Misdiagnosed a simple leak...said it was a more serious and expensive problem. Was late turning in inspection report.

After I first started using the heating system, I soon realized the system was not functioning properly. I tried calling the company directly. However, I always got a recorded message, left messages, and got no call back. I finally called my contractor to complain. Apparently the contractor was able to contact Gallipoli, and I finally received a call back to schedule service. What followed was a series of service calls that stretched out over the entire fall and winter. Each time, Mr. Gallipoli (Sr.) would come out and do something, but he was never able to successfully resolve the problems. Meanwhile, my heating bills were extremely high (much higher than those of friends of mine who also had radiant heating and comparable homes), while certain rooms seemed to be getting no heat at all. Finally, as the end of the one-year warranty period was approaching, the younger Mr. Gallipoli came out and discovered (apparently for the first time) that the thermostats had been set improperly (presumably by the installers, not me). It actually turned out to be a very simple fix. After several months of frustration, the system finally began functioning properly, and I have had no problems since. But why it took so long to get a correct diagnosis and resolution of the problem, I'll never understand.
Description of Work: Provider installed a radiant heating system in my new house which was completed in March 2009. The company was hired by my general contractor to do the work, so I do not know what the actual charge was for the services provided. My involvement with the provider began after I moved in when the system did not perform properly and troubleshooting service was provided under warranty.

Description of Work: I'm in Real Estate and I have recommended Gallipoli on several occasions. I have also used them on my own radiant system but it has been years ago. I feel they are one of the most knowledgeable Contractors here. (concerning radiant floor systems).
