Dave was contracted to perform demo and framing along with custom kitchen work. He is proficient with his craft, was always on time and was happy to explain the process and how things were being done. He is very personable and easy to work with. He is a hard worker and listened to what we wanted without being condescending. He is a very good worker and easy to get along with.

They were running late and called to let me know where they were and what they were doing. They fixed the wobbly banisters (3). The drywall had to be cut to get to them but they re-dry walled & it looked great! They fixed a roof leak & a potential new leak & finished up another persons paint job in our living room. They did this all in 6 hours & cleaned up their mess before they left. THEY WERE GREAT!

He came by to give an estimate on the work I wanted done. I was really pleased with the way he handled the appointment.

We originally bought an Angie's List coupon for a day of contractor labor for $200. David Hunter came and spent an hour looking at proposed project, agreed we could do prep work to save money, and was pretty sure he could do the remodel in the time of 1/2 day two men (same as one day one man). He would bring an expert framer as the second man. We started prep work, opened our wall and found our first project unfeasible. David remained in contact, reminding us he owed us his labor. Today he came with a helper and installed a very heavy-duty tri-fold steel ladder for roof access. Did a great job, two men, half day (4hrs). I asked him to stay an extra hour and miter and install, caulk & paint some molding trim around the fold up ladder ceiling panel. And he also moved a light fixture that had been in the way of the install ceiling hole, and replaced it in better location. Last, he primed the caroling panel for me. Beautiful job. I paid him his fee if $60 for the extra hour ($30/man hr).

This is a busy crew so after scheduling weeks in the future, Dave and his crew set to work removing the existing 8-windows for donation to Habitat for Humanity. Then they installed screens, caulked and painted to finish the job.

Dave and his crew power washed all the concrete, patched cracks, then stained the concrete slate gray with numerous coats using Behr Premium Concrete Stain, an excellent product. Other than some minor issues with the crew cleaning up their drink cups and supplies at the end of each day, the job went smoothly and the concrete looks very good.

The job took longer than the deal I had paid for, which I fully expected. But I was given a good deal on the extra hours. The workers did a great job in the time that I was told in advance. All I had to do was prime and paint. I would use Hunter Builder in a heartbeat.

said on that It required some pre planning with grading and leveling,permits etc. David and his staff were creative but listened to details from us.His staff were polite and knew what they were doing .I felt the deal was extremely fair and well done .And the best deal is that my Wife loves the finished product,Enough said on that..It is nice to see that a young company can handle all of the moving parts that were needed. I will recommend them very very highly and i will use them again for future projects. Oh yeah they came in on Budget !!!!! Thanks Bob Dehler

I was very favorably impressed with how hard-working and professional David and all of his crew were. They showed up on time when they said they would be here - including weekends, with my agreement! - and worked very hard all day. I kept trying to get them to take a break, but except for one day when I ordered a pizza, they declined any rest breaks, except for a very short meal break when they were there for nearly 10 hours. There were a few scheduling issues, due to the fact that they got pretty busy, but that never became an issue for me; they told me when they would be here, and they were here promptly as promised. There was a problem with the iron work company showing up when they said they would, but David kept on them, and that was resolved to my satisfaction too. I would definitely recommend this company, and will not hesitate to use them again.

David is a detail oriented guy who does what he says. He's willing to stand behind what he does and the results are fantastic. We love the new look.

They were just fantastic. They were very nice, professional, right on time. Just excellent. Services were done extremely well. Price was great.

David Hunter and his helper, Patrick, arrived as scheduled, discussed the job and went to work immediately. They removed the gate entry door and frame, then removed the wood porch. Using a jack hammer, they removed the small concrete pad at the main entry doors. After cleaning the area, they put down concrete adhesive and started to pour new concrete for the new porch deck. Once completed with forms to define the front entry, they brushed the surface to prevent a slippery surface. After the concrete cured over a few days, they returned to epoxy color coat the porch and replaced the gated entry doors & frame. They cleaned up after themselves and we were very pleased. We will definitely bring them back for more work, driveway resurfacing and other jobs, in the future.

David and his crew are very professional. They performed work requested and the finished product was exceptional!

It went great!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't be happier with my addition. I have a laundry room now, master bedroom, office, and this huge amazing custom patio. I enjoyed working with David, he is so intelligent and really knows how to tackle every reconstructing situation. Always kept me informed and completed the job on schedule. David and company did an excellent job with our home addition. We love our new four seasons room. The project was completed on time at a price in line with the original estimate. The whole Hunter Builders team was focused on quality, and paid attention to details, sometimes staying after end of the workday to ensure that things were done right and that they'd be ready for the next step tomorrow. We couldn't have asked for better service, and we're thrilled with the end result. I was also happy that David emphasized that Hunter Builders is licensed, bonded, and insured. It gave me peace of mind to know that he had his bases covered and that I would not be held liable for an on-the-job accident. I really appreciated his professionalism and friendly service.
