Empire Yard Maintenance

Was out of town when the work was performed. Came home to a job very well done. This is the second time I have used Empire and will continue to do so in the future

Great! I've hired Empire twice over the last 3 years and have been pleased both times.

My home's sidewalk appeal is 100% better. Empire's two workers did exactly what I asked them to do. When I pointed out something to be done before they left, they smiled and were very nice about taking care of one last, little thing. Nice young men, very fast and thorough. This is the perfect vendor for older customers like me who have a hard time keeping up with routine yard maintenance. I will hire Empire Yard Maintenance again and again.

All I had them do was the yard clean up and the come and they come on time, they do what they're supposed to do you know they clean everything up. My only complaint this time was I had them before and I thought they could have gotten more done in the time allotted so I don't think they were productive this time as I have had them in the past.

It went perfectly. Two men worked four hours cleaning both the front and back yards plus they professionally trimmed two large plum trees. They were on time getting here and when they left everything looked clean and ready for spring.

Their weeding was awful. I came home and only 1/2 of it was done after walking the yard and showing where I wanted all work done. They did respond and come out promptly the next day but they caught me on a bad day. I was tired of having poor work done when I expected better and above all what was promised. It just gave me one more thing I had to deal with,

I found them reasonably priced, dependable, easy to work with. The same crew did my yard all summer, and they were very helpful, personable, and cooperative w/ my special requests. I will definitely have them back next summer!

Not well. They had to come out several times and tried to collect bill before services were completed. Little work performed first day. Showed up late the 2nd day. No apologies or discounts for their issues.

Not good at all - how did this company get an award?? Price: would have been rated "good" if the job had been completed and not strung out over 3 weeks. Estimate was to complete job in one day (Oct. 14th). Quality: Work incomplete. Part of lot not mowed, some bushes remain on leach field, trimming not completed along fence and driveway (see photos). Responsiveness, Punctuality, Professionalism: Terrible. First day little work completed. They did not come out next day (Sat.) or following Monday to complete. They did not call to reschedule or apologize for delay. I had to call them. Came out following Friday (late) and completed 75% of lot. Did not return to complete and did not get call from owner (again). Instead I got call from invoice person wanting payment (Say whaaat?). Finally on 11/3, owner came out to "complete" the work. Got a call from invoice person again stating the job was "complete" and they were ready to collect payment (full price of estimate for the incomplete work).

Went very well! Responsive, estimate was given and stuck to, workers were punctual and professional. It was pricey, perhaps, compared to hiring a random from CL, but definitely could rely on them to do a good job.

their was a team that came. They were very efficient and very fast. I was very I,pressed. In fact I am using the group again to clean up the yard for fall. Highly recommend.

I have been using them every two weeks for the summer. They are coming back this Friday. They were very responsive to our needs and fixed an issue in a way I thought should be fixed. They redid a certain project for me at no cost. I think their price is reasonable. The two guys that come out work for an hour to an hour and a half.

They showed up right on schedule and did a great job cleaning up the front yard. I had purchased the deal for 2 people for 2 hours work and I had more work than could be completed in that time, but I don't have any complaints about the work that was done. They cut down the weeds and pruned the hedges in the yard and raked up and hauled off all the debris in the front yard. Both guys were polite and professional.

The work that they completed was satisfactory, however, as stated above, they left after being on the site for one hour.

It is $90 a month. They come twice a month. They are easy to work with. They are responsive. We have liked them. They have done good work. They could be on time. They could also have the right equipment. When they came a few weeks ago, they didn't have the trimmers they needed for the bushes and so, they had to use the ones that we had. It usually takes like an hour.

Very well. Arrived on time. Polite workers. Work completed to satisfaction.

They were prompt and professional.

It was a surprise that two men, suddenly, appear to my home and, told me that they will work in the yard today! the workers were two, and work two hours each. suddenly, they left without telling me bye. the two men did a good job. I would like to tell the company manager, to be more respectful and, be more responsible.with the clients,

These guys are fantastic! Helpful, friendly, and get a phenomenal amount of work done in two hours. We will definitely be using them again and referring them.

It went pretty good. They're coming again.

Hershel and Lee worked extremely well together and accomplished a lot of cleaning in the time they were on my property. They did an excellent job and I was extremely pleased at how well the yard looked once they had finished. They were both polite and worked steady throughout the time they were on the property. They did not leave any debris behind. I was very pleased with the workmanship. Empire has done work for me before. I have never been disappointed in their work. I would recommend them to others.

With the quality of dethatching, I think they could have done a better job on that part. The aeration was fine and I'm sure the fertilization was fine. But, there is still a lot of dead grass that I think, maybe, they could have gotten out.

We scheduled a certain time; he wasn't there. I was waiting, called him and we set up a different time for the following Monday. This job would take me 4, not more than 8 hours, and he wanted $250. I could find somebody else to do it. I offered a reasonable rate of $150 and he wasn't interested, so we canceled the work.

We had signed up through an email and received an email confirmation about the date and two hour window which the service was to start. We had had Empire come out twice before this to do a general yard cleanup and a tree service with very good results. His workers showed up a half hour after the 2 hour window and performed the service. I wasn't able to stay for the whole time they were there. Subsequesnt to this we found that one of our sprinkler heads was sheared off and we had no other company come out and perform yard service, and the next scheduled time in 2 weeks no one showed. I texted the owner to tell him no one showed and he apologized and later stated no one in his crew owned up to doing our yard in the first place. Maybe it was the sprinkler head?? Don't know but we had never complained about that to the owner. Anyway I asked if someone could please just come and mow and he stated he'd check first thing Monday AM. We went and purchase a lawn mower and did it ourselves over the weekend and I texted him we'd done that so we just waited for the next scheduled maintenance. Then again, no one showed up. No one called, texted, emailed me to tell me they were not showing up either time. I texted them to take us off the list. Then I received the bill for the one service by email on 5/13/16, which is a very handy feature, and it states on the invoice that it is due by 5/10/16. Then on 5/16/16 I get another email stating my invoice is past due. I sent a follow up text stating it was amazing to me that he wants to be paid within 3 days when I can't even get them to show up or alert me that they would not be able to, for a total of 2 visits. Positives: Good work by conscientious people for first two visits. Good billing system. Negatives: Not conscientious about showing up with regular maintenance and then questionable work about the sheared off sprinkler head. Response not adequate enough to insure that staff wouldn't leave us high and dry again.

Two brothers--Tony and Rob--did a really great job. They were very friendly and profesional and I plan to use them in the future
