They arrived on time and were pleasant and professional. I would have been happy if the ceiling seam was the only thing they fixed. That was mainly a one man job. The other man went through my house fixing other cracks, including a large ceiling crack in a back bedroom. At the end of the 2 hours (4 man hours) they would have stayed and finished some small repairs at an additional charge. I declined. They did a partial cleanup. They would have stayed to finish cleaning up, but since I had definitely gotten my hours out of them, I told them I would finish cleaning. They did exactly what I wanted them to do, and they did a very good job. I do recommend them, and would use them again.

They spent time working out the details with me re: the gate so it was the best possible location. Good solid post hole was dug and post was cemented in. They worked a long time on the cat door, it is kind of a patch work job but they did the best they could with what they had.

Excellent. They were prompt, polite and very professional. The pergola work was excellent. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.

I purchased a landscaping plan from Angie's list. Peter sent me an email through my Angie's list account and we scheduled the appointment for 3:30 on August 14. At 4pm I called him and he said he was working on a job and lost track of time. He asked for my phone number several times as he said he was putting it in his phone. We then worked out to reschedule for August 28 at 4:00. At 5:00, I called and got voicemail, so I left a message that we needed to talk refund. At 6:00, the doorbell rang. My husband and daughter were in the living room as I told him he was two hours late. His response was he had open time and drove all the way up here. He stated it wasn't easy to get out here. He questioned the appointment time until I brought up my computer that had the correspondence from him about the time. He said he was busy but here now. I said I would need reassurance that his work would not be like this, unreliable. I asked why he didn't call, he said he didn't have my number. I reminded him when I called on the 14th, he said he was putting it in his phone. I also told him I left a voice mail today when he didn't show with my number and he said he erases his voicemails quickly. I said I wanted a refund, he said talk to Angie's List then as he was leaving said "F*** You (that was heard by my husband and daughter as well) and slammed the door. Now he has sent me an email stating he has never been treated this way by an Angie's list customer.

The remodel went very well. Peter was easy to work with. He and his crew did the various jobs beautifully, had good senses of humor and worked very well together. They were all courteous and they did a good job of cleaning up. Peter is detail oriented so things really look good. They were very flexible and creative in solving unexpected issues that came up with a 37 year old house. There were issues involving floors that were not level, plumbing problems and many electrical problems that they had to deal with. Sometimes I changed my mind, or thought of other things that might be done. Peter explained the options and we worked on solving the problems together. Ideas changed from our initial meetings, and Peter always had a good attitude about the changes and additions. He guarantees his work. I definitely would call them again.

I told Hands On that I was really interested in getting the work done as soon as possible and that my schedule was very tight due to going out of town. When they had an unexpected opening in their schedule, they squeezed in my project. They worked quickly and effectively, and were even willing to go pick up supplies for the project at no charge. They cleaned up very thoroughly, which was a nice surprise given my experience with some other contractors.

I bought a big deal for this service and I am not using them. He seemed to be very busy right now. He said he had a death in the family and had sent me some type of proposal, but I never got it. I emailed him back and asked him to send it to me again, but I never got a response. He came out and was a really nice guy, but he never followed through. He was pleasant when he came out but I am not sure if he had the resources or manpower to actually take care of the job. It was a fairly large scale thing that I am having done and he just never followed through. I think his price was reasonable. I remember sending him an email and he was supposed to show up at a particular time. He didn't and said he had not read his email. Several days had passed so I guess he was really busy. When he did commit to showing up, he showed up on time. He seemed very professional, but he did not follow through.

I paid $279 for 4 hours of general contractor work from Hands On Co. I had a list of small jobs I needed done around the house, which I relayed to the owner at our initial meeting. When the workmen showed up at the appointed time, they hadn't been given a clear idea of what they were there for. They were anticipating a one-hour job, and as it was late in the day, we decided to reschedule for the following morning. They showed up on time the next day, and spent what seemed like a long time dragging all their stuff out of their trailer and into my front yard. In five hours (four plus an extra hour to clean up), the two men completed the installation of an interior door and swapped out the doorknob on the front door. They started, but weren't able to complete, some kitchen shelves I had wanted done. The foreman was friendly enough, but complained at length about everything I asked for. I had to work later that day, so letting them stay longer to finish the job wasn't an option. Really, by the end, I just wanted them to leave. The work they completed was of good quality. It's possible I was expecting too much, but I felt that they were rather slow at their work. Also, I didn't appreciate all the griping.

.After some communication issues we arranged to fix the roof of my shed. The necessary materials required a pick up truck to pick them up. After sending some pictures of the roof, we agreed to have the handyman buy and bring the supplies to my home for an extra fee. They came on time and fixed the roof.

They were great. There were two of them. There were no additional charges beyond the big deal amount. They did extra work in the yard. That was great. I highly recommend them. I will use them again. I had a couple of locks. One did upstairs and one did the downstairs. That was very efficient and quick. They are eager to do whatever you need. They cleaned up after themselves.

Crew did a great job and made the yard look fantastic at a reasonable price!

Fantastic! Better than expected! Handyman was a great guy. This helped us immensely to get our house ready to show.

Carlos and Brian arrived and after discussing different options for the marble shelf modification, went right to work. Probably the most difficult part of the faucet installation was getting the water shut off, but I don't fault them for how long it took as it probably has been a number of years since the shut-off valves were last used. They remained upbeat and after getting the water shut off, the install of the faucet was done quickly. The shelf modification went flawlessly and the toilet lid now fits very nicely. In all, they did a splendid job on both items and the faucet looks and works great. They even stopped the leak caused by the previous faucet stopper for no extra charge.

Great! They communicated well and services performed wonderfully.

They came right on time and were very friendly. Gave us a lot of different options as to what they could do and they did it all. We were very happy.

Wow and I really mean Wow. The owner sent two very hard working, friendly, professional, timely and efficient guys. It takes allot to impress me and these two were all over it. They never stopped and am very satisfied and happy with their work. Can't wait to have them back! Highly recommend them.

We had fired our contractors and had just a few things left on our remodel. Diego and Zack began by reading the directions! Then proceeded to patch the hole left by the fired contractor. They matched the texture, painted the wall and without any fanfare installed the cabinets. We were very pleased with their efficiency and professionalism.

I talked with the gentleman on the phone. He let me know he usually does bigger projects around the house and that this deal would not work for us. He was very nice on the phone and didn't try to upsale us to use him.

NOT PLEASED WITH MOST WORK. NOTHING SPECIAL.

they changed some high ceiling light bulbs that needed a tall ladder. They were on time, and the job was finished early.

As of April 22nd 2015: They didn't call they just showed up at 9:30am. I cancelled my 4 hours of work. That's when he said "You need to move all of this S*** for me get down to the ground. He was very unprofessional. I don't appreciate my stuff being called S***. He's a big guy and was trying to figure out how to get to the thing. Very insulting. He is operating a business and did not have a set time he just showed up. He asked when to set the timer I told him I to set the drip system on Monday Wednesday and Friday and set it to Tues, Thurs, and Saturday. It took forever to get it right. So i paid him for doing it wrong and then making it right. He now talks down to me. I would not hire this guy again. Update: April 23, 2015 He sat and worked on the drip system to set it and he assured me that it would go off at the appropriate times. The system did not work yesterday and it does not work today. This provider told me yesterday, "do not call me again!" He showed up at 9:30 am without a scheduled appointment. I had to cancel four hours of work to help him try to fix this. His language was horrible while working with him. He told me that I needed to "move all of this #^%$^!" He was very unprofessional. Especially when he arrived at an unscheduled time. I indicated in my original review that this guy can think outside of the box; but I had to tell him four times how he should fix the pipe. He is a smart guy but his attitude/manner is not professional.

On time, worked the full time, and completed the job as expected.

It went very well. They accomplished all the tasks in the one hour and then went a step further to hang a ceiling fan. Peter has also given me some feedback on another couple of jobs I want them to do for me. I feel pretty confident that they can do any job I would ask them to do.
