When the inspector came to inspect the house we were interested he missed several areas where severe water damage had occurred. We called them to file a complaint about why this was not mention on the report and we were not made aware of the area till after a terrible rain storm that cause additional water damage. They are very hard to get ahold of via phone. They reply to emails a lot better but it takes them at least 2 weeks to respond. We had the inspector come back out to the house to look at the area he missed. He seemed very passive and not helpful in the slighted. We are receiving our money back from the house inspection and our issue is still not resolved. However, if we had known about the terrible customer service they provide I would have requested another company. We got this company through our realtor so BEWARE if your realtor says HouseMaster's are inspecting your house.... because they are bound to miss something and provide crummy customer service if questions arise.

The service was exceptional! They were quick to take my call and schedule an appointment. The inspector Michael was prompt, thorough, and very patient. He answered all my questions, even after the inspection when I called back with more questions. I have bought and sold many homes over the years and would highly recommend this company.

They don't answer their phones and don't return calls after leaving several messages, would not use again or recommend to anyone needing a home inspection. Could not get a copy of my home inspection after asking for it several times.

It was great!

In October I paid your company $471.63 for a home inspection. I was told by your employee that the roof was in good condition with no issues. Since the inspection I have had three roof leaks. One in the kitchen which has caused damage to the paint on a wall and in one the master bedroom which has caused drywall damage to the ceiling. Both of leaks were repaired yesterday. I was told by the person repairing the leaks that there were cracks in the tar and pooling of water. Today I found a third leak in my garage. I feel that the person who did the inspection did an unsatisfactory job as the realtor and I had to point out issues with the windows not working properly and previous water damage in the family room to your employee. I believe a closer inspection would have allowed me to have the roof issues resolved and paid for by the seller. Because I am now financially paying the price for his lack of attention to the roof.
