He was thorough, explained everything he was doing. He had to go through a bedroom wall, but he took the time to find out how I used the electricity in the bedroom before installing the outside outlet. He wanted to find the most cost-effective way to get my project done, and I really appreciated it.

They did a good job. They were always on time which is kind of rare these days.

Went extremely well, Antonio is always very professional and does an excellent job. He takes the time to explain hazards, and what he and his crew are doing. The original owners of my house installed a non-compliant plug for the electric dryer, however, I was never informed about this until Antonio did his review. Antonio was able to switch over from the old set-up to the new one in about 4 hours after PNM cut over the new line. Great excuse for my Daughter and I to go out shopping!! Work was done as expected, promptly and with professional, courteous service.

Antonio checked an outlet which didn't work, went to a wall switch and flipped the toggle that I had never used, and, Voila!, electricity was restored. I had never realized that a wall switch controlled an outlet 12 feet away. Suddenly my computer, stereo system and a lamp worked again. He also explained why my iron made the ceiling light dim when the iron cycled on and off, and that correcting this situation might entail a re-wiring of the house, which I chose not to do. It is enough to know that the situation is not dangerous. Antonio was very helpful and professional. I would hire him again.

This was "The Big Deal" on Angies List. After signing up for the deal, Five Star Electric e-mailed us within a couple of hours to acknowledge the deal and to set up a time for installation. We picked the time most convenient for us. Antonio and assistant showed up exactly on time. Based on our entire experience with Five Star Electric, I would definitely rate price, responsiveness, punctuality, professionalism and quality of work as excellent. They even took the time to answer a couple of electrical questions we had with our house. I would definitely use Five Star Electric again and would definitely recommend them to family and friends.

They were able to get the lights working again! They discovered that the light switch wiring was installed wrong in one room. The second room they took down the ceiling fan to find a loose connection. They reinstalled the ceiling fan and everything works.

They were very professional and everything was done correctly.

I was running just a few minutes behind and Antonio was already here waiting! He was able to remove and replace the ceiling fans in less than an hour and was extremely pleasant, cleaned everything up after he was done. I would certainly use this service again!

First off I called in the am and they were able to come around noon. On time found problem and gave me a couple of options. Repaired, very courteous and professional. Asked for card will definitely use again.

The problem was diagnosed, and found to be the motor on the fan. A replacement motor was available in the contractors vehicle so no waiting was necessary. The repair was efficiently performed.

Great! Antonio and helper showed up 15 min. early, got right to work. Fast and efficient, respectful, left everything neat and tidy and most importantly - working better than ever.

I wasnt able to use the deal because I am out of the contractor's service area. They were very nice in getting back to me right away.

Purchased an Angie's list big deal for ceiling fan installation for $79. Electrician dealt with my wife while I was at work. Charged $80 additional to put in box where light fixture was removed. Less than 1 hour of labor total doubled the price. Would not have happened had I been home. Would have cancelled big deal before being ripped off like this. Will never use 5 star electric and will never buy another Angie's list big deal.

Did not like how it was installed. - he did not put it in the wall so box looks ugly and I will probably have to fix it since it is falling off the wall.

I had fuses blown 3 times in recent months and saw the Deal for replacing fuse boxes for about $800. I called Five Star and explained that I had seen the Deal on Angie's List but I wasn't sure if that's what I needed. Antonio and his Helper came promptly at the appointed time and checked out the particular outlts that had caused the fuses to trip. He found some irregulatities and replaced them, I also was concerned about an entry way light fixture that made a noise when an LED light was used. He diagnosed that problem, fixed it- all for one hour of labor- $90.95. I inquired about changing my garage fixtures to grounded outlets, and he told me he could do that, but what is really needed to comply with the Code would be to install conduits and gave me an estimate to do do it correctly. He could have sold me a whole fuse box Deal, or charged me to change outlets, but instead, saved me several hundred dollars. I appreciate such honesty and will definitely call him again.

The installation was a coordinated effort between the electrician and my sprinkler maintenance contractor. The sprinkler man dug the trench and buried the cable, and the electrician completed the installation and wired it all to code. The total effort was a success. The estimate was good and complied with. Work was promptly done and excellent quaility.

It took the 5 star folks about an hour to remove the old fan, install the new fan and clean up. they did an excellent job and we will use them again!
