 + -1 moreI purchased an old spinet piano from a friend, and a co-worker recommended this company rather than a regular moving company. They were pleasant, showed up when they promised, and were very careful with the piano. They obviously knew what they were doing, and the price was very reasonable. They even said I could call back and they would stop by and move the piano a few inches in either direction if I didn't like the exact location. I would definitely use them again.

 + -1 moreI called expert Piano Movers for help moving my digital piano (has a hardwood exterior so VERY heavy) from my old place of residence to my new one. Tara was the one who originally took my call. She is an extremely knowledgable young lady as well as polite and professional. she assured me that they would be able to help me, and that if they arrived and found that the piano in question did not require as much maneuvering as I feared it would, they would not charge me the full amount quoted. On the morning of the move the crew arrived on time and they were all very polite and knowledgable. They had all of the right equipment and had me packed up and the piano on the truck in no time. The beat me to my new place and I was the one making them wait at this point. The got my piano into my new apartment (even negotiating some concrete steps) and charge me about $80 less than originally quoted! All of this, and I was treated like royalty!
Description of Work: I have a full-sized digital piano in a hardwood case. I was moving from one house into another and there were concrete steps involved as well as tight turns (the new house was built in the 1920's, so not ADA!). Expert Piano Movers strapped my piano onto a dolly after covering it. They rolled it out into the driveway and lifted it off the truck. Once we arrived at my new place they unloaded the piano from the truck, rolled it into my garden, installed a ramp up the concrete steps, lifted the piano off of the dolly and up the ramp. Then they put the piano on end onto a smaller dolly and took it into the living room, unloaded it from the dolly, unwrapped it and set it up. They did not leave till they were sure that everything was in working order.

 + -1 moreThe three man crew arrived on time when they said. They were courteous and cheerful. When they moved the piano, they exercised extreme caution not to scratch our hardwood floors. They were also very careful around the other furniture in the room. We were a little undecided as to the position of the piano, and they moved it around until we were satisfied. Overall, they were very professional. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely use their services again.
Description of Work: Expert Piano Moving Co. moved our piano from one corner of the room to another to create more space in our living room.

 + -1 moreTera was a pleasure to work with over the phone she was flexible with scheduling and was able to offer a quick turnaround. There were three gentlemen who came to move the piano. They were outstanding! They took great care not to damage the piano and were FAST and efficient. After they delivered the piano to the new residence they even offered to come and move it to another space in the home if I so desired. This was a positive experience from start to finish and I would use this business again.

 + -1 moreThis was a tricky job, but Expert Piano Moving performed well. Even my neighbors remarked upon their professionalism. I purchased a grand piano from a private seller, and Tera coordinated with the seller for me (the seller had only positive feedback as well). When the movers arrived, they found the doorway with a turn up a fight of stairs that was quite a bit a bit tighter than they expected, but they were able to work it out in a calm, professional manner. In the end, I paid just under the quoted amount. They were careful not to damage any part of any home or the piano in the process. I'd use this company again.
Description of Work: Expert Piano Movers coordinated between me and a private seller, and moved a grand piano from a first level home to a second-floor apartment.

Description of Work: Expert Piano provided service which moved our pianos from the moving van into our home. Moreover, Tera and her husband delivered more expertise and service than we could have anticipated. They provided guidance regarding the loading of the pianos in prepartion for our move from our then resident state to New Mexico. They loaned us a piano moving board for use with our pianos in our then resident state, and they instructed us how to use it. There was an unexpected cold snap in New Mexico, which she alerted me to, and she shared the consequences of our pianos being exposed to varing temperatures. She insisted I call her as soon as the moving truck arrived knowing it could be late at night or early morning. The pianos arrived on the moving truck, I called and they responded. They arrived straight away to unload the pianos and get them out of the cold. They did not rush me with regard to piano placement in our home. They made sure furniture coasters were in place under the legs where requested. They shared information about my antique piano, which added knowledge and fun! Tera was on call from start to finish to answer any questions and to make sure the move was smooth.
