They worked really hard. Very satisfied.

It went well. When I wasn't pleased with the trimming, they very quickly took care of the problem. I am looking forward to rescheduling for the 2nd hour, which was part of the deal.

They were supposed to arrive on Friday afternoon, but had run over on other jobs and did not come. They showed up Saturday morning and cleaned up as much as they could in one hour. They are supposed to come back on Friday July 31 and finish up.

Workers completed clearing large space filled with weeds. They showed up on time and were thorough with the job.

My lawn mower broke and my grass was already too long with all the rain we've had, they came and did a great job, quickly.

It went very well. We were happy with it. My husband hired them so I'm not certain but I know that he was happy with them and they moved a lot of rock and did all kinds of stuff. We have a wall of yard it's between a wall and the road and the weeds are not coming up and it's staying nice and fresh looking without weeds and it's good. I think they came on time and everything.

I wrote an email to the owner reporting that the employees had pulled up one of my prize yucca plants. I later found out that they had actually taken out another one in a different location. He had the audacity to write back and claim that maybe I had told his employees to do that. Over the next month, I called and emailed several times, telling him that I wanted a call back. Never a response. If you want this type of service, including yard maintenance by staff who do not recognize the difference between important and beautiful plants and weeds, you have found your company.

The two gentlemen who came to do the work were completely professional in all ways. They arrived exactly on time which was amazing since they had to pick up gravel and then go to the nursery where the plants I had selected were 'on hold.' They were courteous, and clearly took pride in their work. They had a good 'eye' for placement of plants and when asked, readily shared their thoughts and opinions - which were excellent! Both were a pleasure to have in our home and we hope these same men will be back when it's time for bi-monthly clean-up/maintenance. David, the owner, is amazing to work with! He is an excellent communicator and his knowledge of plants and their preferred location was immensely helpful - particularly since we are not so good at that. We have used Empire many times and look forward to a continuing relationship with them. How many PLUSSES can we add to A? A+++++

Removed 3 trees and cleaned up yard.

They did not do what I asked them to do and I did not know until a few days later. When I contacted them about the issue they were not willing to resolve it.

They did a good job. We had to hire them for more hours to try to finish the project.

They did whatever I needed. Pleasant boys.

David showed up at my home a day before the scheduled job to preview the project and fully understand my needs. He sent a two man crew the following day to complete the job. They showed up on time and began rototilling the area before shoveling 3 inches of loose dirt into a dump trailer before departing to drop the load at the westside dump. They returned the following day to complete the job by removing and hauling away the last inch of dirt over the 700 sq. ft. area. His crew showed up on time and performed the job to specifications at a fair price.

Arrived in designated time, got right to work, completely cleaned my very messy yard which was full of weeds, choked with leaves and dead blossoms, with some big overgrown limbs that hanging over my and my neighbor's roofs. They removed all and left the place looking stunning. All took only two hours, and they were very nice friendly workers--brothers, in fact. I find that they don't really know much about plants--which plants or weeds are which and how to treat them for the future. But the owner is the real landscaper; I only paid for a cleanup and I am overjoyed at the results.

Workers arrived ontime and did the work they were asked to do. I have used this company before and they have always been good.

We received a fair estimate for the garden and scheduled the work to be done. They arrived on time and did a very good job on the wood work. They had to hand cart the dirt in and re-fit the bubbler system. Also, they finished off the landscaping at the end of the garden as well. Additionally, we had them spray for weed control due to weeds coming up in the gravel. We are not sure how they sprayed or where as the weeds did not die. After contacting them again, they were suppose to come back out and re-spray the entire area. We are not sure if they sprayed all areas as we still had weeds that continued to grow. After contacting them again they were going to come back and re-spray and since I had already pulled the weeds and sprayed the concrete joints and cracks I told them not to come. They credited me the $50 for the spraying on any future job I have them do. Overall, they did a good job and we are pleased with the work and the price.

They were prompt courteous and did a good job.

Ground was wet with snow so power raking was not done. Otherwise all work was great.

David was absolutely great to work with - we called to get an estimate and he was very prompt. His crew completed the trimming as requested and cleaned the yard front and back. We had some overgrown bushes and shrubs that required pruning and his guys added rock to the yard as well. Tumbleweeds were piled up between our house and the neighbors from all the windy days on the West Mesa, so we had them remove all of the debris. Empire Yard Maintenance Services did a fine job for us and I would happily recommend this business to others.

He did a lousy job. He overcharged me by $1,000. I had to keep calling him and calling him to send his guys back out. I got sick and tired of calling him, so I just gave up. He wouldn't finish the job. They kept saying it was finished when it wasn't. When they asked me what color rocks I wanted to cover the cloth to keep the weeds out, I said it didn't matter which color, I just wanted something there. He said the cheapest thing would be some white, gravel-like substance. He mentioned that it would be a little dusty, but that was okay with me because it was an area of the yard that I didn't really care about dust. What he didn't tell me was that weeds grow there. That's the whole idea of having that area fixed so I wouldn't have to have weeds pulled out there. I can't do it myself. I'm 73 years old and have medical problems. It's ridiculous. They didn't even trim the bushes right. It was a simple job, trimming some of the bushes, and they wouldn't even do that right. Unfortunately, I paid him anyway. Based on what he said he usually bills if he gets paid by the hour, he overcharged me by $1,000. That's outrageous.

I used a special deal, and arranged to have them come when I was not home. They did the aeration, but they clearly only went across the grass once so it wasn't aerated that much in the end.
