These guys always do great work. I have used them for years.

These guys are always very friendly, professional and thorough. Honest company with fair pricing and good work. Our front and back yards always look great when they're finished. We use them almost year-round for lawn work, cleanup, leaves, etc. David, the owner, is really honest and nice to work with. Very responsive team.

The crew with Empire Yard Maintenance did a great job. We had them pick up leaves and pull weeds in our large backyard and remove pine needles in the front yard. In addition to the yard work, they hauled away construction debris on the side of our house. They were punctual, they all worked hard and everyone was friendly. I will definitely recommend Empire Yard to my friends and family.

The two-person crew arrived on time, let me know they were here, and immediately went to work. It took about 20 minutes. I won't know whether the fertilizer worked until next spring. I had arranged for lawn aeration and broad-leaf weed killer several years ago with a different company (I now can't remember their name, but it was a national company) and was horrified at the results. Even though they had set a date and told me they would check in when they arrived, they instead came while I was out of town. They had obviously used far too much weed killer because it nearly killed the lawn. I was much happier with Empire's approach.

The contracted company worked very hard to clear a massive amount of leaves and trim many many shrubs on my property. They performed good work, but were not very careful with some of the rose bushes, and left the ends splintered and torn on many of the bushes.

A team of two guys came to my home and cleaned the dead leaves and tree branches. They were friendly, quick, and efficient.

I enjoyed working with them. Making an appointment was easy. They were very professional and the landscapers arrived on time and were very friendly. They responded to my requests right away and were very helpful. As for the work, they did exactly what I asked them to do, but the result isn't quite what I expected. Specifically, I have a ton of weeds coming up through the fabric, and the edging isn't entrenched into the ground in one or two spots. I don't really know what we did wrong, and I did not follow up with them about it, either, just because it never occurred to me to do so. The landscaping fabric that I asked them to put down was my own material. Before they started they did tell me that the edging that I had picked out wasn't ideal for this climate and offered to replace it with their own materials (at a reasonable, additional cost). I had picked out a plastic edging and they replaced it with metal, which is more suitable for the desert. I really appreciated that.

The owner, Mr. Peltz, came by appointment two days in advance to make an estimate. We agreed on a time very convenient for me, even though I live on the far side of Albuquerque. The estimate was lower than I expected while the work exceeded my expectations. They stuck exactly to the estimate. Two workers, Tony and (?), arrived in the designated morning, worked hard for about 2-1/2 hours without stopping, and were very professional, pleasant and cooperative. They listened to my requests for how to trim certain bushes. They took out an amazing amount of garden trash, and the yard looks elegant and cared-for. I appreciate that they did not try to "sell" me any other services, such as concrete fixtures or extra plantings. I know if I want those things in the future, they would be well carried out.

These guys were great! David came out to give us an estimate, and was very reasonable with the price (lower than 2 other estimates we had done). They were able to complete the work within a week of the estimate, which he attributed to it being winter, but nonetheless we were quite pleased with the turnaround time. Our backyard is about 3600 square feet, so it was quite a job. The gravel looks great, they cleaned up after themselves, and David came by to inspect the work before he would let us pay him.

The service worked out fine. They did it on time and on the right cost. They did a good job. It looked good after they were finished. I might have had them do some extra work.

Overall they did a pretty good job. Sent 3 guys, tow of which seemed to work hard, one that did just OK. Not the most friendly guys, but they got to a lot of what I wanted done. Bought 'em a pizza for lunch, but didn't elicit any smiles.

The crew was to arrive between 9 and 10. They got to the house at 10. They were friendly and professional in their interactions with me. I walked one of them around the yard and told them what I wanted. The worker said it was no problem, and they got to work. I have always paid between $100 and $150 to have the front yard cleaned up, so I was happy to pay extra and have both the front and back yards done. The work that they did was excellent. They trimmed, mowed and raked. My front yard looks great. They were thorough, and I appreciate the fact that they worked with such care. Initially, I was concerned about getting a full 8 hours of work, but I spoke with David from Empire, and he was responsive to my complaints and will be sending out a crew to make sure that we receive the full hours of work that we purchased. I appreciate his flexibility and concern over the issues. I won't hesitate to use them again.

.I purchase an Angie's deal for $299 & sent the provider an email with some suggested dates for the service. He responded right away and was able to send two men for 4 hours on one of the days I requested. They arrived promptly and cheerfully did all the yard clean-up I needed. The work was very well done.

The two young men showed up exactly at the scheduled time. They were friendly and professional. They got right to work when they arrived, and finished the job quickly. They did an excellent job!

Used this contractor for two years but terminated them after they had left yard gate open for the third time. We have dogs, so open gates are a serious issue. I met with the owner recdently and told him that leaving the yard gate open was unacceptable. The next time the crew performed work, they again left the yard gate open.

Everything went very well. It took two guys working all day to first strip away the lawn down to the roots in the back yard, about 400 square feet, then put down a landscape cloth, and then cover the entire thing with stones. David explained to me how to look at available stones on-line which was very helpful, but we also went to the Buildology stone yard to see the stones "in person". They also capped off the sprinkler system for the lawn and removed an old rose bush at the same time. They also installed a decorative walkway made of flagstones that traversed the new stone area. The work was done within a week of our accepting the original estimate.

Dffiicult getting in touch with provider and scheduling services. And provider had hard time remebering dates that were agreed to and frequency of visits even when it was based on their availabilty. Services provided were ok and persons providing services seem to do everything but outright ask for a tip when service was completed.

They are usually closed on weekends but they sent someone out on Saturday to finish a job that another company had started and quit right in the middle of it!I recommend them to anyone and I was just so pleased!

Came to kill the original grass, put new sod, cut a dying pine tree and plant a new one.

The two subcontractors were extremely punctual, friendly and communicative. They listened to what my priorities were and were able to get 95% of my work list done in the 8 man hours. 80% of that list consisted of items I really needed done and the other 20% where things I put under the classification that it would be nice if they could fit this in. A minor accident occurred during the work that involved some property damage but they let me know as soon as it happened. They were on the phone to report the problem and within minutes a separate workman showed up, while they were still there, to start on repairs. The result was that I ended up with something better than the thing that was damaged. Wow, I had heard horror stories about services that are low quality, costly and leave you with a mess. Thanks to Angie's list for pointing me toward this excellent and responsible service.
