Fantastic it was major a remodel that they remade, everyday they clean up after themselves and they came when they tell you they will show and they manage every work.

We could not be more satisfied with the conversion project. Jeff Speck met with us frequently first to discuss the project as we envisioned it and later throughout the execution of the project. He offered good suggestions regarding how the project could best be implemented and then we met personally with his designer who transformed our ideas into plans. The planning stage was conducted very well. The communication was just excellent. We used all communication resources: face -to-face meetings, telephone, and email. Jeff captured our decisions in writing which we reviewed in detail before the project began. This paid big dividends. We had no issues regarding misunderstanding during the entire four month project. During the planning stage, Jeff arranged for us to meet individually with each subcontractor during which time we were able to discuss our goals with each. Jeff's selection of subcontractors was excellent for the most part. The painting subcontractor was not as thorough or attentive to detail as we desired, but Jade made sure that all painting issues were resolved to our complete satisfaction. We were especially pleased with the foundation/concrete, and electrical subcontractors--just excellent folks who knew their job well. All member of the staff at Jade Enterprises are very professional. Jeff assigned a project manager, Matthew, to our project. Matthew was just superb in this function. First, he is very knowledgeable regarding all aspects of construction, an asset obviously acquired from personally performing many different construction tasks over his career. But his best assets are his communication and listening skills. He listens carefully and is quick to ascertain the essence of what the customer is trying to convey. Working with Matthew was just a pleasure. The subcontractors always cleaned up daily and were respectful of the neighbors by being cognizant of not encroaching onto their property---not as easy feat considering the limited parking space available. One of the more impressive outcomes of the project was the on-time completion of the project. It was our goal to have the garage conversion completed prior to Christmas week because of a planned family visit that week and Matthew worked diligently to make that happen---not an easy task considering the many interfaces he had to coordinate. Another notable occurrence that defines Jade's professionalism was the discovery after construction began of a substandard support beam across the entrance to the old garage which could have created problems later with our new sliding glass doors. Although Jeff had not considered correcting this in his pricing, he, without hesitation, undertook to remedy the fault without increasing the price. The expense of doing so was not insignificant. Another occurrence worth noting was our discovery that one of new garage door openings was not as wide as we desired for parking our SUV This was our error, but Jade accommodated our request for change without hesitation. We, of course, paid for this oversight on our part. We value quality of work highly and we found this characteristic in all of Jade's undertakings. This review is somewhat late but purposely so. We wanted to experience Jade's responsiveness to our requests for fixing problems that became evident after the project was completed. First, there have been only three instances for which we contacted Jeff for help---a rather remarkable fact considering the scope of the project. Again, the response was quick and hassle free. In summary, we are delighted with outcome of the project. We highly recommend Jade for any construction project, new or remodeling.

Jade was one of three contractors who bid on the remodel. I choose Jade because of the expertise and cost as well as a referral from a friend. The owner arrived on time and had a quote back to me in the time frame he said. Once I decided to go with Jade my first appointment was with all the people who would be working on the project such as electricians, cabinetry, granite etc. There was a project manager assigned to the remodel and he was always on time and available by phone. I really appreciated his continuity. He made sure the work site was cleaned up everyday and also got me a temporary sink once my was dismantled. I also had a buyer for all my kitchen cabinets and appliances and Jade was super careful not to damage any of those items. There were a few bumps during the remodel with subcontractors and Jade professionally worked with me to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with the professionalism and expertise of Jade Enterprise and am going to hire them again for a deck replacement.

They did not answer the phone. I left a voicemail. They never called back.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish. The subcontractors and suppliers all specifically mentioned that they enjoy doing jobs for Jade.

John (the job foreman) was extremely professional. He listened to what we wanted and made suggestions. His crew was professional and was careful not to spread more dirt and dust than necessary. He was in control of the subcontractors and they also were excelent. In the process of installing the new gas kiva, they found a gas leak that we didn't know we had from a previous remodel by another company 4 years earlier. In the process of finding the leak (the psi for the fireplace wasn't adequate, per the pressure test) they made several holes in several different walls. They found the leak, corrected it, and repaired all the holes they made. They not only painted over the holes, they painted our entire greatroom. Inspection was called for and passed. The sub that plastered the kiva did an outstanding job. It was exactly what we wanted. We will use then again. They are worth the price they charge.

Great! (See above) I already have another project lined up for in the spring--submitting your project early is key with Jade, since the company is a very popular choice among homeowners who know their work.

Everything about them is great. They return phone calls and were always on time. They cleaned up after themselves. Overall they provided very good service and I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

They are absolutely professional and on time. Every single day they cleaned up very well after themselves. There was not much of a mess at all considering how big of a project it was.

We had the owner of the company, Jeff Speck, out to our home to give us an estimate for a remodel of our portico covers. He was on time for his scheduled appointment, and he seemed very friendly and knowledgeable. He said it would take up to two weeks to get back with us on the estimate, as he was very busy. Two weeks passed and we never heard back from him. Not a good sign on how he runs his business, so maybe we dodged a bullet by his not having followed through...it may have saved us a lot of frustration had we actually had Jade Enterprises perform the work. Very disappointing

The owner is Jeff Speck. He is very responsive. He has a lot of good ideas. He is very organized. He has a nice packet with all the licenses. He draws out for you what your project could look like and gives you a copy of that. His office is pretty assessable and you can pretty much call them anytime during the day that they are there. It was a good experience. I would love to use him but he is very pricey.

They were excellent. They charged us $16000 for their services. The job done by them was excellent. They were professional and amazing. They listen to what you want. They are creative. They suggest things and they are good, but they are a little expensive. We would use their services in the future too.

They basically had an on-sight project manager and contracted out the work to companies with which they have a report. Everything was professional, courtesy, and done extremely well. Good job JADE Enterprises.

It went very good. They assigned a project manager to our job who was my liason with the company. It was very helpful. The remodel was a very high quality and we were very impressed. We would highly recommend them.

They were fabulous overall. They were on time and they always took the time to call if they were going to be late. I felt that I could trust everyone who came out. They were up front about the cost and professional during the project. The final price ended up in the sixty thousands. I have had no complaints with them. I like everything about them.

They were excellent and did a great job. There was one problem on one of the doors on the hot water heater and they sent somebody out the very next morning and had it fixed. Everything was fine and there were no extra charges. If I need any such work done, I would cal them first.
