I initially gave a great review in 2016. Since that time we have discovered the poor workmanship, quality and care they put into our remodel. In the past year we have had to completely replace our roof, which they installed. We have had severe water damage inner house requiring thousands of dollars of repairs. I have made attempts to contact them and they will not respond to my attempts. Paul, the "P" in E&P is a nice guy, was absent for a great deal of the project. His main guy Victor is the opposite of professional. Victor is defensive and easily insulted when issues are identified. In the process of remodeling our house they destroyed our fence. The subcontractors they used were often disrespectful. The electrician/plumber intentionally damaged appliances and part of a cabinet. I could go on an on with examples of poor craftsmanship, but the picture should be clear.

Response from E & P CONSTRUCTION
I appreciated the opportunity to build an addition for the homeowner. When we finished the project we did have a leak on the addition roof which we repaired, and we repaired the interior as well. Eventually the homeowner wanted to bypass E and P and deal directly with the roofing contractor to roof the main house, which is what happened. Unfortunately the homeowner had problems with the roof repair, And the homeowner expected E and P to be liable for the roof. Which we could not do, we never received any money for the job we never contracted to do the job. The roofing contractor is an independent contractor and is not a part of E and P. As for Victor and the crew being disrespectful I would find that very much out of character , these things should have been brought to my attention immediately. Paul E and P

First, it was my first experience as a woman handling a remodel by using a contractor. While searching internet I called and left messages for free consultation. Found a lot of people did not even return my call. Paul called from E & P Construction and set up an appointment with me. Gave me an estimate and provided me with all licenses knowing I was very cautious about the job. He worked with me on changes to the plans and always answered all of my questions, which I might add were quite a bit. The remodel was extensive to a 60 year old home. He completely gutted the kitchen and constructed a new kitchen with cabinets, title back splash, and sink. The wall between the living room and kitchen was removed and a header had to be put in to make one large area. Plastered and painted both living room and kitchen. New lighting fixtures installed and the best was the laminate flooring in the one large room. Installed new outside and security door as well. His workers were polite and professional and Paul oversaw the job. Job done in 10 days. Wish I could install pictures to show the transition from a old house to a palace in my eyes. During this time I required additional work like roof repair and brick fence again done in a timely fashion. Paul was always on top of the work in progress and communication was never a problem. Due to his integrity, professionalism, and his work ethics he made this whole experience one that I will call him for any additional remodel work that will come up and I am proud to recommend him to all my friends and family. Because my reputation of recommending anyone for work is on the line I never did so until now. Paul, E & P Construction, and all workers involved in my remodel, THANK YOU!
Description of Work: Remodel living room and kitchen by removing wall to have open living room to kitchen. Completely gutted kitchen and installed cabinets, kitchen, back splash, plastered, painted, installed lighting fixtures, moved electrical outlets, and installed laminate flooring. Living room plastered, painted, installed outside door, security door and continued laminated flooring from kitchen. Outside of this remodel with them doing such a good job had them repair my roof, repaired a brick fence in front yard, and repair plaster on ceiling in another area of house.
The overall finished product was excelent. We love our new addition. Paul was patient and responsive to our requests and made changes when needed. At times things took a little longer than we expected, however he never gave up when things got complicated. He was good for his word.
Description of Work: They provided a large addition to our home. Approximately 700sqft.
