Empire Yard Maintenance

I bought a deal for 15 labor hours to use on my guard because the weeds were overgrown in the back and front. The The crew showed up on time and were very polite. They ask what I wanted, I gave them a short tour, and they set to work.They worked nonstop on my large yard and it was done in the allotted time. I'm very pleased with the results and I had a good interaction with the crew. They were professional and friendly. I will definitely use them again.

The brothers showed up on time and charged by the hour. The pricing was very reasonable and did not cost me an arm like so many other companies have estimated me for the removal of two trees and some yard clean up. They did the big job first and then used the remaining time to cut back my overgrown wisteria and trim the tops of some bushes. It took them a little over one hour. I was very pleased at how diligently they worked. And now I dont have two eye sores in my backyard that look like halloween trees. Thanks guys!

I purchased a coupon on Angie's list for this service, and the process couldn't have been smoother. The folks at Empire emailed promptly to schedule the service, showed up on time, and completed the job quickly and professionally. I would definitely use them again.

I was pretty much satisfied with them but they were supposed to be on a maintenance. They said they will put me on a maintenance plan and they didn't really follow through on that and then we had some issues with the billing. I was just not very happy. I had to call them a couple of times.

Tree trimming. Yard cleanup. Removed rosebushes. Pruned roses and shrubs. Hauled away debris. They went over and above what I requested.

Empire yard maintenance had a special on Angie's List for $299 for 8 hours of yard work and brush removal. When I called them and told them I had approximately 1/4 acre of brush to be removed, suddenly I was told that I would have to go by an hourly rate of $75. So, Empires advertisement is misleading. I agreed to do 5 hours of work. However, the two guys-both named Tony showed up a half hour late with a tiny hauling cage, that was already full of someone elses trash. So, they had to go to the dump to get rid of that. Then when they came back, they started complaining about having to go to the dump a lot of times, and that would cost them a lot of gas, etc. So, they called their boss, David Peltz and complained to him about this-although I had already worked out an agreement concerning everything I wanted done the day before with David-to include hauling away a butterfly bush, and a small baby tree that had been planted prior to my moving into the house by the previous owner. Both guys had an attitude the entire time, because I told them I wasn't going to pay more, and would just get a friend to haul everything away instead of paying them way more money than what was already agreed upon. They were also deliberately slow, and did not do the entire 1/4 acre in the alotted time, and even finished a half hour early. I had to fill in the holes left by the bush and small tree removal, and get a friend to haul off the brush with only one drive to the dump, because he had the appropriate sized hauling cage. I probably will never use these guys again, because they just were not very good.

They were on time, polite, did everything that I needed done and I am extremely pleased

Everything went fine and it looks very nice. There are a couple spots that need to be filed down on the wall and one cap stone needs to be glued. I think they've forgotten that I brought these items to their attention at the time but they were very busy.

They were wonderful! There were no additional fees associated with the deal.

Empire was able to schedule the cleanup on my day off with very short notice. Two very pleasant and professional young men (Tony and Paul) showed up exactly on time and evaluated the work that I needed done. They did an exceptional job of trimming and cleaning and making the yard look well maintained. I was very impressed with the amount of work they were able to accomplish and their diligence in completing all of the tasks.

The guys were prompt and professional, I have a composter and they were willing to put all the grass cuttings into the composter for me which was wonderful. They did a great job cleaning up the yard also.

First I can't say enough about the courtesy and responsiveness of both the estimator and the crew. They took time to work with us and answered our questions thoroughly. The workers didn't have any issue with the constant interruptions from our toddlers nor our dog. Some of the best service I've received. The work: They did great. Everything is living, green, and done well. They worked with our marginal selections of stone and figured out a way to make everything work together.

David came over to look at my yard and gave me an estimate on the spot - very reasonable for the work that needed to be done. We scheduled a time and date for the work to begin on the spot as well. Workers arrived timely and went over the work that was going to be done. End result was awesome! We are very happy with the quality and look of the work that was performed.

Two workers asked what work was to be done, they explained how they would do it and proceeded to do the work. They worked hard and covered all the items in the time allotted. They did not have a lawn mower with them and went back to shop for one. Great job and very professional.

Brian and Diego did excellent work. We discussed what I wanted them to do and they accomplished all the work in the alloted time. They were very professional and responsive. The landscaping looks far better after they finished.

A couple months out now our yard looks better than it has in a few years!

Overall very well. They were a great help in getting the yard back into a maintenance mode setup. Initially not prepared to trim juniper. They did come back and trim it away from the house. Maybe could be a little cleaner on the side with the fence, but overall it was satisfactory.

David and his crew are pro's they do a great time every time.

Purchased a Angie's List Big Deal. Crew of 2 did the job, rather quickly. Personally I would have taken a little more time to make sure I did a thorough job. But again, they did the job.

Overall, it was a good experience. They could have been more thorough though. They did the work really fast, but left some stuff behind. They took most of the weeds with them, but not all of them. For the price is was really worthwhile.

The service providers were very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. We were not aware that the house we purchased came with an irrigation/watering system and they took the time after the appointment to explain it to us and set it up so that our plants would be watered and optimal times.We were quite pleased with they way they worked and their helpful suggestions for our yard. We will be using this service for all of of our yard maintenance.

The job went well. Mike and AJ were the particular folks doing the work for Empire, and they did a great job. They took care to mark the sprinkler heads so that they didn't get damaged. They made several passes with the aerator in difficult areas. They had good, modern equipment. I would recommend this aeration/fertilizer service to others. Price at $88 seemed reasonable. It costs $58/4 hr, (or $83 for a full day) just to rent an aerator at Home Depot, so you don't save much doing it yourself. Doing it by hand would take a long time. One note: the ground was a little damp due to rain, so the divets weren't quite as big as usual. Its better to have the aeration done on drier soil.

They were able to come out right away and provide us with an estimate. There were additional costs beyond the price beyond the deal, but they let us know up front. They provided one load of debris hauling with the deal, but we had needed three loads. They removed a lot of dry brush from around our home for fire purposes as well as some dead trees. They did a wonderful job of getting in there and trimming them down. Two men completed the job in two days as planned. They were very courteous and professional. It was a wonderful experience!

They arrived about a half hour after the appointed time. The yard clearing went well, except that they used leaf blowers that blew a fair amount of debris onto the patio, which they did not clean up. We purchased 4 hours of yard clearing for $99 on an Angie's List special deal. They finished in 3 and 1/2 hours and then surprised us by charging an additional $50 to haul it away.
