We were impressed with the service from Hoover's the moment Marshall Hoover, President, and Derek arrived. They were 15 minutes early and organized all of their equipment before even entering the house. The first thing I noticed was their attention to and respect for my home. They set up cleaning cloths and a tray upon which they put their shoes each time they entered my home from outside. Marshall and Derek had to install a filter in a vent above a tall staircase. We simply could not have done that. The men worked diligently for three and one-half hours, always respectful of where I was in the house and what I was doing, making sure they were not interfering. Everything went like clock work. We had had our vents cleaned by another company a year ago and were quite dissatisfied when that company raced through our house in 30 minutes. The contrast in service was striking, to say the least. At the end of the visit, Marshall gave us a referral to a place where we could buy filters for an excellent price. I asked how long Hoover's has been in existence and learned that the company started in 1992. This is an amazing company, and I cannot recommend Marshall and Derek highly enough.

I was not looking forward to the process of getting the 17 ducts cleaned, with all the equipment and mess. When Marshall and Derek arrived right on time, laid down a rubber tray, took their shoes off and put them in the tray, I relaxed. They were so pleasant, clean, and respectful of my furnishings, It was a delight. I had installed all new duct work in the crawl space 6 years ago when I switched to refrigerated air and had not given the ducts another thought. A recent fly infestation in the house made me wonder if something had gotten in and died, so I checked out Angie's list. I keep my house pretty clean and vacuum regularly, but the amount of debris - and dog hair - they pulled out of the ducts was amazing. The hand washed each register outside the house, instead of using my sink and splashing water everywhere. Marshall checked out the furnace, cleaned it, changed the filter and Derek vacuumed the intake area - two more things I had not thought of. And considering I have asthma, you would have thought this would be on my radar. Can't recommend highly enough.

Marshall was able to get me in the day I called due to a cancellation in his schedule (good for me!). He and Derrick came out and were both very professional. They set an arrival time between 1:00 and 2:00 and arrived at 1:00. Wow. They were respectful of our home. They put down a tray for their shoes and took off their shoes when coming in doors. They laid towels down as buffers to guard anywhere their hoses or extension cords might touch (walls, baseboards, furniture). No rub marks! They cleaned each vent and explained what kind of vent it was (mine was a flexible plastic) and what the best method of cleaning was for my type of vent. They removed and washed each vent and exhaust cover. They went the extra mile by cleaning the top of the fan blades in my bedroom. A tarp was placed over a guest bed that was under one of the vents. Marshall provided a replacement filter for my furnace along with a magnet that has a place to write in the date the filter was last changed with a dry erase marker (which he also provided). He and Derrick also cleaned out my dryer vent from both inside the house and from the roof top down. After the job was complete Derrick used a dust buster to clean up residual particles that had come out here and there. As a female I felt comfortable with both Marshall and Derrick in my home. They were both nice and helpful. The cost was $24 per vent + $15 per exhaust vent and $55 for my dryer (which would have been more if scheduled separately). The total was $388 before tax which was an additional $28.37 for a final cost of $416.37. I have allergies and pets and this was long overdue. It went well and was a pleasant experience for duct work cleaning : ) Marshall takes credit cards which made payment convenient. This took about 3 hours. Arrived at 1:00, left about 4:00. Marhsall and his helper, I think his name was Derrick, showed up on time -- at the end of their workday. Marshall also stocks a/c filters, so he changed mine (he sells them for $5, but he'll also tell you where he buys them, so you can get them when he's not there. They were friendly, informative (suggesting when things should be cleaned), he had recommendations for companies who can manage things he doesn't do. I'll definitely have them back this fall to clean the chimney.

Arrived within the scheduled period. One person went on the roof, removed the dryer vent cap and hooked up a machine, the other moved the gas, cleaned out the flex hose and vent pipe from the wall end, working with the roof cleaner. Received a long flat attachment for my vacuum hose and was shown how to clean the dryer's filter slot. Very satisfied!

The experience working with Hoover's has been great from the initial contact through the completion of service. Very knowledgeable and professional. We needing a deep cleaning in the air ducts after we purchased a home. Hoover's came highly recommended so we had them come and do the work for us. The service was fantastic and we encourage anyone looking for a company to clean air ducts to go with Hoover's. Cannot say enough good about this company and will DEFINITELY use them again.

I have never had a better experience with a company. Hoover did a great job cleaning ducts that had not been cleaned in 50 years. They were careful, hardworking, friendly, polite, punctual, and diligent. Mr. Hoover also gave us a dryer filter cleaning tool, coffee mug, replaced our furnace filter and gave us a magnetic note pad for the furnace, indicating the date of filter change--all at no extra charge. A++. I will definitely hire them again and recommend them to friends.

Marshall Hoover's three man crew, including Marshall himself, showed up in the agreed to time frame, which I think was a two hour window. So that was great. Communication was polite and very good. They thoroughly cleaned out the dangerous buildup of lint from our clothes dryer vent attacking it from both ends - at the dryer end and also from the tail of the vent on the roof. They were very careful not to track in any ice, snow or dirt when entering the house and also alerted me to undesirable debris they found on the roof and which they removed. THEY DID EXTRA THINGS THAT THEY DID NOT CHARGE US FOR! How great is that! We questioned Marshall about doing a complete, whole-house vent cleaning in the future and at that point he even helped me change the air filter while inspecting the dust buildup in the furnace, again no charge. I cannot guarantee that he does this for everyone, but maybe a good attitude by the homeowner goes a long way. Also Marshall is only one of three certified vent cleaners in all of New Mexico. Certification is optional and most companies don't bother. On top of that his pricing is very reasonable. I wouldn't call anyone else for vent cleaning. One of Marshall's men also cleaned out the lint from the bottom of the dryer. I would say he removed about 3 or 4 measuring cups worth of lint. Thank you Marshall and your crew!

They also I have never been so happy with an air duct cleaning service. Three associates arrived at my house on time and surprised me by bringing their own shoe tray so that they would not track mud and dirt into my house. They cleaned all of my air ducts - even the tricky flexible plastic ones - and even cleaned each individual register. They also vacuumed the floor underneath each vent when they were finished cleaning, replaced my furniture if they had moved it, changed the filters in my furnace (at no additional charge), and gave me winterizing covers for my exterior hose bibs (at no additional charge). They were friendly, professional, and clean-cut. I was comfortable having them in my house, and delighted that I did not have to spend a single moment cleaning up after them when they left.

Marshall and Derrick were professional, pleasant, helpful and efficient, and cleaned up after themselves faultlessly. Their equipment was nearly silent, and I was pleased and appreciative of the excellent service. Marshal Hoover is the man to call.

Personnel were courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. The air ducts were cleaned and they cleaned all my ceiling fans and bathroom exhaust fans for free. I would very highly recommend them for any of their services. It is very seldom that you run across service personnel that are this courteous and professional. It is almost a lost act but they have it in abundance.

Marshall Hoover and his assistants Derek and Moises arrived at the house promptly as scheduled, and the three of them did a thorough and efficient job cleaning out all of the heating ducts and the dryer vent (both from the dryer side and from the vent on the roof). I appreciated that Marshall took the time to answer all of my questions, and the final cost ended up being less than the original estimate. They also provided me with a neat tool to clean out lint beneath the dryer filter, as well as freeze-proof covers for my outside faucets. Hoover's team did great work, and they were so kind and polite, it was a pleasure to have them working in the house!

Three kind, considerate gentlemen showed up ten minutes early with ladders, long hoses, a large suction device and long brushes. I had no idea what to expect. They removed all the air vent panels and throughly cleaned every duct in the house (they were filthy from the previous owner) it looked as if they had never been cleaned. Because there wasn't a washer and dryer in the utility room, Mr. Hoover cleaned the dryer vent gratis and gave me a long vacuum attachment for future cleaner. It couldn't have gone better.

Three man crew provided same day service. I called the professionals when I discovered the Dryer vented to the roof. But these guys had no problem completely cleaning vent. I was very pleased with service.

I was very pleased with the work that Marshall and his assistants, Derrick and Moises, did at my house. They looked at what needed to be done and promptly began working, cleaning the ducts and all the vent covers. When they saw that the dryer vent was not functioning they replaced it with a new one. They were very helpful and polite. I have used Hoover Air Duct cleaning services in two previous homes and they have always been very efficient and courteous.

Marshall Hoover, along with assistants Derek and Moises, arrived at exactly the appointment time. They took off their shoes to do the initial look-around and put them on only to go outside. The assured me my nick-nacks and lamps would be fine. They covered furniture under the ducts, put coverings on the floors, and proceeded. Four hours later when they walked out the door, the house was spotless and I had a new furnace filter and a tool to clean the inside of the dryer where the lint catcher spills into the body of the dryer. I am on a do-call list for 18 months to have the dryer cleaned and 3 years to have the household ducts cleaned. I recommend Hoover Air Duct Cleaning without reservations.

Called Hoover's Duct Cleaning at the last minute when the Dryer stopped drying a load of clothes!!!! Marshall and his crew came out within an hour and gave us excellent service at a fair price!!! The Dryer vent was thoroughly cleaned out and now works great!!! I have used them in the past and have never been disappointed!!!

I contacted Hoover around July 22 and found the owner was on vacation at the time. Since it was not an emergency, we set an appointment for a week later at 5 PM. The appointment time was a bit surprising, but made no real difference to me. I am sure it would to a working person, however. I did not hear from Hoover's again until I called them the morning of the appointment to confirm they were still coming. Marshall Hoover (owner) confirmed and suggested they might get to my house earlier but that did not work out. Marshall arrived a little before 5 PM with two other assistants. He introduced himself and I steered him to where I thought the exterior dryer vent was while his assistant started to disconnect the dryer. Marshall quickly deduced that the vent was actually a bathroom fan vent and sent his other assistant to the roof where the correct vent was located. Once on the roof, the tech quickly noted that the dryer vent had the wrong cap on it, so it was replaced as part of the estimated cost. The tech, inside the house, also made corrections to the dryer connection at no extra cost. The entire job was completed within 30-45 minutes and each tech cleaned up his work area. Marshall checked everything to make sure all was in working order and that the work areas were cleaned up. He processed my credit card payment, gave me a dryer cleaning rod vacuum attachment, and emailed an additional receipt. All in all, it was a job well done with no unexpected issues or costs.
