EverGuard was great from start to finish! The sales team was excellent and educated us not only on product, but the entire process. Don our sales consultant was very informative and addressed our concerns. They installed an Owens Corning complete roofing system that had several advantages over other contractors that came out. They weren't the cheapest estimate we received, but the quality of product, warranty, and professionalism is what sold us, and glad we made the choice we did! The roof looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier. We would highly recommend EverGuard

Our contacts with Everguard Roofing have been excellent and we highly recommend them. Our recent experience: Everguard returned to seal a leak that developed after an electrical storm. They had provided an inspection in the spring and sealed leaks at that time. No leaks occurred in the next six months or so, in spite of several rain storms. However, in November, thunder boomed right over our house and lightning struck. A leak developed. They came to Santa Fe from Albuquerque to repair and reseal the roof damage. Although it may have been a lightning strike or a thunder boom that triggered the leak, Everguard took care to fix it. We consider their initial work was very good and follow-up fantastic!
Description of Work: Everguard Roofing workers returned to seal a leak that developed after an electrical storm. They had provided an inspection in the spring and sealed the roof against potential leaks. They returned when called after a storm in November opened a crack and let water in. We were impressed with their responsiveness and their follow through.

Description of Work: The guy that showed up to check our roof was professional and did a good inspection. Claims no problem with roof but certain areas needed to be resealed. The couple they hired to caulk were awful! They were at the house for less than five minutes and didn't even look at certain balconies. We called the business and they sent them out to recaulk. The whole time the women was on her cell phone and bad talked me. Will never use again. Since this incident I have had to hire another roofer because two of my roofs leak.

I bought a roof inspection/minor repairs package. The inspection was fine. They inspector was courteous and punctual. He pointed out numerous problems with my roof, some of which I expected and was aware of. The repairs are my issue. I expected a little more than literally 10 minutes in repairs which consisted of half a dozen small, caulkings. I consider this to be a waste of $200. To be fair, I don't know how they'd do with a major roof repair. I'm speaking strictly about the package I bought, which I feel was a waste of money. Everyone I dealt with was courteous, professional and punctual.
Description of Work: roof inspection and extremely minor repairs.

We purchased the big deal from Angie's List and they were absolutely terrific. My husband dealt with it but they were here on time and they did what they said. I think we haven't had a leak that I know off. My husband thought they were good. They did everything they said they would and I recommend them. Canadian roofers are just tricky people because I've had a bad experience with roofers, they robbed me but this was good. If my husband had a complaint I would have heard about it. If they give us the same deal for the other house that we have, we would use them again. I think they were good enough for me to want to have them come to this other house which is twenty feet away.

The provider moved from an F rating to a D and if I could get the "promised several times" work order from work supposedly done after the initial inspection, a correction on the stucco color and the roof doesn't leak with the next storm, they might even be an A. Caution to the next buyer: be VERY certain of the scope of work. Here's the story: I purchased an inspection/maintenance package in April. Following the initial inspection I received a call from Caleb that an additional photo was needed for an area his engineers wanted more detail on. We exchanged messages and I was trying to schedule around my work demands. When I finally spoke to Caleb in person, he said a crew had already been out and he could send me a work order of what they did. I questioned this because I have 3 large dogs and try to corral them when work is being done, since normally a work crew will not come onto the property when they are out (and I also have to open the gate for them). He said the dogs didn't bother the guys and they did the work. I guess I wanted to believe Caleb and consented to wait for my work order. I am probably a slow learner. Once this year's monsoons started, I had a serious leak in my utility room and again called EverGuard--I guess assuming they would already know about my roof and/or an earlier maintenance fix had failed (but I still didn't have a work order to see what was done). I showed Caleb the leak and expressed my concern that some of the water was going into the globe of a light fixture and I felt this was very dangerous. He came back with a quote that included a full roof replacement for $12,000 and a patch-up for $1,800 (+$2,000 with tax). I approved the $1,800 and scheduled the work, which also included fixing a couple of stucco cracks that caused a smaller leak in my sunroom. The work was done and the stucco color was a mis-match and resulted in a bright stripe down the side of my house. Next monsoon: utility room leaked another gallon or so of water so I called Caleb and also expressed my displeasure with the stucco. He said he didn't realize the utility room leak was supposed to be included in the quote, which he said addressed the sunroom. I clarified that the utility room was THE priority and the sunroom secondary. Since he did not leave me the signature page of the quotation, however, I did not have documentation. He said he would send out a crew to fix the leak and the stucco. Tim, the person who led the crew, was prompt and courteous and seemed to understand exactly what it would take to fix the utility room leak, which he agreed was very dangerous. (I think it is fixed but it will take another rain storm to confirm). He had several stucco color samples on his phone but it was very difficult to see in the sunlight. We didn't exactly agree on the color chips when compared to the side of the house but he said he'd take a color chip with him to match. I confirmed with him that the roof parapets might still have the original stucco color and that a new color was applied about 7 years ago. Tim stated he'd make the "fix" wider than the original so it would blend in. I now have a foot-wide stripe of stucco down the side of my house that is not even close to the color coat. Since it is visible from the road, my place looks pretty white-trash. I have to reiterate that Tim and the folks who worked on my house were courteous and responsive--just not very good with color matches. (And I didn't expect a 100% match since I know the stucco has probably faded since being applied originally; however, the same color family would help). I'm just hoping the big leak in the utility room was done correctly so my power does not blow out.
Description of Work: The provider completed an initial inspection of my roof under a package special and I later contacted them about fixing a roof leak.

He took pictures of everything up on the roof. One of the pictures showed a puddle of water around the swamp cooler. I really appreciated him showing this to me because the swamp cooler was working fine. If not for his attention to detail, I would not have known there was a problem until it had damaged my new flat roof. I called my cooler man and even though the cooler was working fine he found that the swamp cooler was leaking and could not be repaired. I had the cooler replaced two days later. The other pictures showed me how everything else was still sealed tight. I would highly recommend this company. My only regret is that I do not remember his name to give him his due credit for a job well done.
Description of Work: Sealed around pipes and even cut back ivy climbing up the stucco to roof from neighbors house. (I live in a townhouse).

Caleb made an appointment and then inspected the roof. He took photos to better explain and illustrate the areas evaluated. Very helpful and clear. After we agreed on the work to be done, an appointment was made for the following week when his crew would be in the area. They arrived and completed the work (sealing and adding gravel). Very efficient and professional.

Haven't had a chance to look at the work on the roof but it seemed to go well. They gave us some advice on other things that we needed to do on our roof that the Big Deal didn't cover. We weren't at the house when they did the work and when we came home everything was all cleaned up.

Great
Description of Work: Had the 15 your roof checked for soft spots and we wanted to ensure that everything was sealed. He inspected the roof and we were told that it was in excellent shape for its age and we should expect another 10 years. Everything sealed well with no maintenance required. No attempt to upsell and we were told if any problems occur in the future they honor the Angies list purchase since no additional sealing or maintenance was needed at this time. That was reassuring.

Everguard is somewhat expensive, but the work of the tradesmen is very high. The work of the office staff is of extemely poor quality. It should not be this difficult to spend my money.
Description of Work: Contacted Charlie at Everguard to schedule a roof cut and installation of a 4" vent. Made an appointment for the following Friday. Everguard will not dispatch a crew the morning of the appointment until they get confirmation that the contact person is available. As I was in the room preparing for their arrival, I did not get their calls until nearly 10am, at which time they had dispatched the crew to a different job. Called Charlie to complain, but he was off. Called the next Monday and rescheduled the appointment. The crew then did arrive on time, however they did not bring the 4" vent. I left and purchased the vent that they then installed. The quality of the work was excellent, although I do not really think a 3 person team was needed for such a simple job. The cost was somewhat high, but again the work was excellent. As I have had a couple of minor roof leaks, I also had the crew evaluate the rest of the roof for the needed repairs. Have discussed with Charlie twice, but it has been three weeks and they have been unable to provide either the evaluation results or an estimate of what is needed to repair those minor leaks.
