The employee did a very good job, was on time, worked hard with no wasted time, completed on time, cleaned up his mess (bad word), did everything in a very timely fashion. Note: this is my second time using this company.

They did the job and finished the work. They had to find the reset button in the back yard for the bathroom.

Even though this was basic electrical work, the electrician was prompt, courteous and as long as there was time left on the service call took care of a few extras within the alloted time.

However, the electrician from Harder found the problem and fixed it--all within my Angie's Big Deal price. He was very professional and did an excellent job.

Dave arrived to give me an estimate on Friday. I was fortunate that they were able to fit me in the following Monday morning, perhaps because the work entailed was not extensive. They arrived promptly at the appointed time and the work was done within a couple of hours. I was quite pleased with the final result.

We had an appointment for 1:30 but Dave called and asked if he could come earlier. We settled on 11:30. He was on time, very personable & clean cut. He seemed to know about the furnaces and completed his work in short order. I did not feel rushed. He was very responsive to questions and also helped us change batteries and program thermostats. He did not leave a mess and made sure we had no more questions before leaving. I was able to pay him with a credit card which was convenient for me and I'm going to have him do my house in about a week. This was just the first service with this company but I am very satisfied so far. It's great to know he does electrical work also because I have a few projects that need doing around the home that he can take care of while he is here.

I was very satisfied with what they did. They are very honest and do an excellent job. They tell you what's really wrong and don't try to pull any wool over your eye.

David Harder was very professional, and very helpful. He discussed options and ended up providing quote for several different options. His prices were reasonable and there was follow-up all along the way. We were very impressed and would definitely contact Harder Electrical & Mechanical for any future work that needed to be done, and would recommend them to anyone looking for HVAC services.

We had spoken with Dave Harder last year for quote. This spring we made the decision to move forward with this purchase and installation. My husband bought the unit outright and called Dave for a date for installation. Dave is and always has been MORE than punctual! If he says 8:30, count on him at 8:15! We set the time and date and Dave and his crew of 2 were there. They started on Thursday and completed all work on Tuesday. They were a pleasure to have in our home. They were always courteous and made sure when they were cutting drywall or doing any work in the attic, that things anything that could be harmed or soiled, were completely covered with tarps or cardboard. They worked great as a team effort. When the job was complete, Dave walked through the entire process with me, explaining what they had done and why. He programmed the new thermostat and explained it. They placed the old master cool and gas furnace in a place where it would be easy for us to show them for sale. They cleaned up all debris and took metal to recycle. This was a very pleasant experience, which is always difficult when you lose electricity for most of one day and lose gas for several hours. They made the entire process seamless!

The electrician arrived on time and was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Her preformed a complete electrical inspection of my home: checked both breaker boxes, checked electrical outlets, confirmed that my GFIs were working properly in three bathrooms, and reconnected/tested the electrical wall heater in one bathroom.

Dave came out the same day and looked a my demand water heater surging when operating. Dave called the manufacture's tech support and found out an adjustment was need for the attitude my house is at. After a quick adjustment. my water heater is running great. Call Dave. He and his entire staff are the best.

These were great folks to have working for me.

Dave Harder, the owner, came out to my home on 01/13 and after answering all my questions and providing his recommendation gave me a written estimate. I reviewed it and agreed to go ahead with the installation. He and his crew arrived 01/17 and did the job. They were prompt, efficient, and friendly. They kept me up-to-date on what they were doing and why. When they finished they checked the unit out and cleaned the areas they worked on. I was very impressed overall with the job they did. The thermostat that was installed with the unit later failed and Dave came out on a Sunday and replaced it. Another problem occurred afterward and Dave came out with the Heil rep and a Heil technician. They jointly tested every component and found the problem and fixed it. They were quite helpful in explaining exactly what they were doing and why to remediate the problem. Now it is working properly and no other problems have arisen. Dave is very conscientious and accommodating, more so than any other electrician I have had experience with. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

Arrived on time and did a great job quickly. Would have been only $99 for 2 hours of work but hardware store had me buy all the wrong stuff so I needed to buy all the items for new outlet from them. He did all the work in less than an hour so I would certainly be wiling to pay regular rate.

My father attempted to replace my broken doorbell... the combination of wires and a drill resulted in the need for professional assistance. A friend recommended Harder. I called on a Monday and was scheduled for Thursday (I indicated that I was not in any hurry at all). James arrived on time. He was friendly, but professional, and he was nice to my dog. He fixed both the door bell and a fried outlet very quickly and both now work perfectly. The estimate James provided for additional work was much less than an estimate received from another company for less work. He said he could do the work I requested, but suggested a more affordable alternative that will work better than what I thought i wanted. Summary: James was fast, friendly, and fixed what was broken. The estimate he provided was for a more affordable and effective alternative than what I requested. I highly recommend Harder Electric (and James) as an honest company that gets the job done right.
