FULL communications breakdown(s). Complete No Call/No Show - not once! but TWICE (even after giving Josh S. a "second chance" after a "car was totaled"). No business card was provided to me ever, and you can't go to the address that appears on his NM-License#388674 since he hasn't "lived there" for a while. The listing on the Better Business Bureau....appeared to be correct. My deposit was taken and then ... he made no call on the Sat they were supposed to show up. Couldn't reach him at all until Monday night. Gave him a second chance - and did nearly the SAME THING on the following Saturday! I can't begin to describe the amount of call/visits/efforts/text/email attempts made by me. Getting my deposit back was pulling teeth. Reality and Life tragedy may have come into play, I'll grant that possibility - but with multiple weeks with the availability of today's 2018 technology, you simply cannot fail to do something as absurdly simple as "hey, T-Mobile - forward my business phone to my alternate" or "just review your own voice mails from another phone" or "just call the ink-&-paper number on the Work Order from any payphone and let someone know" or and this should have been possible too "just have one of the already-supposedly-scheduled crew just drop in at the scheduled time and personally say "Sorry Dude, Muphy's Law is raining down upon us HARD - lets reschedule for next week"". Even if the "limiting events" told to me were true..... is there no one else in this company (or even a friend/family-member) to just touch base and reschedule....or coordinate a quick simple refund of the deposit so that another contractor can be contacted to fix the roof? I've had my own small-business; it's really really tough! And to be honest - his presence, prices, and his re-work design plans were completely solid! But NOT Communicating with the owner of a deposit is, in my opinion, Not Acceptable. It is also my personal suspicion that I believe that he literally "Blocked My Phone Number" (you could tell by the "instant call rejection and routing" of ONLY my specific phone #). I had literally gone down to the ABQ Municipal Courthouse and filled out most the paperwork when he FINALLY called me to arrange a pickup of the Deposit. I think the actual time needed for me to run down of costs involving the Bernallilo County Sherrif's Office "summoning/serving fees" & some other compensation fees were the only things that kept this whole debacle out of court. Bottom Line: I got SCREWED by a lack of communication over 3 weeks that was STAGGERING! I personally do NOT recommend going with Expanse Roofing for this reason. Corrective Actions could Include: 1) Automatic or Manual Re-routing of phone calls. 2) Online Scheduling App.. 3) Creating an Actual Website. 4) Designating an Alternate POC to handle the business when away. 5) Updating the contact info on; Work Orders, NM-Buisiness License, & provide updated business cards to customers.

My husband researched at least 10 different roofing companies and met with at least six who came to the house and gave us a quote on roofing. We have a very large garage about 1100 Sq foot and then our home. Our home is approximately 24-25 years old and had started to leak in rainstorms and was starting to deteriorate from the hot New Mexico Sun, hail, summer monsoons and so forth. It was sagging and in need of repair. Initially we were going to go with asphalt tiles on our roof which is what it had originally. We finally decided on a metal roof and began to see who could do that for us. Out of all the Roofing companies contractors that my husband and I met with, but primarily my husband who took the lead, it was Mr. Joshua Sandoval owner of Expanse Roofing , who really came across as the one to do the job. We had researched online what was required and what to expect for a top quality job and while others gave us assurance that what they could do would be a top job, Expanse Roofing was the most believable and conveyed a quiet sense of confidence. Joshua came across as honest, extremely prepared to do the job: His roofing business is 1) extremely professional 2)very prepared 3) used top quality materials and also had top quality resources 4) explained everything to us in way we (I, the wife) could understand. I'm an educator and anyone who can take the time and sit at the table and take question after question with the pat ience of a pro and then explain back to us in detail in response to our question s is rare. He did not try to rush us, to do the "salesmanship" job on us. Mr. San doval was quite genuine and wanted to be sure we understood everything. H e went over things repeatedly. His crew was awesome, we felt a high degree of confidence in the workmanship of Expanse Roofing. The other factor that was important was feeling safe with the crew. They are all hardworkers and they were always working but when interacting with us they were all extremely courteous. We have a disabled daughter and never once did any of us feel uncomfortable when we went outside. As a woman with a family that is a critical factor in whom we hire, feeling safe. Expanse Roofing made us all feel comfortable with all the workers they sent to our house. We give them a 5/5 rating-the highest rating. Their work is extremely high caliber and you don't have to worry that they are trying to get by with substandard work-They striped the old tile off the house roof and the garage roof, had trailers and took all the trash, placed several layers of material on the roofs, they didn't simply put the metal on the bare roof. Superb deliverable. Great job. They left things as clean as when they arrived. Very professional team and definitely a company who prides itself in its reputation and credibility. Top Notch.

The new roof looks excellent. Joshua and his team did an excellent job in the reroof of our house. Very pleased with the quality of their job, professionalism, conscientiousness, and punctuality. Joshua was very knowledgeable, clearly explained our options and on issues encountered he provided suggestions and performed corrective actions. The job was completed as scheduled. Joshua and his team cleaned up the work site at the end of each work day and after job completion. His warranty includes yearly maintenance and inspection over 10 years. Expanse roofing - highly recommended.

Expanse Roofing I would give a 5 star too. That is crazy coming from a old property manager! He was prompt knowledgeable and worked with our budget. Did not try to up-sell the job and we will use him for maintenance down the road. I certainly can refer him to friends and family.

We were pleased with the quality of the job and the speed with which they completed it. We still have to resolve getting a permit, but we are confident they will complete this task.
Description of Work: Enhanced Roofing put a new roof on a small commercial building. They were able to do the work immediately and completed the job promptly. They left the area clean. The owner updated us about the work and was available to answer our questions.
