Phil came out 3 times in a 2 week duration. He spent no more than 2 hours total. I paid him $700, up front, (foolishly, because he was recommended by a "friend," and I mistakenly thought he was trustworthy.) The new mini splits, which are less than year old, were easily remedied. However, the old cooler has refused to go below 76 degrees, without freezing...and then dying. Since he worked on it the first day, I have tried to get him to respond to fix the old cooler. That is when he became evasive, and refused to budget the time to diagnose and repair the situation. This went on for 3 weeks...even though I paid him in advance for a year's worth of care..thereby indicating that I was ready to invest in his services. He then stated that that might need $10,000. worth of work, and I should be content at 76 degrees, since he was busy with other people who had no AC. I spent a couple of weeks trying to convince him to return, since...after all... I have refrigerated air, and I should be able to set it at 70 degrees if I need to. He intentionally avoided responding to me, only responding to about..an average of 5 texts a week from me...I'd get one intentionally evasive one back from him. I finally asked for all or some of my money back when finally, after two weeks of begging..he refused to give me a time of his arrival, and after leaving the 2 people I got to cover my house to receive him while I was at important doctor's appointments..he (claims to have,) come by, at 6:30 pm, when he knew I was gone...and did nothing. After waiting a month to try to get my money back, I had a different company come in to do the ACTUAL REPAIR and they found that although Phil cleaned the outside coil, after charging me $700. (which I foolishly gave to him in good faith,) he failed to look inside and clean the other two filters. The new fellow, who WAS HONEST, cleaned the inside filters, in an hour, and the a.c. was up and running. So....Phil never looked at the whole device, even though I trusted him and paid him $700. up front...and he then blew me off for weeks. He actually had the unmitigated gaul to tell me I was "crazy," (a term I have found many verbally challenged men to resort to,) because I stood up for my family, and told me I should have been happy at 76degrees....after I paid him $700. UP FRONT. So..in total...I paid $700. to a liar and a conniver, and then, I had to pay almost $300. to another fellow who was honest. A $300. job cost $1,000!!!! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will take your money and run!

This isn’t true this rooftop machine hadn’t been serviced in over 8 years and when I was introduced to her through a friend she asked for a specific date for me to come which I agreed to and then she begged for me to Come sooner as it was getting Hotter so I agreed to make room in my schedule to Come. When I did this is when I found the machine to have been extremely dirty on the outside coils. The inside coil was a complete block of ice like about 4 inches thick all around. Refrigerant and overall visual inspection of indoor coil could not be done due to the amount of ice. The outdoor coils were properly cleaned And unit looked brand new however due to the indoor coils being froze the unit had to defrost for the remainder of the day. The next day She asked if she could turn it on since it was hot and I couldn’t come out till the afternoon and i told her to try it and she did in which it worked fine for that day and 3 more days until eventually it was froze again by the time I arrived to inspect it for the second time. Again the unit was froze and had to be defrosted once more. I told her I would be back to inspect it the next day but since I couldn’t be there until late afternoon she totally lost it and cancelled the appointment. I have all the text messages of her using very vulgar language and saying very unbelievable comments. Supposed to a be school teacher and a good example for our children and In charge of our kids and I wish I could express how she was talking but can’t use that kind of language in this website. She knows what’s she’s saying isn’t true and she was refunded for the preventive maintenance she didn’t want to do anymore and I only charged her for the repairs I did do. She’s fabricating this whole story because The friend who introduced me to her is no longer in her life and she’s taking it out on me. Unfortunately due to safety reasons and unstable conditions we will no longer provide service there.

[Member Name Removed] sorry you feel the way you do but you know all this is a fabrication and lie. I have all The texts to prove what your saying never happened and also to show the language you used was very upsetting and very vulgar and surprises coming from a teacher none the less. I got called to your place to fix 3 units that had Been not working for weeks. When I arrived I found a rooted main unit that had not been serviced in over 8 years. It was completely plugged with debris and frozen with layers upon layers of ice. The back mini split units were empty of refrigerant and were not working at all. Your house was 85 degrees before I started. I charged up the back two units and got them going within :20 minutes if me being there. I told you there was nothing I could do till the other main unit defrosted. I left it to defrost for that day and returned the very next day to inspect. It had thawed and cooling was turned on and all pressures and temperatures were at the correct parameters. You agreed that day that it was working and it worked for 2 days straight after that Until you text the 3rd day saying you had forgot you left it on 70 the entire day but you weren’t home all day until the night and when you got home it was 84 in the front area and I told you more than likely you froze it. I instructed you to defrost it and try again in the morning in which you did and I told you to leave it on 76 because your unit had been through a lot in those 8 years of not being serviced. You have exposed ductwork on the roof that’s missing insulation. It’s smashed in a lot of spots and needs a lot of work. When we first met you asked if they needed to be replaced to just replace them and I went ahead and repaired them instead to save you that cost. I told you other companies would have just came and charged you $10,000-$15,000 and replaced them without even messing with what you had there. When I told you I would be back I Friday to troubleshoot that unit you were fine with it and because I couldn’t come earlier

Description of Work: Mr. Sanchez came to my home on the same day that I called to make the service appointment. He maintained communication about his ETA, which is hugely important to me. While Mr. Sanchez was here he showed me everything that he was doing and explained to me, step by step, his process. He performed the repairs efficiently and got my AC unit up and running, relieving my weekend of hellacious temperatures. I can not say enough GREAT things about Mr. Sanchez. I've already been referring GIMESUM to my family and friends, as I would not hesitate to call Phil for all of my heating and cooling needs.

Worked very hard to install the unit, fix the wiring, set up thermostat and clean up. Due to wiring complications work spanned nearly two days. Very happy with the results.
Description of Work: Installed a new heater and A/C combined unit and thermostats. Fixed wiring from old individual heater and swamp cooler units and their thermostats.
