I'm no sure the structure of this deal is sound. You purchase 3 hours of labor, but how long should a task take? It's just hard to know if it's a good value or not.

He came out and gave me an estimate, but I decided to go with someone else who was cheaper. He came out, we set a time and he was there for that time, everything was quick and to the point, and he was in and out. The insurance company quoted me kind of low, and the other company actually got me more money from the insurance, so I was actually able to afford everything I wanted to do in the house. The other company quoted me a price that was on the insurance and helped me get more money out of the insurance.

Overall it went good. Nice gentleman and we'd use again should the need arise.

Contractor was a little late, however I live a lot farther than most people. He was very thorough and detailed. Even gave me some tips.

Mike is a nice guy. He did several things for me and did a really good job. He was professional, showed up on time and did the job. I've hired handymen before and they don't even bother to show up to give me an estimate don't call nothing!!! MIke came thru for me with the work he did and i'm happy with his work.

Great prompt efficient service

NEVER AGAIN - STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR Mike Watkins was prompt on the starting day, but as we began to go over the agreed-upon plan of action, Mike informed that the plan he had in mind would work better. As with any work, a detailed written estimate and work plan is a good idea. Trust me, you want to get one if you use ENTIRE HOME SVC! ***UPDATE*** Mike called afterward to see how we were satisfied with the job. I explained the problems a broken tile, the edges, a switchplate and the sink. He came out at an agreed-upon time - he was prompt and professional - and corrected all the aforementioned problems. I must say, he stands behind his work. ***2nd UPDATE JULY 2013*** Nearly all of the grout and caulk installed for the kitchen countertops is cracking and/or falling off, even after sealing. An edge tile fell off and the sink drain / disposal job has come loose causing leakage into our cabinets for the second time. This time I will be forced to get someone else over who can fix the problems left behind, once and for all. ***3rd UPDATE OCTOBER 2013*** Widespread cracking and grout falling apart and disintegrating -- terrible quality job! I had professionals out to fix his sink install, which you would think is a pretty basic task for a Handyman. I also had someone look at his tile job and they said the installer had no idea what they were doing. At the very least, Mastic and lath or something flexible should have been used for a countertop and probably a non-porous underlayment should have been installed. However, not being a professional in the trade, I relied on his judgement -- MISTAKE! Everything is cracking and coming apart because he layed the tile and mortar directly on particle board which sucked all the moisture out of the grout. Save yourself the heartache and find someone else...even with the BIG DEAL price of $99 it is not a wise purchase.

We purchased a Big Deal on 12/2/2012 for 3 hours of Handyman Services. Soon after, I called to schedule with Mike Watkins. We played telephone tag several times over the following couple of weeks until he finally told me that he would call me on 1/2/2013 to schedule something. After more telephone tag, we decided on today 1/8/2013 at 3 pm, since he was doing a tile job when we talked. He told me he would call to get my address. He never did. At 2:55 pm today, I called him to provide him my address and find out when he would arrive, etc. He called back while I was on another call and said that he didn't have me on his schedule and he was going to decline the job. I tried to reach him, but was unable to and left another message. He didn't call back so I tried him again at 3:15 today. He picked up and I asked him what was going on. I had already spent significant time and money to prepare and purchase items for the work he was to perform today at 3 pm. He said that he was getting a haircut at the time and was busy. At that point, I was done.

We first hired Mike through an Angie's List deal. We asked him to do some basic handy man work which was done professionally and quickly. We ran out of things for him to do with an hour left on our deal. We had some other, more extensive work that we wanted done and he told us he would credit the hour to the next time he came back (although I don't think he was supposed to.) When he came back, things seemed to take much longer to accomplish and I had to ask him to check the light kit on one of the ceiling fans. When he finished the work he gave me his invoice, but he had not credited us for the hour he owed us. I reminded him, and recalculated what we owed. The revised total came to 187.50 and I gave him $200 in cash. We had even more work that we wanted done and he said he would contact us after the holidays to schedule. We received a call from Mike on New Year's Eve. He spoke with my husband and said was ready to schedule our next work, but informed us that he felt we had not paid him enough. I was quite disappointed that he would come back to us this way because the difference that he was claiming was only about $20. I called him back and reminded him that, while installing one of three ceiling fans, he broke 3 light bulbs, broke a ceiling hanger and installed the light kit improperly. I had to replace the parts, as well as take the light kit apart and reinstall it correctly. He was quibbling over what amounted to approximately $7. I told him we didn't need anything else from him. We will find someone else.

Mr. Watkins showed up exactly on time and after a short tour of the house to see where he needed to work, he went to his truck, got some tools and his ladder and went right to work. I did not have to answer a bunch of questions, he just worked away steady and very professionally; just stopping long enough to make sure that things were where I wanted them. He was very quiet and went about his work with professionalism and security in knowing about what he was doing. I really appreciated that about this man. He worked quickly and showed me things to be careful of (like the wobbly shelf I had asked him to put up). He did everything in only two hours, and I was not prepared for him to finish so quickly to find other things for him to do, so I let him go early. The quality of his work really shown through; and he was there to work, not to "chit-chat" with other contractors I had on site that day. He explained to me that he does construction and is a journeyman in electrical work, so he is capable of doing a variety of jobs. That is good. I will definitely use this man again - for bigger projects.

I appreciated his work so much I asked him to give me an estimate on a much bigger project. I have since decided to hire him for the next project and look forward to him tiling our countertops. He is very reasonable in his prices.

Mike called to let me know he'd be a few minutes late (only 10). He was very efficient, amiable (put up with our 3 dogs trying to supervise his work). I had such a mish-mash of tasks, but he moved from one to the other smoothly and got more done in the 3 hours than I had expected.

Excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Thorough clean-up after project was finished. Met time schedules.

Great experience from the intial telephone call to the final product.
