I got a very good impression from this company, though they didn't perform work. The woman scheduling the service call was extremely accommodating and worked to get someone out as quickly as possible. The man who came was very punctual and knowledgeable, as well as friendly. He quickly provided a quote that I felt was a fair price, explained all of my options, all of the features of the doors. We chose to repair our door rather than replace at this time, but if we were to replace the door I would be happy to go with this company.

Very easy to work with - had a few gliches that they took care of without complaint. Price was excellent. We are extrememly happy.

The windows were installed on a beautiful warm October day where the sun was shining brightly. I could already feel the way the low E keeping it from getting to warm inside the house and the sun was not to bright. I wanted to try them out before I ordered the rest of the windows for the house. They look good from the outside and inside. They were ready within 10-14 days. I considered changing the size on 2 of the windows before they were built and the person I talked to was helpful. I liked the family owned personal care I received from them.

This was five years ago but I remember that they were on time, professional, did a good job, I received exactly what I ordered and I have been very pleased with the windows. The windows are vinyl, double pane, and with UV protection. I have had no problems with them whatsoever.

The sales representative was punctual and provided a quote in a timely manner. Windows and door were completed on schedule as promised. The installation was very professional and the crew did an excellent job of cleaning up at the end of each day. I am very pleased with the service provided

My only complaint was that the windows were shipped to our house in a back of the truck with no protection. I did notice a few minor scratches right away but nothing so bad that I should have returned/rejected the window. I did have one door installed by a big box start prior to my windows and the service/installation/communication were night and day. Glass-Rite is a great local company. Since I have had my windows done, numerous neighbors have inquired about them and some have had them installed. Great job!

I have an older stucco house and the windows and sliding door were original, aluminum frame, single pane windows; horrible in the summer sun and worse in the winter cold. I called around to no less than 8 companies for pricing, quotes and demos of their windows and doors for replacement. What I found was the following: 1) The quality of the Glass-Rite windows are as good as anything else out there and better than most2) Their pricing is lower than most3) The windows are manufactured right here in Albuquerque4) The gentleman who provided the quote was able to make it within a day from my initial call and was friendly, congenial, low-pressure, and very informative. After careful consideration of all the options, word of mouth recommendations, and Angie's List reviews, I went with Glass-Rite. After my call to inform them of my decisions, the same gentleman was able to come back to my location the following day where we signed the paperwork and made the down payment. I was told to expect to receive a call in about 4 weeks after the windows were made so that a day could be scheduled. The call came three weeks later and a week after that the windows were installed. The crew that came out were courteous and very professional. They used tarps to ensure no dirt, glass or particles made a mess inside or outside the house. They were able to install all 8 windows and the door in about 7 hours (including a short lunch break). When they were done, there was no sign that they'd been there except for my new windows and door; no dirt, no debris, no trash. The windows looked amazing, inside and out. As for function, I noticed and immediate difference. Even when the curtains or blinds are left open, the sun shining through does not heat the room like it used to. The house stays about 4 or 5 degrees cooler all day which is phenomenal - I do not have to run the AC nearly as much. When I have the windows shut, I can hear almost nothing from outside. Lastly, I received an unexpected call yesterday from Glass-Rite informing me that they had a replacement glass for me (free of charge as it's all warranty work). Apparently, there was a small, almost unnoticeable scratch on one of the panes. I had not noticed it for the full week I've been looking through the window, and yet the installer did, reported it, and got the replacement ready. The installer just left after spending less than 30 minutes replacing the scratched window pane. This company could have gotten away without saying anything or replacing this glass as the scratch was so insignificant that I probably would never have noticed or cared if I had. However, they did. In an era where immediate profits are the goal and long-term service takes a back-seat, Glass-Rite has shown they are committed to quality products, excellent service, and dedicated support for their products. If I could rate them higher than an A, I would. You simply *cannot go wrong with Glass-Rite* if you need replacement windows or doors.

I wanted clear glass. Not many companies make that anymore. I also wanted locally made windows (Albuquerque) made near my elevation of 7,000 feet (Santa Fe). This company satisfied both needs. They arrived on time, put in full day's work and cleaned up at the end. The windows have good insulation and after some months of living with them, still look good and work fine. Only issue was with the installation. I can understand that the salesman may not have been able to address an issue of how the windows would fit the openings till the old windows (original) were removed. In my case, little strips of vinyl with caulk were put in all around the windows to close up the openings. If I had known that was to be the case, I would have spent more to have the windows reframed. When I saw what they were doing, I complained. They told me this was a common occurrence in many houses. Nonetheless, they were unable to amend the contract to satisfy my desires and/or do this work. Still not happy about that result. As I am new to home ownership and dealing with home improvement companies, I am learning that salesmen may not be 100% reliable in informing the customer of the final results of the job. I guess it is up to the customer to ask if I am going to end up with dweeby little pieces of plastic around all of my windows.

I designed the window size, location and chose awning for the type. They made the window to my specifications, cut a hole in the wall, installed and reframed the window. I am very happy with the result. They did it in a timely manner and cleaned up after the work. It looks great!

Jerry came out twice; first to quote a price and secondly to measure windows and draw up our contract. He was professional, amiable and did not try to push us into anything. He simply asked what we wanted, gave us an estimate and answered our questions. His easy-going style was a welcomed experience as opposed to the hard-sell or apathy of other window companies. The installers were on time, neat, courteous and professional. They reinstalled an air-condition window unit free of charge and cleaned up after themselves. An added bonus it is that the windows are made in Albuquerque, so everything contributed to the local economy. We plan to go with Glass Rite next year when we replace the rest of the windows.

I was very apprehensive, but it went like clockwork. Everyone was professional and on time and informative. They worked with our other contractors and the installation of 16 windows went smoothly. We are very happy with the product and highly recommend this company and their topnotch employees. We wanted to work with an Albuquerque business with a good reputation and a warranty for our windows. We got all of that!

To Glass-Rite's credit they were able to send someone out to give me a quote on very short notice. Unfortunately, they sent a salesman with bad knees who couldn't climb a ladder to measure the clerestory windows. He was sold on the vinyl framed windows since they have a lifetime warranty. He invited me to their showroom to see their durability. He also had a few windows in his truck to show to me, along with plenty of brochures. He suggested single-hung windows to replace picture windows around the house since they were less expensive. He wanted to go inside to get a sense of how far off the floor the windows went, which windows needed to be tempered glass, and the kind of refinishing that was going to be needed inside, but I was reluctant to give him access, and didn't. I had lost confidence. He calculated the immediate need windows on the spot, found a miscalculation and fixed it. He emailed me the rest of his complete quote a day later than he said he would. Prices were slightly higher, but competitive. We were referred to Glass-Rite for windows by one of the roofers who gave us a quote and with whom we ultimately used. And the reviews on Angie's List were encouraging as well.

Prompt response for estimate, but it took 5 weeks for the window to be built. Installer was punctual.

I did not have enough money to do all the windows. A lot of guys came out and would do the whole house but they would not give me break down for the windows. I could have done the whole job but they quoted me a real high price and gave me a big deduction but it was still more than the glass price. This guy gave me break down for three windows, what it would cost with the dividers in the windows, so that I could go through and say I could do these windows and it’s inside my budget. They came out and did a real professional job in putting them in. They had quality products and they did what they said they were going to do. I would absolutely use their services again in the future.

Don't get new windows in a snowstorm!

They prmptly came out and gave me an estimate. When I was ready to install windows, they got me on the schedule quickly. The employees are friendly and helpful. Their products are great and their service is fantastic. I've used this company before and would use them again.

Estimator was thorough and professional and answered all questions. Installation was on schedule and cleanup was complete. Good experience. i thought it would be more disruptive than it was. The cats didn't escape!

It went really well. I’m happy with the window. I’m pretty happy with everything. They did reasonably well. The guy who came to give an estimate was here when promised. It was all straight forward and easy to set up. We knew in advance what we would be getting. It was all installed the way it was promised. We were happy with them. We would use them in the future.

They were excellent and the quality of work was great. They have been in business for a long while and were very accommodating. It took them one day to put in the windows.
