. We did schedule a time for him to come but I had to reschudle because of my work. So we scheuled for April 25 at 2 pm. So I waited on that day until 2:30 and never heard from John. Then after I had left the house he called me and left a message to say he was at my house and that he was late because he was on the west side. I would have appreciated a phone call just to let me know then this could have been avoided. I have decided to go with someone more dependable.

The experience went wonderful. He is just a great guy. You just can't find people that can do anything and everything like he can and do it well.

John is friendly, efficient, tidy and knowledagble. He worked through the day - 9:30 am - 4:30 pm and got everything (and some) done. I will definitley use him again.

John does outstanding and professional quality work.. He is very knowledgeable and proficient in many areas. He is punctual and easy-going. His estimates have been accurate and his hourly rate is very reasonable. We have been preparing a rental house for sale recently and, other than a major electrical and HVAC upgrade, John has done all the repair and and quot;polishingand quot; needed to put the house on the market. John has become the and quot;go toand quot; guy for all our maintenance issues. He has done work for my daughters and for my sister-in-law all of whom are well-satisfied.
