HEIGHTS KEY LOCK & SAFE, Inc.

I called Heights Key Lock and Safe when I was looking to replace a deadbolt lock. I was referred to them by several hardware stores who spoke highly of their service and product lines. They employees at Heights Key Lock and Safe were very knowledgeable and advised me on the model most suitable to my needs. I picked up the lock at their store and brought them other locks to re-key. They were very busy on the day I visited the store, so the entire process took quite a bit longer than they initially had quoted me. Still, this is the first place I will go next time I need to replace a lock or have keys made. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I have an old 1994 automobile and the keys worked in the ignition but not the trunk, so I decided to get a new key. The staff was helpful, friendly and available. I did not have to wait other than for the grinding of the key. The staff was helpful, they answered some of my other questions about locks, chains and security products that they had for sale.

The service was oustanding. The locksmith arrived right on time, assessed what was needed and set to work. He worked quickly and efficiently and did a great job. I recommed the company highly and would use again.

Installing the new front door hardware, re-keying four other door locks to match, and making four spare keys went smoothly and quickly. Unfortunately, Tony had trouble re-keying the steel, hollow core storage room door. Because we have never had a key to that door, he had to pick the lock to get to the cylinder. As he was not able to pick it, he had to drill out a couple of pins. While re-assembling the new lock mechanism, he dropped a small part down inside the hollow core door. Tony made a replacement part using tools and equipment in his van. Ultimately, he was able to re-key the locks on the storage room door. Tony did not charge us for the time spent trying, unsuccessfully, to pick the storage room lock, or for his time to make a replacement for the part he lost. That, to me, demonstrates integrity on the part of Heights Key Lock and Safe.

when they arrived the evaluated all the work they needed to do. They determined that they needed to go back to their shop to get some materials because some of the locks in the doors were not working, so they had to change them completely. They went back, got the materials, and returned to our house. They did an excellent job.

We sold our house and had to provide the new owner with several sets of keys. Instead of going to my local Home Depot or Lowe's, I decided to get the keys made at Heights Key, Lock and Safe because I know that they don't make mistakes, and I was on my way to the closing! As usual, Heights Key, Lock and Safe made keys that worked well -- no duds, no returns. They are more expensive than the big retail boxes, but I've never had a problem with the keys they make. Also they sell great keychains at their retail outlet.

I have lived in my house for over two years, but never had the keys to an old security door on my back porch. Being an older door, the lock shape had become uncommon. So rather than replace it, I decided to get new keys made. Heights Key Lock & Safe caught my eye because they are in the neighborhood and got good reviews. Plus, they have a cool key-shaped sign! I left the lock with them overnight and got a good working pair of keys back the next day. (Spent about $20 for two keys.) Good price, nice people.

We had a broken front door lock. It use to take 5 or more minutes to open the front door. Our grandchildren could not open the door. The Heights locksmith fix the lock with an excellent resuilt.

The company came out less than 24 hours after I called, was exactly on time, finished quickly but showed quality work and was extremely professional but also friendly. I'm from a small town in the pacific northwest where everyone knows everyone and this type of service is the rule rather than exception. This is the first time I've gotten that kind of "small town" service in a city!

They were excellent. They changed six locks for less than $200 and I was surprised with the price as it was pleasant. They were very punctual and prompt. They did the job very quickly and I was very pleased with the price.

We left the key to our garage in Placitas inside and the door opener was not working. We called Heights Key in ABQ, and they had a man there in less than 2 hours (we live 45 minutes from ABQ in the Eastern part of Placitas on a gravel road). He was able to open the lock in about 15 seconds, we retrieved our key, made a duplicate, and he was on his way. I have used this company many times over the years; they have NEVER let me down. They always show up; they are professional, and the keys they make ALWAYS fit--no having to push it in a certain way or wiggle it while twisting. You can't go wrong here.

I called Heights Key Lock and Safe to re-key all the outside doors on a house we just purchased in the East Mountains. Larry called as he was enroute and arrived on time. He was very professional and very quick. He re-keyed 12 locks and made 5 key copies in about 45 mintues! Definintely a great service from a very good company.

We had an estimate for this service in Thursday. When we agreed to do the work a dispatcher called us within an hour to book the service time. We were able to receive service on Saturday so I didn't have to miss work. Our locksmith, Tony, arrived on time and completed the whole house within 30 minutes. He was courteous, professional and understanding (as I had two small children running around). The locks all work perfectly and we felt like we received quality work, and excellent customer service. I would call him again in the future and recommend him to others.

Went great, showed up on time. Next time I'll schedule more work at one time to make use of the flat $45 trip fee.
