Do not use Jim Findley (Mainstreet Realty) or Liz McGuire (Coldwell Banker). I wouldn't trust either of these individuals to tell me it was raining if I were set. In late 2006 these two realtors worked together to sell the house-next-door to ours in Cedar Crest, New Mexico. Jim Findley was the realtor for the seller. Liz McGuire was the buyer's agent for this sale. Together they colluded with the buyers to execute the sale of this property and essentially "steal" approximately an eighth of an acre of our land by representing it as part of the property for sale. Our property was even on the for-sale flyer. They did this by convincing the buyers that it would be a small feat to force us to sign an easement at or after the purchase. All the buyers would have to do is threaten to sue us--which they did through a direct threat of legal action from Jim Findley. Because we refused to sign away our rights to our private property, we were sued --by our new neighbors--for access and parking on our property. After nearly eight years, we're still litigating. These two people should have their real estate licenses revoked!
Description of Work: Deposition in a lawsuit that involved a house sale of his. Findley represented the sellers in a property sale next door to me. We paid her $100 for her deposition in pre-trial proceedings in a lawsuit against us which he substantially caused. Though not directly employed by me, except for the deposition, he did great harm nevertheless. After seven years of litigation we're still unable to sell our home due to the litigation.

excellent results. Though I have not seen Mr. Findley for years, I consider him a rural neighbor and a friend. I would use him again in any real estate situation of buying, selling, developing or financing.
Description of Work: I had a difficult legal, real estate utility issue of which Mr Jim Findley was familiar. He helped represent our situation in front of the Board of Directors of a large local utility. His professionalism, stature and understanding of the issue's (then) current situation, and its clouded history, helped the Board move in the direction that we needed. This was a 6-10 thousand dollar problem that was resolved at no cost to either side, but could have ended up in court. We have also done real estate financing through a Credit Union of which Mr. Finley ran the mortgage department.

This guy is a thug. Because we refused to sign away our rights to our private property, we were sued--by our new neighbors--for access and parking on our property. We have been in legal preparation for court for three and a half years and counting. Don't even ask me how much money we have spent. These two people should have their real estate licenses revoked.
