He does a lot of research to get the best deal. Very through. He always comes on time, and follows through on everything. He is very knowledgeable.

He came out to check on what was needed on 2-1 when he replied to my call for repair. Returned for 1 pm appointment next day at 1250 pm, went right to work. He fixed it and cleaned up work area afterward. Prompt, professional excellent repair man. Hal is at the top of my list to call for repairs next time!

Both jobs went very well. Hal was quite knowledgeable about the construction, he had all the right tools, he worked efficiently, and he cleaned up afterward. He was also a perfectionist about doing the work right. He purchased or provided the needed materials, and he always showed up exactly when he said he would. The final price was quite reasonable considering the amount and quality of work.

When I first called Hal, he was prompt in returning my call. He made an appointment to come give me an estimate. On the day of the estimate, he called when he was on his way and was here right afterwards. He looked around and give me an estimate which I accepted. He then made an appointment for doing the work. On the day the work was to be done, he arrived right on time. He had done some of the work in his shop at home and installed what he had done. He then did the rest of the work in a timely manner. He was friendly, professional, polite and an excellent worker. My biggest complaint when I have workers here is the mess they make and if they clean it up. Although he made only a little mess from sawing some wood, he was wonderful about cleaning up every area in which he did any work. I will definitely call him again any time I need something done.

Waited all day for call back only to find out that he does not like going into Rio Rancho. This should have been stated in his description and I would not have wasted my time waiting for his call back.

I called Hal on Tuesday for this work and he was able to respond the following morning at 9:30. He arrived early and went straight to work. He had little difficulty removing the over the range microwave. Then he took measurements for installing the vented hood vent and drilled the necessary screw holes. The provided screws would not work so he used toggle bolts he had. After some frustrating moments trying to match up the hood to the toggle bolts, he was finally able to complete the installation. The next challenge was hooking up the venting which required a vent reducer and elbow. He got it all done and everything looks great. He cleaned up everything, used a vacuum and helped put the range back into place. He was friendly and worked efficiently. I would call him again for services.

Arrived right on time, was responsive to my needs, gave good suggestions, good social interaction, pleasant demeanor, skilled with all tasks. Was on site for six and a half hours with no break.

I couldn't be happier. He designed a support that really does the job. The fact that the price was very reasonable added to my happiness. I will be using him many time in the the future.

It is not the first time I used him and today he was really good. His way of dealing with me as a customer was excellent.

The one that I finally got on Angie's List was Fix It 4U. He is the one that installed the door. He did it all in one day. My experience with this provider was wonderful. He did a great job. He did what he said he was going to do. We looked into another company to do it but they were quite more expensive. And then he came and he got a door and we had a little dog door in the bottom of the back door. He reinstalled that very well. He had to rebuild the frame of the door. We have a real old house and he reframed the whole door and installed a new one. What stood out the most about him was the protection with him and the price. I would recommend him highly for anything because he does all sorts of things. He does a little bit of plumbing and any kind of small jobs. I would recommend him for anything. I would rate him excellent.

Excellent. I thought this was going to cost me a fortune, but it cost me nothing but a little time. He could have charged me to come out and look at the problem. Instead, he just told me how to easily fix the problem and I fixed it.

Came over twice because of the unusual design of the cabinet fixture part that I ordered. Solved incompatibility problems that had me foiled. Refused to take more money when it was offered. Competent and friendly and prompt.

He was excellent and I would highly recommend! The doors that were delivered by the door company did not exactly fit the existing door openings and he did a fantastic job of adapting the doors to fit. We were very happy with the results.

I would have to grade as 'incomplete', since I never heard back from this provider. Can't fairly grade on quality of work and price, but can give low marks on professionalism. People pay to be on Angies List and expect its providers to be professional.

He really made an effort to get my swamp coolers set up the right way -- which meant removing part of a fence because they we're put in incorrectly.

Showed up on time. Did work at estimate. Looks high quality. Easy to work with. Only issue is that only way to reach him is by phone (no email for that purpose).

Hal did a wonderful job. Very responsive and efficient.
